The release of police bodycam footage has raised serious questions about the response to the murder of 18-year-old white student Henry Nowak in the UK.
The footage shows Henry being handcuffed after his attacker falsely accused him of a racist assault. Henry repeatedly told officers that he could not breathe and that he had been stabbed.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the footage was difficult to watch and that important questions need answering.
An independent investigation is now looking into whether police actions were affected by the false racism accusation.
The case has started a national debate about policing, fairness and public trust, while Henry's family continue to seek answers and accountability.

Spain is expecting another record year for tourism, with visitor numbers possibly reaching 100 million.
Tourism is a major part of the Spanish economy and has helped the country grow faster than many of its European neighbours. Recent conflicts in other holiday regions have also encouraged more travellers to choose Spain.
However, not everyone is happy about the growth. In places such as Barcelona, many residents are worried about overcrowding and rising housing costs linked to tourism.
This creates an important business challenge: how do you keep growing without creating problems?
Spain’s experience shows that long-term success depends not just on growth, but on managing growth responsibly.

A court in Los Angeles has sentenced Kenneth Iwamasa, the former assistant of Friends actor Matthew Perry, to more than three years in prison.
The court found that Iwamasa played a key role in supplying ketamine to Perry before the actor died in 2023. He had already admitted his involvement and cooperated with investigators.
The judge said he should have known the dangers because he was aware of Perry’s long history of addiction.
For many people, the case is a reminder of how complex addiction can be and how important it is to have the right support from those closest to us.

The Monaco Grand Prix was full of drama, but it ended with another win for Kimi Antonelli.
The 19-year-old driver took his fifth victory in a row and increased his lead in the Formula One championship. Even with safety cars, a red flag and a chaotic finish, Antonelli stayed calm and drove brilliantly.
Lewis Hamilton finished second, while home driver Charles Leclerc had a disappointing race after crashing out.
Antonelli's nearest rival, George Russell, also struggled and failed to score points.
With many races still remaining, Antonelli is now looking increasingly like the favourite for this year's world championship.
Self-development
Last time we discussed why purpose is important. This time, let's talk about how to find it.
A simple starting point is to ask yourself: What gives me energy? What do I enjoy doing? What matters most to me?
Think about times when you felt happy, useful, or fully engaged. Look for patterns. Purpose often grows from the things we naturally care about.
Another helpful question is: If I looked back on my life in ten years, what would make me feel proud? Your answer can reveal what is truly important to you.
Once you have an idea of your purpose, use it to guide your choices. Ask yourself whether a decision moves you closer to what matters.
Purpose isn't something you suddenly discover. It develops over time through curiosity, action, and paying attention to what gives your life meaning.
Well, that’s all from NEWS OF THE WORLD for now. I hope you follow your compass today, and I’ll talk to you soon! Take care!
