Day 42 – Faithful Obedience and Assurance
Leviticus 26–27
Psalm 112
Hebrews 10
God is clear about both the blessings of faithfulness and the seriousness of turning away. In Leviticus chapters 26 and 27, He sets before His people the outcomes of obedience and disobedience. Covenant life involves real choices and real consequences. Psalm 112 describes the stability and quiet confidence of those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways. In Hebrews chapter 10, believers are urged to hold firmly to hope, trust in Christ’s complete sacrifice, and encourage one another to remain faithful. Together, these passages call us to steady obedience rooted in confidence, not fear.
What ties these readings together is this. God invites His people to faithful obedience grounded in assurance through Christ.
How do we live this out in simple ways? Here are three practical steps for today.
First, identify one area where God is calling you to renewed faithfulness. Take one clear step of obedience today.
Second, remind yourself of Christ’s finished work when guilt or doubt tries to pull you back. Let assurance silence fear.
Third, encourage one person in their walk with God through a word, a message, or a simple prayer.
As you go into the rest of this day, hold on to this. Obedience is not driven by anxiety. It grows out of confidence in what Christ has already accomplished.
Thank you for joining me today. Walk forward in assurance and steady faith. Until tomorrow, may confidence in Christ strengthen your obedience.
