Two Noras and a Mic
Night Cap with the Noras and our Guest Amanda Sutter
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Grab your favorite cocktail and join The Noras for a delightful conversation with Western Springs' newest entrepreneur, Amanda Sutter, founder of Jolie dress boutique. Amanda shares her journey from dress enthusiast to shop owner while we sip on custom blackberry lemonade cocktails crafted by The Opry's talented Dan Schovain.
The magic of Jolie lies in Amanda's thoughtful approach to fashion retail. With only six pieces of each style available, shoppers enjoy a significantly lower risk of the dreaded "same outfit" encounter. This exclusivity creates such demand that Amanda regularly declines requests for additional inventory, instead focusing on bringing in fresh selections weekly. Her careful curation considers diverse body types, age ranges, and price points while maintaining a distinctive aesthetic that fills a crucial gap in the local shopping landscape.
Beyond business strategy, we dive into Amanda's personal life as a mother of two girls and wife to Josh Sutter (of Summer City Adventures fame). Their global family travels surprisingly take a backseat to favorite memories at Hilton Head according to their daughters – a relatable parenting moment that had us laughing. Amanda reveals how opening Jolie has given her children a new perspective on her professional identity after years of remote corporate work, allowing them to witness her entrepreneurial journey from empty storefront to thriving boutique.
With homecoming season approaching, Jolie is set to become "homecoming headquarters" by late July, offering local high schoolers a convenient, stylish shopping destination with less risk of duplicate dresses at the big dance. Whether you're shopping for a special occasion or seeking everyday elegance, Amanda's passion for helping women feel confident through fashion shines through in every aspect of her new venture.
Follow Jolie on Instagram @joliedressboutique and visit the store at 824 Hillgrove Avenue in downtown Western Springs Tuesday through Friday (10am-6pm) or Saturday (10am-3pm) to experience this fashion gem for yourself!
Right on the corner, right on the price! Head down to 93rd & Cicero & tell them the Noras sent you!

Meet the Noras and Amanda Sutter
Speaker 1Hi, thanks for joining us today. It's Nora and Nora, but not just any old Nora and Nora. No, it's two Noras, it's.
Speaker 2Nightcap with the Noras. Yes, that's right. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited Our third Nightcap with the Noras back at the Opry Back with Dan Chauvin mixing up drinks.
Speaker 1Man, he never disappoints To match our guests. Yeah, it's fun. That's part of the fun in it is that when we go there's a little element of surprise. Yeah, that's what we're going to be sipping on.
Speaker 2And this one was a home run. So sit back, relax, maybe grab a cocktail yourself and enjoy our chat with Western Springs' newest business owner.
Speaker 1Amanda Sutter Okay, listeners, hi, welcome back. Welcome to our third Nightcap with the Norahs. We are thrilled to be back here at the Opry with Dan Chauvin and our very special third guest, western Springs' newest business owner. Is that your drumroll? Yeah, I love it, amanda Sutter. Yay, oh, this has been very exciting for us, as we amp us, to hear all about a shop that we think you're going to probably spend a lot of money at and that the town desperately needs.
Speaker 2Absolutely so. Welcome, amanda, we're so happy you're here. Thank you to Dan for having us again and you have created something that looks so here. Thank you to Dan for having us again and you have created something that looks so beautiful. Can you please tell us? It looks like summer, and it looks like Amanda and it looks like your shop. It's perfect. You nail it, as always, but can you tell us what we're about to enjoy?
Speaker 4Yeah, so this is one of our summertime cocktails. It's basically a hard blackberry lemonade with club soda added, so it's a lot like drinking a from-the-scratch seltzer Alos. It's made using wild blueberry syrup that we make in-house, fresh-brewed lemon juice, or jat, which is a macadamia nut of core. It's commonly used in tiki or tropical drakes, and then it's finished with some apple. I think I already said club soda.
Speaker 2Nice.
Speaker 4Yeah.
Speaker 2Okay, I don't want to rush you, but I'm really excited.
Speaker 1I know I want to taste it. All right, cheers, cheers you ladies. Thank you, dan, all right.
Speaker 3Cheers, Cheers you ladies.
Speaker 2Thank you, Dan.
Speaker 3All right, here we go. Oh, this is great. Oh my gosh, it's so good.
Speaker 1This is dangerous, yes, it's good.
Speaker 2Oh my gosh, wow, it's got like three phases. It's like sweet and then you're like, oh, vodka. And then you're like, oh, sweet, again, it's fine.
