Your worst season might be the one that builds you.

I'm speaking about failure, fear, and the kind of faith that holds up when life goes off the rails. So many of us work overtime trying to avoid mistakes, like one wrong choice will ruin everything. But the truth I keep coming back to is this: God already knows the turns we’ll take, and He doesn’t abandon us in the middle of them. Even with free will, He is still the beginning and the end, and nothing about your story surprises Him.

We also get honest about how negativity works like bait. The constant noise of scandals, outrage, and distraction can “breadcrumb” us into chasing darkness until we forget where our peace comes from. I share a personal testimony about selling my house, moving into an apartment, and then losing everything in a fire. That kind of loss can trap you in regret, but I explain why dwelling on the mistake keeps you stagnant and how God can still provide, rebuild, and restore after the hardest hits.

Finally, we talk about mistakes, redemption, and prayer. The world feels heavier, prophecy feels louder, and none of us know our last day, so I’m encouraging you not to wait to turn back to God. If you don’t know how to pray, don’t overthink it. Start with what you have. Start with “Dear Heavenly Father.” No shame, no performance, just honesty.

If this brought you comfort or conviction, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find this faith-based healing message. What part of your story are you ready to place back in God’s hands?

Welcome And Core Message

Welcome back, listeners. I'm Robin Black, and this is It's All About Healing Podcast. In today's episode, I wanted to speak about every fall is making you, and he's not finished with you yet. A lot of us we try so hard to steer away from failures, saying that, oh, I don't want to make these mistakes, I don't want to do this, I don't want to do this wrong, I don't want to do that wrong. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what we do, because God has already calculated that along our paths. And we'll have so many people say, okay, well, yeah, there is free will. Yes, you are correct, there is free will. But even with our free will, a lot of people seem to forget that God is our beginning and our end. And if you think for a hot second that God is not gonna be with you, even in the midst of your mistakes, even in the midst of your wrong turns, you're very well mistaken. Because God, He's very strategic and He's very well calculated. There is no surprising God because He already knows what we're gonna do before we even think about doing it. And a lot of people are misplacing God and forgetting that He is the Almighty. We spend so much time amplifying the negativity instead of praising the one who already has the victory. It's just like all this negativity, right? The negativity is like a dangling carrot in front of a horse, right? It keeps us chasing the truth the negativity instead of the truth. The darkness keeps baiting us, right? It's it's breadcrumbing us with the in and the crumbs are the distractions. Just as so many that you'll go on any type of social media platform, right? And they're speaking about about certain relationships and how they're gonna breadcrumb you. They're gonna do this, they're gonna, they're gonna bait you into doing this, they're gonna breadcrumb you and give you little bits and pieces to keep you come. Guess what? All of us, as in a whole, as in humanity, is doing the exact same thing with the distractions. The distractions are what's baiting us, right? It's like this when you keep focusing on all the things that Trump is doing wrong, the P. Diddy thing, all the negativity in in Hollywood, right? It's it's that negativity, it's always going to be there no matter what we do. It's never gonna go away. Right? Look at when you think about all the darkness, look at the stars. We wouldn't be able to see the stars without the darkness. But look at how much darkness there is compared to how many stars there are. These stars will they shine from light years away, but it's still the darkness that can easily overpower that. But you have to think we were born into a world of sin, but it is it is God who saves us from sin. But if it's if it's us that keeps feeding the negativity, right? We're gonna be the ones that keep constantly amplifying all that negativity instead of amplifying the Almighty. God is the great I am. There's nobody greater. Nobody is greater than He. I remember when I was when I was younger, my mother, I would, you know, when I would get in trouble, and my mother would say, Oh, you think I'm one of your little friends, huh? Like you, you done forgot. You think you done talk to me like I was one of your little little friends, and you done forgot, huh? I guess you need a reminder. Guess what? God does the exact same thing. God does. He is He is no different. That's when we feel the wrath of God. That's when sometimes we have these troubles in our lives, whether you're facing any type of turmoil, adversity, sometimes that's the only way to wake us up. A lot of people sadly won't turn to God unless they are put in a position to turn to Him or to say their first prayer. So when we sit here and we look at all the negativity that's going on, all the, oh, woe is me, and I can't believe this is happening to me. And sometimes that's to wake us up. Sometimes it's it is because of our mistakes, right? Some of the mistakes