Truth is a purifying serum. It rises and releases us from the bind of inner conflict.

00:00:51  Charlotte: I believe and experienced truth as an elemental property not unlike water, air, fire, or earth. I believe truth is a serum, a purifying serum for one of a better word. That its properties are specifically designed to cleanse and to deconstruct any conflict. So truth, I think again of it as an agent that in of itself, its very instinct, its purpose is to break down what is not only in conflict, but think of it as what systems are in opposition to one another.

00:01:57  Charlotte:  Truth is not of the mind.I don't think of truth as an intellect or an opinion or a stack of facts, that is different. I think of truth, the ultimate truth as again being the conductor of revelation. By revelation I don't mean religious. I mean that it takes away what isn't real. It dissolves what is untrue, what is unnecessary, what is not allowing the systems of self to exist in harmony, in balance.

00.02.52  Charlotte: The mind has many truths. And some people find truth extremely frightening because it can be. It can be extremely dismantling. People that are afraid of truth can lean into certain perspectives, like truth is subjective or hide behind the fact that... Hey, truth is something that none of us are ever going to really know anyway, because it's all perspective. And it's not that that is untrue, of course throughout our life, throughout our day, throughout an hour what is true for us is subject to change. And it does exist through the lens of perspective.

00.03.45 Charlotte:  However, what I am speaking to specifically most especially as it comes to healing is the fact that the body has such a deep desire to cleanse itself, to purge, to release toxins. And when we are living in conflict because we are making choices that are driven more so by our ego, our ideals. And we may do a fantastic job of convincing ourselves that whatever role it is that we're playing or whatever circumstances that we're participating in we can justify them and we can feel at that time that it is so true for us. And yet... I have yet to meet someone, well maybe one or two. But I have yet to meet people that at the same time as living into that so-called truth haven't been uncomfortable with that underlying whisper, that inner voice, again it's that rising up of a knowing that this is not in alignment with what or whom I really am. The truth is not unlike the laws of nature. You really can't override truth. It will come up and it will come through you. It's just a matter of time.

00.05.38  Charlotte: And I work with a lot of people that think that they literally can't handle the truth. That they share with me, the conflict that they're in, that they're living into relationships or they're involved in a certain role or career etcetera. Any number of circumstances have been part of their identity for a really long time. And yet it just isn't sitting right anymore. And yet they think that if they face that truth if they accept that truth and they do something about that truth, that their world will come crashing down. That they will literally not be able to get to the other side of it. And I have a tremendous amount of empathy for that because that in of itself is true for them, and therefore is experienced.

00.06.42  Charlotte: However, the most transformative work is done when truth can be looked at as a healing agent, when it can be looked at not as an opinion or a personality per se, or an intellect but as an elemental property that is looking to release you, me, us from being in a bind.

00.07.20  Charlotte:  And so you may have experienced many times in your life being afraid of the truth. And yet when you hear it, it's ironic because the body knows when you hear truth, something in your body just tells you, "ah, this is familiar.  I know this." And it's ironic because it's counter-intuitive, right. 'Because the mind is afraid of it, but yet the body goes, "Ugh. Yes, yes. This is the opportunity." This is where the insight is to shift course, change direction.

00.08.10   Charlotte: And I'm yet to work with people whom haven't faced truth and gone through the really heavy lifting of making those changes based on that truth, which doesn't just involve one person but many people and come through the other side and found that not only is their mind freer, but their body is that much more healthy, that they are much more aligned, that they're no longer swimming against the tide, that things start to flow easier. That there's a greater synchronicity that there's an ease about things, a greater connection to destiny, to the very reason why you are here in the first place.

00.09.20   Charlotte:  I myself personally have made truth, as an elemental property  something that is central to my everyday life, and no matter how afraid, and there is a tremendous amount of fear, I'm a human, yet where there is the most fear, for myself I know that there is the greatest degree of truth. And so I urge myself, encourage myself to go toward it, because I know that on the other side of facing that, there will be incredible release and therefore a closer relationship to peace.
