The Wandering Crow: An Exploration of the Supernatural, Paranormal, Strange, Occult, and Mysterious
Welcome to The Wandering Crow, a thought-provoking journey into all things supernatural, paranormal, high strangeness and often spiritual: realms of entities and spirits, monsters, demons, cryptids, occult, misunderstood religions, mythology, extraterrestrials, death, the veil and the afterlife. Learn about historical legends, lore across cultures, myths, supernatural encounters and paranormal phenomenon as our panel of hosts, Mandy, Abbey, Cameron, and JT, research and share. We learn and discuss topics with an open mind, offering diverse perspectives and a safe space to consider all sides of the conversation through different spiritual and religious lenses ranging from animism, paganism, shamanism, mainstream religions, to cautious skepticism. Listen in as if sitting around the campfire with us as we share many true ghost stories in a relaxed conversational talk-show manner. We do our best to make new connections and revive old traditions of spiritual lore. Through open curiosity and genuine respect, we hope to expand our limited knowledge of the world and maybe even alternate dimensions beyond our tangible reality.

In the follow up to our history of witchcraft episode, Mandy and Abbey discuss and untangle the confusing origins of Witch Craft in America. They delve into Gerald Gardner, Aleister Crowley, Margaret Murray, and the inspirations, truths, and lies of their own divinations and citations which inspired their early 1900 writings based on Witch Craft. Why does our culture at large seem to both fear and have fangirl obsession with subjects of the occult including a saturation of it in movies, TV, and music? What is Modern Witchcraft? What are the beliefs? Do they Worship the devil? Do they cast spells on Christians all day long? Listen to this episode to learn the answers to these questions and more.
