Hollywood Confessional
Hollywood secrets... anonymously told.
"You'll never work in this town again."
For decades, those words -- or the sentiment behind them -- have cloaked all manner of evil in the entertainment industry.
As the #MeToo, #TimesUp, #PayUpHollywood, and many other movements demonstrate, times are changing. Yet there are countless things happening behind closed doors that people feel they can't talk about and wish they could.
This podcast changes all that. Actors, writers, crew members and support staffers reveal their wildest behind-the-scenes secrets on this podcast in total anonymity. And then you get to listen to their stories.
Hosted by writer-producers Meagan Daine and J.R. Zamora-Thal, the Hollywood Confessional is a biweekly podcast by Ninth Way Media. New episodes drop every other Thursday. Subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Connect on social media @fessuphollywood!

I woke up at 5.30 this morning.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's my life I hate it.
Speaker 1:What happened to you? I got anxious about not having I hadn't like washed my sheets in like two weeks. That's what was making you anxious. Yeah, it was bad, I understand. So I threw my sheets in the laundry. Goodbye. No, not like that. Come on now.
Speaker 2:I like to keep a good schedule. You got up at 5.30 in the morning to throw your sheets in the laundry.
Speaker 1:I was having an anxiety attack and that was the only thing that would have been.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, I'm not being sympathetic.
Speaker 1:I apologize there was nothing gross about it. Sorry to hear that.
Speaker 2:I hope that washing your sheets made you feel better.
Speaker 1:Telling the story. Now I understand how it sounds. Wait, are we still recording?
Speaker 2:Hello Hollywood. Faithful, it is your favorite, not at all panicking podcast priest here, megan Dane.
Speaker 1:And JR's a morethole and, believe it or not, we are still recording here at the Hollywood Confessional.
Speaker 2:Yes, like the industry, our show went through some major changes last year, but we are back with some much needed soul cleansing confessions.
Speaker 1:Forgive me, father, for I brought notes on this bitch.
Speaker 2:This fucking sex pest is in charge of all these stories that get told on his massively popular network. And not only that, but he's getting paid a shit ton of money.
Speaker 1:Look, you had to pay your dues in Hollywood, but there's a difference between paying your dues and eating shit. And some amazing interviews with people making Hollywood a happier place.
Speaker 2:We have Liz Shalan Alper and Alex Rubin today from Pay Up Hollywood. We are so super excited to have you guys on the podcast. I'm sorry I'm laughing so hard. I just keep thinking like bless me, daddy. I don't know why.
Speaker 1:It's not that kind of podcast.
Speaker 2:We're also thrilled to announce two new members to our team AJ Thall, our editor, and some relation or other.
Speaker 1:He's my brother.
Speaker 2:Wow, that really surprises me. He's so cool.
Speaker 1:And keeping me from strangling my co-hosts, the founder of Green Envelope Grocery Aid and our new co-producer, Joelle Garfinkel.
Speaker 2:Yes, joelle, new episodes drop every other Thursday starting March 28. Be sure to subscribe on Apple Podcasts, spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1:And connect with us at FESSA Hollywood. Megan promises she'll do a better job of keeping up with our social media this year.
Speaker 2:She promised that.
Speaker 1:Or not. March 28, season three Hollywood Confession. We'll see you in the booth.
