Genesis 6–8
Psalm 104
Mark 3

When the world is in chaos, God does not step away. In Genesis chapters 6 to 8, we see both God’s judgment and His care. The flood shows how seriously God takes sin, yet Noah and his family are protected by His covenant faithfulness. God remains present and purposeful even in destruction. Psalm 104 reminds us that this same God continues to sustain all creation, day after day. Nothing escapes His care. In Mark chapter 3, Jesus shows God’s authority in a personal way by calling people into a new kind of family, one built on listening to God and doing His will. Together, these readings show us that God is faithful, powerful, and worthy of trust, even in the hardest times.

Across these readings, one message rises to the surface. God remains faithful and powerful in every situation. He calls us to trust Him, to obey Him, and to respond with praise rather than fear.

So what might faithfulness look like today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by today’s readings.

First, write down one promise from Scripture that gives you hope. Keep it with you today and return to it when you feel uncertain or overwhelmed.

Second, praise God for one specific thing you notice in nature or in your own life. Let praise shift your focus from worry to trust.

Third, choose to stand firm in one right decision today, even if others do not agree. Let obedience be your act of faith.

As today unfolds, keep this in mind. God’s faithfulness does not depend on your circumstances. He is steady when life feels unstable. Trust Him where you are, obey Him with courage, and praise Him even before you see the outcome.

Thank you for joining me today. Trust the God who sustains all things. Until tomorrow, may His faithfulness steady your heart.