Speaker 1How did you come up with this recipe?
Speaker 4How did you come up with this recipe. We had a young lady who had graduated from high school and here with her family and she had just her family asked if we could make a mocktail for her. They were celebrating someone's birthday, everyone else had drinks and we had been thinking about putting some sprits on the menu for the summer, and so I just used it as an opportunity to try something out. I just kind of grabbed some things I thought would work together and came out of it.
Speaker 2We all benefit from this. Well, thank you, Amanda.
Speaker 3Are we vying by the pitcher? Yeah, we'll do it for you.
Speaker 1And it's nice to know that the Opry also has non-alcoholic options in the evening and matchams.
Speaker 4Yeah, we have a couple on the menu, but we're always willing to mix something up Well.
Summer Cocktails with Dan Chauvin
Speaker 2We have a couple on the menu, but we're always willing to mix something up. You guys are awesome. You don't really taste the vodka too much, but maybe that's dangerous, it's low alcohol.
Speaker 1Well, thank you as always for crafting drinks that perfectly match our guests.
Speaker 2So, amanda, welcome. We're so happy. You're our first woman that we've had on Nightcap with the Norahs, so we're happy to keep it with the ladies here. And before we get to your shop, can you just tell us and our listeners about yourself, and a little bit about you and your family too?
Speaker 3Yes, as you mentioned, my name's Amanda. I live in Indian Head Park with my husband, with two girls, adelaide and Veda. They'll enjoy hearing their name over this. Adelaide's going to be in 5th grade. Veda's going to be in 2nd grade.
Speaker 2Are you from the area, or did you find your way here? We found our way here.
Speaker 1Is your husband from the area? He's not. Where are you both from?
Speaker 3Small town south of the city.
Speaker 1Okay, yes, and where did you guys, did you meet? Where did?
Speaker 3you meet. I met Josh while I was in high school. We didn't start dating until I was I think I just turned 21, so like a few years ago.
Speaker 2Okay, Western Springs youngest business owner as well.
Speaker 1And I had my child at 20.
Speaker 3I had a 10-year-old when I was 22. Just kidding. So I think I met him, like he worked with one of my good friends and were you like?
Speaker 2oh hey, that's Josh Sutter.
Speaker 3That's cute. For all intents and purposes, we will say yes, Okay great.
Speaker 1Exactly what I thought at the moment. And how did you guys make your way to western springs? How did you land here?
Speaker 3I think, like anyone who's not from here. It was like what's? Because we like worked in the city, right, usually what's close to the train? Check, check, check. Yeah, it kind of checked all the boxes and how long have you been here? Uh, we've been out here for nine years, some. Okay, take my oldest, how old she is. We moved up on that's some really quick math, are you guys?
Speaker 2yeah yeah, no, we're impressed with any math, not numbers.
Speaker 1So you were here, you know, eight or nine years and then just had this grand idea to start a business. Or how did Jolie come to be?
Speaker 3Um, I knew that I wanted to do prom and homecoming. So, like when I was in school, I always wanted to do homecoming and prom. Like I never wanted to find the dress, I just wanted to keep shopping, which really annoyed my mom at some point.
Speaker 2Same when I got my wedding dress I just was like let's keep it going yeah, um, and it is fun to shop for wedding dresses I mean, at some point it gets a little like you gotta like pull the trigger, you know.
Speaker 3So I always wanted to do that, and then I thought what do you do between seasons? I've always enjoyed wearing dresses and I thought, well, I'm just going to do dresses. They're feminine, they elevate your outfit.
Speaker 1I feel like they make you look put together, no matter what you're doing, and Western Springs was the perfect space, because we desperately need a shop like that in town.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean, I obviously think so.
Speaker 2Yeah, did you always have your sights kind of set for Western Springs or did you realize that there was a hole and there was a need for it?
Speaker 3I did look at like neighboring suburbs, obviously, like space is so limited, like retail space, sure. And then it just made sense Like obviously my husband has some businesses in town and the community is very supportive of him, and so when that space became available, everything just started coming together.
Amanda's Family and Moving to Western Springs
Speaker 2And speaking of your husband, he runs Summer City Adventures he does. It's a fantastic summer camp and so we were kind of curious. It's such an adventurous, lovely camp, like what have been some of your family adventures, because you guys are travelers. So what have been some of your favorites Sutter family adventures that you've been on?
