Damond :

I what do we? Do we get enough of this this weekend? I mean, do we get enough? Did we get any of this this weekend? I'm just saying that we get enough of this. Look like we was gonna have a heart attack this weekend for any game that we may watch this weekend. I mean, yeah, I think this bag Similizes every game that we went through this weekend. It's similar as a whole lot. But you know, I'm here, I'm Damon, I'm with your boy, dk tree podcast man.

Damond :

We got a lot, a lot, a lot to get into this weekend because, um, we have some good games, we had some great games. We had nothing of one of a game and I'll get that in a little bit and then we just had some Shockers shockers, especially last night. It's special last night. But then we get shot to the sponsors, to you productions team, to see that it wins electrical and plumbing and DNA window tinning. Again, when's electrical and plumbing DNA window tin there in this area? If you want more information about them, I can give you information on them. But I thank you, I thank you, I thank you. Now I gotta bring my boy in. You know, he had a little random self DJ, welcome. You know, I didn't want to stop to say this was zero Tuesday but I said I'll save that. But I'll tell you just like this the bag breathing in the bag was, um, yeah, yeah, the hyperventilating, yeah it just the whole aura of the NFL this weekend. Yeah, yeah, how you doing sir.

T.J :

Oh, what am I doing? Oh, you know, uh, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, in case you miss Sunday night football and I don't blame you because, uh, it uh wasn't entertaining um, something happened during that game that I would like to be a teacher. To the students of the audience as watching this show and to the Philadelphia Eagles offense um, this is how you protect the football, so that way people don't try to Take it away from you and punch the ball out. You know, or you, you're not doing this that way, you just lose it. You know.

T.J :

So, throughout the duration of this show, I'm gonna actually do something. I, if I may. So I'm gonna do something that's never been done since we've, since we've done this, I Am starting off the show with three brown bags in my hand and they're all going to the Philadelphia Eagles playmakers and you know who I'm referring to your jail and hurts your AJ Browns and the Vontays Smith, because because of them, we now don't know how to keep the football in our hand. So, as a representation of what they are doing in practice right now, I'm just doing it in front of a camera. I'm gonna be holding on to a football all show long. So thank you, and hopefully this will teach them to take care of the football and not fumble it, because we blink one more time. They lost the football again. So that's what we got going on here. You may proceed.

Damond :

Oh, butterfingers Bob huh, you see what Kelsey said. Oh yeah, you know that, butterfingers Bob magic going on up there. Oh yeah, listen, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, I knew this was coming. I see you, bestie. I knew this was coming when I got the text about the game, so we might as well just start the show off witness and get this out the way right now. Yeah, absolutely.

Damond :

Yes, yeah, so let's just get this smoke out of the way right now. I Really don't know what to say. I just thought that that game would have been a lot more easier. What I mean by that? A lot more competitive. I thought it would have been back and forth. I thought the Eagles and Cowboys and some go down to the wires. But you know, with this whole new, here we go. Oh, I guess I don't know.

Damond :

I Jalen just didn't, he just didn't look himself. I was looking inside him like is there something wrong? Is he sick? Is it the play calling? It's something going on up there that we just don't see. And I'm just trying to figure it out.

Damond :

Because you don't get the fertile offer you and then lose to. You have a convincing lead in the NFC and the NFC and Now, all of a sudden, you down two games and you lose and you lose. It's not like it was close. It was like, okay, we're gonna shut you down, we're saying that you're a fraud and we're saying that we're gonna beat you. But I just kept looking inside. Every time they pan there, it's like I just don't want to be here. Yeah, that was just a problem for me.

Damond :

And Defense where was the defense? And I heard it in your rant and I kept saying, okay, where's the defense? But you know, I got to get on my favorite, favorite, favorite people, the rest, because they threw a whole bunch of laundry against the Eagles. I'm like I saw plenty of holding calls, plenty of holding calls. That was a get, that was against Filly defense, and no one was calling it. I was like what? Okay, what is going on here? Now, bestie, I see you talking about excuses, excuses. Now, listen, I'm not making excuses, I'm just telling you the way I saw the game as seeing fit, because they was throwing a whole bunch of laundry Against the Eagles but not throwing much laundry against. Oh, you ain't see shit. Okay, yeah, they was throwing. Can't use the rest? Oh, absolutely, I'm gonna use the rest. I mean, it doesn't excuse the play of the players, but I'm gonna use that because, again, that's what it was. So, the bestie, you see me, okay.

J B :

I saw that.

Damond :

Okay, hey, listen, I'm not taking nothing away from the butt kicking, I'm not. I'm not taking nothing away from it. I'm just saying that the refs played a little apart and that also it is with this now. Did they win? Yes, hands down. They won. Cowboys won hands down. No ifs, no ands, no busts. There's no excuses there. But I'm just saying that there was a whole bunch of laundry going against the Eagles.