that we make lead us down a road that we definitely never wanted to go down. But it goes, we have to go down this road sometimes for a reason. This one of the biggest mistakes that I definitely made was selling my house. That to me was a gift from God. That, oh my gosh, thank you, God. You I sold this house. Or you, you, you, you allowed me to buy this house. And then all the everything that could go wrong was going wrong with the house. And all I could think about was, I can't afford this on my own. This is too much for me to handle. I don't know how I'm gonna do this. And instead of asking questions, I just sold it. But I can't sit and dwell on that mistake. Because if I sit and dwell on that mistake, it's gonna keep me stagnant. It's gonna, I'm gonna keep amplifying the darkness instead of focusing on how great my life is. Yeah, I'm in an apartment right now, but guess what? At the end of the day, God still helped provide for me to be here. Am I spending a lot more money? Yeah. But the simple fact of the simple fact is that God still gives me the money to provide. I'm still making it. Once I sold my house and I moved to an apartment, as soon as I moved into that apartment a month later, I had had a fire, lost absolutely everything, had to start from scratch, had to pick up the pieces with my children, had to pick up the pieces on buying everything new again and starting all over. My whole life was just gone, went up in flames. And here it is. I'm thriving still, even though I made that mistake. That mistake was making me. All these mistakes that we make and we say, Oh God, oh, that this ain't nothing but the devil, this is this, this is that. But you again, you gotta keep reminding yourself God, He will never leave us nor forsake us. That's the reason why Jesus died for our sins because he knew we were going to make these mistakes. Now we can't take advantage of his mercy and grace, but he still knows that we're gonna make these mistakes. When we hurt, when we do these things and we're hurting God, there's a reason why God is closest to the brokenhearted. He knows that that's where we need him most. When we are weak, he is strong. And he's strong because he knows that we don't have the strength that he has. That's why we are made to lay all of our burdens down at his feet, no matter what it is that we are going through. It is never gonna be too much for him to carry. When anything gets too heavy for you to carry, that's when you give it to him. This world is getting is becoming too heavy. We have no choice but to give it to God. And that's what God wants all of us to understand. This world keeps getting darker and darker and darker and darker. All the prophecy is unfolding in front of our very eyes. All the prices going up, gas going up, food going up. All of that is in the Bible. Right? One of the things about Revelation is whatever God reveals, He redeems. And it's about redemption. That's where we are right now. Now is the time to give your life to God because the end is coming, right? It doesn't mean that it's it's right now, right? The Bible hasn't been fulfilled yet, but it is still coming. It might be years and years and years later, but at the end of the day, it's still coming. And none of us know when our last day is. Everybody's last day is a different time, a different way, and a different, just a different way. You never know what it is. But don't wait until the end to start praying. Don't wait until the end to get your life with God. You never know when the end will present itself. So if you're in the midst of a storm and you're confused, now is the time to just say, God, I don't know where to start. But God, I know you hear me. And He does hear you. He hears every prayer. Don't focus on getting caught in the technique when somebody says, Oh, how to pray to God, this is what you do, this is you go to God the way that you know how to go to God because He made you. That's it. Dear Heavenly Father, that's all you have to start with. For those of you who don't know how, it does not matter what you did. God already knew what you were gonna do. And it's not time to shy away and be afraid. There is no guilt, there is no shame. All of that goes away when you have God in your life. Once you experience who He is and how much He loves you, you will never look at life the same, no matter what you do. Again, no one can tell you about a missed opportunity that you, oh, you're never gonna do this, you're never gonna accomplish this, and you that ship has sailed because you missed it. No, there is no missing anything. Again, amplify the Almighty. He knew that you were gonna make that turn. He knew you were gonna make that decision, he knew you were gonna get in that relationship. He knew all of this, nothing is ever going to be a surprise to him. So don't allow someone to take you away from him further and further. You keep running toward him because he has never left you. Even if you say, Oh, I can't feel him, I can't do this, I can't, how do you how do I know? How do you know you just start talking to your heart? That's where he lives, and he's gonna hear every thought, everything that you say, whether you speak out loud, whether it's in your mind, it does not matter. He will feel you, even if you don't have any words to say, maybe it's just your tears. He will hear those tears. He knows how to read your tears like a book. Just trust him and lay all of your burdens down at his feet.