Speaker 3My kids will tell you. So the girls have been to a few countries and if you ask them what their favorite trip is, it is Hilton Head, south Carolina, which is like great. And I'm always like, oh, even like Berlin, switzerland. What about like pasta eating in Italy? And they're like, yeah, hilton Head's really great. The free concert in Harbortown, the ice cream, the yeah, hilton Head's really great. The free concert in Harbortown. The ice cream, the older gentleman I'm like okay.
Speaker 2Okay, got it. So we brought our kids to Hilton Head and we stopped in Knoxville, tennessee. On the way there and on the way home we said what was your favorite part of the trip? And they said Knoxville.
Speaker 1Oh, a trip on the way home, yeah Great. And we were like, oh okay, we could have stopped there.
Speaker 2We loved that hotel. I'm like the residence in Knoxville, but did it have a pool? No, we didn't go to the pool Like it was great. We loved walking around Knoxville.
Speaker 1We've had to stay at places with like a continental breakfast before and my kids get the biggest kick out of that.
Speaker 2I'm like come eat my own waffle.
Speaker 1Like this is a free breakfast in a business hotel.
Speaker 3Of all the places you've stayed.
Speaker 2Yeah, these are the free loops in the back.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, like, oh my god like it makes corn pops anymore, but they're because you guys went to?
Speaker 2was it london for the bears game? Where did you? Go recently in the fall we did yes. London and the bears for the bears game because we match up with two kids by going into fifth grade, going into second grade and both my kids came home from school that they're like you're never gonna guess where the setters are. I was like what?
Speaker 1and yeah, my son was super excited and who plans most of your family trips? Yes, are you the adventure seeker, or is josh?
Speaker 3I plan it. Josh packs his bag and shows up. He does start asking questions a few days before, and then I'm like I get like slightly annoyed, so I'm like it's all planned. Yeah, if you wanted to know or you wanted input, you had like months.
Speaker 2Maybe that's because he's planning adventures for hundreds of children over the summer, so he's letting you plan. I mean small details.
Speaker 3Small details.
Speaker 1It's a big summer for you guys.
Speaker 3I mean, he's been doing camp for maybe 11 years, so he started in the city. This is the first year he's not downtown, so it's been like a nice break. There's not commuting down there, he's down the street.
Speaker 2Do your girls do the camp? Yes, yes for sure.
Speaker 3They absolutely do. The camp Adelaide will roll on to a junior council role next year.
Speaker 2Oh, that's exciting. Oh, that's neat to see that that's got to be fun for Josh and I think you were saying to me a couple weeks ago it's been fun for your girls with your shop, with your business, having them there. And I think for children to see their parents work hard and to be proud of their parents is a really special thing. Like you're constantly proud of your children, yeah, but I think for your kids to see you open a business and work hard and see something through is a really special, very cool thing.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean they were for sure a lot of the inspiration behind the story, right, kind of to your point. They know what dad does, they see what dad does. They live it, you know, in the summers. And I've because in my corporate world I work from home I think they just thought mom didn't really do much, except mom does work.
Speaker 1Yeah, mom does work.
Speaker 3And so it was fun that they are at an age where they saw me look at the space as it was and they saw the renovations and like they really saw it come to life and they're old enough to hopefully remember, hopefully start working there soon. Yeah, right now we're just unpaid interns and they're like 50-50 with how they do.
Speaker 1Speaking of girls and children, my daughter is going to be a sophomore and last year, as summer kind of came to a close, we were on the hunt for what I was hoping was uniforms. But what happened was she was kind of on a different path. She wanted to choose her homecoming dress before we even bought the uniforms and it was like a hard stop. It was like I'm super excited, You're super excited about this dance that you don't have a date for for a school you haven't set foot in yet. So we're going to press pause on the homecoming dress until we at least buy the uniforms.
Speaker 3That's so you know where's this story going, right.
Speaker 1It's going right to Jolie. Yeah so as the girls gear up for school. I think part of the school supplies really is the homecoming dress, so will you have options for the girls, for homecoming dresses Julie.
Speaker 3At the end of July we'll turn into what I hope is homecoming headquarters. Oh, great For all the high school gals around here. You're right on time. Your timing's perfect. I do have a small collection in the store now and they're coming, but it's a balance right. I don't want people to obviously come in and think that this is only formal wear, evening wear. So at the end of July it'll be glitter everywhere, which my husband will not appreciate.
Speaker 1And you have kind of limited inventory on or limited sizing on all your inventory, right. So it really reduces the risk of showing up somewhere with the same dress as someone else, right?
Speaker 3yes, so I try very hard. So I only do six pieces um per item, which sometimes can only mean like one per size.
