Janice Konstantinidis was born in Tasmania, Australia, lived in Paseo Robles, California, and now lives in Paris, France. After writing her first poem about a meadow, she thought, “You might be a poet. Yes, that’s what you are; you could be a poet.” While it took her many years, she has come to believe she is a poet and more.
“There’s always been something in me that wanted to express what I felt about my surroundings.”
Takeaways:
Writing can create something about you, something you own, a sanctuary that is yours.
Each of us has a voice. We can write and we will when we are ready.
Shared writing creates a relationship between the writer and the reader/listener
