Conquering Our Unseen Enemies
:Understanding Enemy Tactics and His Influence in Our Lives. This podcast will discuss how Satan's kingdom functions to create conflict, chaos and influences our decisions and outcomes when we don't even realize it. We will discuss his strategies and provide a deeper understanding to develop your discernment and eliminate his influence in your life. Since before the earth was formed, there was an unseen kingdom. At some point, that kingdom became divided when "Satan fell like lightning from Heaven", as described by Jesus in Luke 10:18. The division was a result of Satan wanting to ascend over God, Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 tells us the story. We know that the kingdom of Satan is highly organized and that he roams the earth looking for ways to influence our lives. In Job 1:6-7, we read of Satan doing just that, and we know his kingdom is organized because it came out of heaven and when he fell, so did the angels under him. The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of order, so the kingdom of Satan coming out of Heaven, would likewise be a kingdom of order. These two unseen kingdoms remain in continual conflict around us, but most are oblivious to what is happening and how it influences us in our daily lives. Paul gives us more insight in Ephesians 6:11-12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." We know these forces are still in conflict today because the final battles yet to come are revealed to us in the Book of Revelation beginning with Chapter 4.

· Why does Rebellion seem so attractive?
o First, we don’t always realize we are entering into rebellion. We rationalize or justify what we are about to do.
o Second, our desire to obtain what the rebellion provides becomes more important than what God provides.
o Third, we aren’t willing to be honest with ourselves that our rebellion is taking us to a place that is drawing us further from God.
o Fourth, we would rather continue in rebellion than have to admit we are involved in things we should not be.
o Fifth, we have become so engaged in what we are receiving, that we no longer want a relationship with God.
· Rebellion is turning our back on God. Rebellion is the source of evil. Satan is the father of lies and everything he offers is a lie.
· So why do so many people fall for this trap from Satan?
o Satan rebelled from God as a result of his pride and his desire to become God
o Satan uses our weaknesses against us to pull us into rebellion.
· Here is how God views the rebellion of man:
o 1 Samuel 15:23.
o Proverbs 17:11,
· We need to wake up as a church. We need to see Satan for what He is, a void, a darkness that offers us nothing in rebellion. God is the provider of all things. Rebellion is death. God is life.
· John 10:10.