Speaker 3Add to your point we always laugh if we show up with the same yeah outfit and it's like, oh, that's funny, but it's like a bummer when you go somewhere you know, thought about your outfit and you feel really good and then you're like, oh shoot, she's got that on too and um, it's bound to happen and it does not have the big deal, of course. But I mean, I have had requests lately where it's like can you get more in?
Speaker 2and just like I can't go. That's interesting, yeah. So people ask for more and you say i'm'm sorry.
Speaker 3Yeah, but I get new inventory every week so it's like just Just keep them coming, so every week you have new inventory, yeah, so how often are you like shopping essentially for?
Speaker 4your.
Speaker 2Inventory yeah.
Speaker 4Like every day every week.
Speaker 2Every week, yeah, wow, do you go in person? Like, do you go in person, do you go merchandise-wise or a little bit of both?
Speaker 3There's big shows in Atlanta, big one in Vegas in August.
Speaker 2It's not a bad one. Beautiful in August Great, it's not a bad one.
Speaker 3It's a plansy because it conflicts with first-day of school, but it'll be fine. I mean, it's fun, but I really do try to be so mindful of, like, different body types, different ages price points. I do spend, I feel like, a great amount of time analyzing the inventory, thinking what local nearby stores might have and how I can be different, but still in line with what can you talk?
Speaker 1to us a little bit about the trends like that you're seeing or that you're choosing, or that are up and coming yeah, so big homecoming trend was yellow. Color yellow Really oh man Okay Wow.
Speaker 2That's a tough color for us pale gals.
Speaker 1It's cheap Irish skin. That's why we get spray tans.
Speaker 3There's a fix for that, you know. I think right now, especially in the midwest, we do a lot of prints in the summer and if look in my story, you'll see a lot of them not a whole bunch of salads, right, because we wear like salads and dark colors majority of the year. So lots of prints, lots of bright colors. Light blue is really big right now. Great, that's my favorite color.
Speaker 2Oh, that's nice. Yeah, I feel it was nice totally. Do you have somebody who's been kind of like a mentor to you, or somebody that like a resource or yeah. It boggles my mind like opening up a business like this and I give you so much credit for doing it and I'm just like, who do you talk to if you need help?
Speaker 3I do hire a business coach, oh great. So she's the one out of Louisiana who had a store, but she has a boutique for 20 years and she sold it Okay, and so she's been like a good sounding board for me.
Speaker 2That's kind of nice too, because she's neutral.
Speaker 1She doesn't know the area, so she can't do anything, and what a rewarding profession to take all of your knowledge of something you've already done and share it with somebody who's starting fresh.
Speaker 3Yes, right, yeah. She's got a lot of enthusiasm, a lot of knowledge, and for me it's just another, like you said, a safe zone for me.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's nice, because there's not that many people you would talk to about it. Just doing like a quick check of the families at the school our kids go to.
Speaker 1There aren't too many shop owners for clothing, right right, and switching gears just a little bit. So we love Jolie, we love the Opry, we love Western Springs. We're kind of super fans of Los Grazon. Yes, do you have some favorite spots in Western Springs?
Speaker 3Oh yeah, definitely Look at it Outside of Summer City Adventures, of course. Yes, I enjoy dropping my children off first thing in the morning. There, five weeks of summer TV is a favorite. Obviously they operate. I coordinate my workouts on Sundays so I can get here at 8 and get Josh's coffee. Aww, it's a true story Start at 7.15 at Sutt Also SJC homes, oh, casey's I know yeah. I mean, I feel like that goes without saying.
Speaker 1Yeah, western Springs is just such a like gem. It covers, checks all the boxes.
Speaker 2Well now, it does yes, before. We would just be walking around naked drinking drinks.
Speaker 1Eating donuts Eating donuts yes.
Speaker 2Queso dip in a cocktail and be like wrapped in a sheet You're going to look fancy running on it, oh man.
Speaker 1You're going to look fancy running on, oh man. Well, before we close, should we go with a round of rapid fire?
Speaker 2Yes, we have rapid fire questions. We ask all our guests. It's nothing. Are they all the same questions? Every guest gets the same.
Speaker 3Oh, okay, great, you want to get started? I'll start. All right, coffee or tea Tea, I don't drink coffee, sorry, dan, I can't copy eBay Every once in a blue moon.
Speaker 2If I'm really tired, I'll get coffee, I just don't love the taste.
Speaker 3Same I need to put so much in it's like well, I might as well just have a milkshake. Do you do hot tea, iced tea? I don't know. I mean, I only chose because those are the two options.
