Episode 16 | How To Curb Workaholism
Please be aware that addictions & workaholism are discussed in this episode.
This solo episode is one of my more vulnerable shares: Talking about my workaholism. I’ve known that I am a workaholic for several years now, but it’s not something I publicly talk about a lot. I mention it nonchalantly and I think people assume I am perhaps saying that as an exaggeration for being busy and working a lot. The truth is, though, I am a workaholic. Not all the time anymore. It’s something I am working through daily and have flair-ups every once in a while. One of which I just went through and why I decided to record this episode and talk about it publicly. This episode is me sharing what my journey of workaholism has looked like, why I feel I am addicted to work, and share the tips that have aided me in helping to curb it. My hope in sharing my journey is that if you are also dealing with workaholism, this episode makes you feel less alone in the struggle.
