New research shows that AI data centres may be heating up nearby areas.
These large facilities use a lot of energy to run and cool their systems. As a result, they can raise local temperatures by several degrees—and in some cases by up to 16 degrees Fahrenheit.
The heat can spread for miles, affecting millions of people.
Scientists studied thousands of data centres and say the impact is global.
This is a concern because more AI centres are being built as demand grows.
Experts warn this could add to climate problems if not managed carefully.
They say better, more sustainable solutions are needed as AI continues to expand.
Business News
Oil prices increased and stock markets fell in Asia last week as the war involving the US, Israel, and Iran intensified.
The price of oil rose above 115 dollars a barrel, as concerns grow about supply disruptions.
Markets are worried about key shipping routes, especially the Strait of Hormuz, which is important for global energy supplies.
Stocks in Japan and South Korea both dropped sharply.
Experts say oil prices could rise even more if the conflict continues.
Higher energy costs could lead to rising prices for food and everyday goods, increasing the risk of a global economic slowdown.

Three valuable paintings have been stolen from a museum near Parma in Italy.
The artworks were created by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, and Henri Matisse.
Four masked thieves broke into the Magnani Rocca Foundation and escaped within minutes, taking paintings worth around nine million euros.
An alarm stopped them from stealing more.
Police say the robbery was carefully planned and are now investigating.
It is one of the biggest art thefts in Italy in recent years and has raised concerns about museum security.

Football fans could get a better deal at UEFA Euro 2028, with UEFA planning to keep ticket prices relatively low.
Around 40% of tickets will be in cheaper “Fans First” categories, with group-stage prices expected to stay below £30 or £60 — similar to UEFA Euro 2024.
This is very different from the FIFA World Cup 2026, where tickets can cost hundreds of pounds, and even parking at MetLife Stadium can be over £130.
UEFA will also avoid dynamic pricing and offer better support for disabled fans.
Overall, it is a move to keep football more affordable for supporters.
Self-development
Self-limiting beliefs are negative thoughts that can hold you back, especially at work.
These might sound like: “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not ready for a promotion,” or “I’m bad at speaking in meetings.”
These thoughts often come from past experiences, but they are not always true.
Empowering beliefs are the opposite. They sound like: “I can learn,” “I am improving,” or “I will give it a try.”
For example, instead of thinking “I can’t do this job,” you can think “I can grow into this role.”
Start by noticing your thoughts and questioning them.
Then replace negative beliefs with more helpful ones.
You don’t need to feel confident to take action.
In many cases, success comes from changing what you believe about yourself.
Well, that’s all from NEWS OF THE WORLD for now. I hope you challenge negative beliefs today, and I’ll talk to you soon! Take care!