Speaker 2Those are the two options. Okay. Well, what did you truly choose? Yeah, in the A glass of water, water with electrolytes? Okay, no, that's good. Don't say it. I think so does when it's cultural. No, that's great.
Speaker 3No all right.
Speaker 1Early bird or night owl, oh, early bird, 100%. Anyone who?
Speaker 3knows me, knows that If you text me after 10, I will reply at 5 am. Okay, oh man you too, two against one.
Speaker 2Yes, you can text Nora at 5 am.
Speaker 1Yeah, earlier I got you.
Speaker 2I now have discovered I'm totally digressing. I apologize. On your iPhone, you can schedule a text to send. Oh, that's a lot of work. No, no, no. It's fantastic for people like me who are up late, but I don't want to text Nora at 12 o'clock.
Speaker 1Or 9.45.
Speaker 3It's kind of risky too.
Speaker 2So I'll schedule it for like 6 30 in the morning, so that, because I don't want to, forget.
Speaker 3So sure, great. But are you ever like? Oh wow, nara's awake at 6 30 is everything okay.
Speaker 2Well, now you know probably that it's been scheduled ahead of time.
Speaker 1Yeah but I will say, if I get like a phone call from nora really early in the morning like uh-oh, something's wrong, or if I call you did that to me last night, you're like a phone call from Nora really early in the morning.
Speaker 3I'm like, uh-oh, Something's wrong.
Speaker 1Or if I call you late. You did that to me last night you were like can I call you?
Speaker 2And it was like 9.30. I was like oh no.
Speaker 3Oh, when somebody says can I call you? Yeah? I know that was bad, I don't know, can you yeah that?
Fashion Trends and Business Mentorship
Speaker 1was bad, yeah, so it is. I don't really like to go to bed early Text or talking.
Speaker 3Oh, depends on the situation and the person. Yeah, or a topic of conversation.
Speaker 2Fair.
Speaker 3Yeah, I can't choose one there.
Speaker 2There's a lot of variables. You need the details written down.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or like an audio. I don't do audio text, but I will get them.
Speaker 2And I attacks, but I will get them, and I'm always like yeah, the problem with that is, then it disappears oh does it you voice test somebody it goes away when, like as soon as you listen to it, well, that's dumb, and I didn't know that, so I'd listen to a kind of it was someone I was working with and he sent me one. It was long and I was like, okay, I'll go back and listen to it again. And then I was like it's gone. Wait, that's a terrible feature unless there's a way to get it back. But I could not. I was like, how do you find it?
Speaker 3where did it go?
Speaker 1I don't know how to send this, I guess, yeah, I don't uh guac or salsa um guac, all right pre-party or after party. Oh, I mean, yeah, thank you, thank you um Dan. I will let you know while the app Dan said both. Dan said both. I think Phil said both. Yeah.
Speaker 3Phil did, phil did definitely said both yes, yes A hundred percent.
Speaker 1What is your favorite podcast?
Speaker 3Outside of Two Norms. Oh, okay, you I know Is there, are there any?
Speaker 1others? I'm not aware.
Speaker 3I.
Speaker 1Are there any others?
Speaker 3I'm not aware, I think some of those are like just starting to make their way. There's some good SNL ones. Yeah, I've been rid of it.
Speaker 2Yeah, okay, great, all right, well then we'll stick with that.
Speaker 1But before we close, why don't we have Amanda take a moment to share some information about the shop contact info, social hours, all that good stuff.
Speaker 3Well, we have official hours because we did our official grand opening and ribbon cutting a few days ago, so we're closed Sunday, monday, tuesday through Friday 10 to 6,. Saturday, 10 to 3. Find us on Instagram shopjoliedress.
Speaker 1Your Instagram is beautiful, shopjoliedress. Oh, it is, I know it's really beautiful. No-transcript. It's really beautiful, I can take zero credit for that.
Speaker 3And we are at 824 Hillgrove Avenue, the corner of Hillgrove and Milan and downtown.
Speaker 2Western Springs have you noticed traffic jams because people are driving by like slow I'm the problem? Looking in your windows no.
Speaker 3I was the intersection I was going to say because I could probably do a case study for anyone that's at that stop sign there and there's someone's daily, the problem is me stopping there, getting ready to turn right, but looking left in the window, oh no, Just come on in Any women who are looking for a dress.
Speaker 2if you have teenage daughters, this place is a home run. I told my sister run, do not walk to Jolie, because you have cute stuff for everybody.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And even for little girls, our daughters, who are in second grade. Rose has worn her dress many, many times.
Speaker 3Yeah, and thank you for oh go. Oh, I just need to love Rose. Now I got a new inventory.
Speaker 1All right, she'll be there and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule, especially with your grand opening weekend and your full-time hours now to sit down and do a little nightcap. Thank you, I really appreciate it and of course, thank you to Dan Chauvin, favorite spot to grab a sip in town.
Speaker 3Yep, I don't know you guys, I appreciate you guys.
Speaker 2Yeah, thanks, amanda.
Speaker 1And now a word from our sponsor.

Speaker 2I do Really beautiful things, something for all age ranges, from rose to teenage girls to women. I mean, that's a hard range to satisfy and I think Amanda is doing a fantastic job.
Speaker 1Amanda has such great style on her own and it's exciting that she's going to bring her style to our whole village.
Speaker 2We have a village right, exactly, no, it's true. So go check out Jolie and tell them the Norris.
Speaker 1Yes, follow her Instagram because it has great inspo and it's fun to watch.
Speaker 2It's 100%. Shall we high and low? Let's go for it, all right.
Speaker 1My low is that my husband was backseat driving this and he made a comment to me. Oh, he said, and I quote, while I was driving him to work this morning I encourage you to use your blinker.
Speaker 1Oh, was it a situation that called for a blinker About 6.58 in the morning and I was making a right hand turn at an intersection where no one was, and while I probably should have used my indicator, I don't think it was totally necessary. I thanked him profusely and told him you know, I've been looking for a driving instructor that I can have the shotgun for zero pay for months, and this is just my lucky day.
Speaker 2This happened to my grandma when she was taking one of her driving tests. They're like you failed to use your turn signal, your indicator. She's like no one was behind me. Why would I use it? Oh my gosh. And they were like uh sassy woman in her nineties, I don't know. Okay, fine, use your driver's license.
Speaker 1Oh my gosh. Yeah, no, I think I Like I don't know how I made it all this time without you sitting here making comments. So thank you.
Speaker 2Okay, so it's kind of a thorn in a rose.
Speaker 1And then you better believe I blinkered every single lane change.
Speaker 2It's so coming out of that turn signal. You're using it so much. My wrist was sore.
Speaker 1So yeah, that was my low. How about you? You know what? No, real low.
Speaker 2That's alright. No real low Things are fine. Oh yeah, I'm too like we're doing fine. Oh, we're doing fine, we're doing fine.
Speaker 1You know Well, do you?
Speaker 3have a. I'm not trying to nitpick. Do you have a high? Do you have a high? Oh, you do.
Speaker 2Okay, you do. Could you imagine I was like, nope, just Fine Vanilla. This is so bizarre. But in the car today I was like, ooh, like my neck was itchy. Hell, no, and this might gross you out, it was a ladybug it had a ladybug on me. I wouldn't be too fond of a bug on me, and then it flew up and it sat in my car for a while, and aren't ladybugs supposed to be good luck? I'm choosing to see it as a good home.
Speaker 1Oh, that's great.
Speaker 2Okay, yeah. So I was like, oh my gosh, it like landed right on me and it was there crawling around and and it was there crawling around and then it stayed in my car. So I'm hoping that is good luck, that's good luck, and then when you got out of, the car.
Speaker 1Did you take her with you I?
Speaker 2did not. I have her in my pocket. No, I'm kidding. You could have been like get out. No, it's fine.
Speaker 1I hope that luck continues to serve you well. Well, it hasn't happened yet. I don't think so. You don't have a love. That's true. My high is, I got together with a group of my Naz mom friends on Friday night to celebrate a birthday and it turned. And you would have loved this because you know this music, you know 80s music. I do, yeah, and I do not turn into a full on 80s dance party, and I was there for all of it. Yes, I rode my bike Perfect party and I was there for all of it. I rode my bike, perfect, drank my fair share of bubbles, but I didn't know a lot of the music. But it was fun, just fun to catch up with everybody.
Speaker 2You're going to hear those songs again and be like that's from the party. Yes, so I said next time I'll make the playlist.
Speaker 1Oh, that's nice to have a little dance party. It is yeah, it's such a nice group of girls and it was nice to catch up without any real responsibility you know, it wasn't like we were there for a meeting and it was just good to catch up, just pure fun.
Speaker 2Summer, yeah, summer, here we go, here we go, all right, well, thanks for joining us today.
Speaker 1And I will see you next week. Bye, bye.