T.J :

I am saying that Okay, all right, I appreciate your, your dearest sympathies, but I hate to be the bearer of bad news. It looks like I'm gonna have to be the guy to do it. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, what happened on Sunday night? Um Was, first of all, a Dallas team that was ready to play. That was prepared. That is completely rolling. Um, um, dak Prescott, people are putting them atop the MVP conversation.

T.J :

I'm not too sure about that. You know, brock Purdy may have something to say about that, lamar may have something to say about that, whatever, whatever, but that Was literally nothing. But the Eagles just not getting it right, no matter what situation it was. And and take the rest. This is, this is a thing. This is why I want to remain consistent, because take the rest out of it. Because I said it last week, I said it plenty times, for I'm going to say it again the reps are going to ref Name me a season where the rest called a great game for an entire season. Give me one. I Don't remember it. Okay, I've only been on this earth for 22 years and I know that even before then, the rest were making terrible calls. So take the rest out of it. Okay, philly as an offense, it's anemic. Right now it's starting to get Pittsburgh territory. That's how bad it is.

Damond :

Oh man, what's that? Wow, pittsburgh.

T.J :

Okay, because the play calling is not predicating to the situation at hand. What do I mean when I say that? Okay, you saw Dallas go right up and down the field and score in their first possession. All right, what does that tell Philly's offense to do? All right, if that's the case, we need to utilize what we haven't utilized all year. We just played Dallas, like three weeks ago. They have an idea of what we do at this point. So instead of us pass, pass, pass, check down, you need to have Start off with the running game. Like I've been saying, last week you didn't run the football.

T.J :

Okay, and the way the offense is being called right now is this getting to a point to where You're basically watching Philly say I'm putting the game in the hands of Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown and Devonte Smith and if they don't, if they're not making plays, the games are at. Well, I'm sorry and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you have to do this thing called coaching. You have to coach them, you have to scheme them open. How many times did we sit up there and we watch the Vonte Smith get practically into a hospital ball and Thankfully the Vonte was able to catch those, but he was deemed to be in between a line of three different Dallas defenders. And you're asking, you're basically telling me, the viewer, the fan, the guy that's watching this game, that it's up to the Vonte Smith to make that play? No, and I'm gonna call him out. Brian Johnson, it is your job To scheme them open. It is your job to dial up the script plays properly. What does the situation call for? Okay, look, our defense. But the thing is we know the defense has been gone awful all year. There's nothing new about that, nothing new. So when you saw Dallas scoring at first possession, you want to know what that would have told me. And yes, I'm starting to get in the madden row fast, so forgive me.

T.J :

Okay, look, they didn't take a whole lot of time off that clock, they went right down to score. All right, you know what? What we gonna do? We're gonna take our time, we're gonna run the football, we're gonna get a play out, we're going to hit AJ Brown in the middle. Okay, we're going to have some out routes, we're going to matriculate the ball downfield and we're going to take as much time as we need because the situation calls for it.

T.J :

Well, obviously, it's getting to a point now where the coaching is God awful. And now they're getting stubborn. Now because Nick Siriani had a press conference today and someone asked them if they were going to do something with the play calling abilities about taking it away from Brian Johnson. He said no, like seriously, it's showing on the field and the reason why I'm bringing up running the football is because why are we acting like the object slipped on average four yards per carry. Why? What are we doing? What are we doing? Jalen Hurts I love him. He does not look 100%. He also didn't look 100% last year, so that idea of him being completely healthy, we can throw that out the window too.

Damond :

Oh, absolutely, you can see it in his eyes, okay.

T.J :

You need to switch it up. Dallas saw y'all three weeks ago. They have an idea of who you are and what you do. The fact that we are waiting until third and five for you to finally run the football to be a shocker to the defense does absolutely nothing, and you only. The reason why I'm just stressing on the strip plays enough is because what you do on those first two drives determines how the game is going to go. I don't care what the score is or what it may look like. If the Eagles have put points on the board and they had a touchdown within the first two drives, it is more competitive. It doesn't guarantee us winning the game, but it's more competitive because you put points on the board. But no, you want to be conservative. And oh my God, can we stop with the wide receiver tight end screens? They're going absolutely nowhere, nowhere.

Damond :

Bad play calling all the way around, all the way around no, no, no, that was bad.

T.J :

Not even all the way around, because on the flip side oh, you thought I was going to leave the defense out of it, did you? The flip side? We're not leaving them out of it. The defensive play calling is actually spot on. If you actually watch on how there are setting up defensively, they're in great positions to make a play, but the secondary and the linebackers in particular are just not executing. They're missing tackles. They're not being physical. The corners aren't covering the safeties can't tackle, they're not no one's physical.

T.J :

On that back end and I said it last week and I'll say it again Do you understand how humiliating, how demoralizing it is to know that on every single play you step out there, if the front four doesn't obliterate or obsolete the quarterback, that is a guaranteed first down or guaranteed touchdown. That is a problem. And, believe it or not, that's not play calling, that is just strictly execution. So what does that mean? Going forward? Okay, well, oh well, you just played against a better team, maybe, maybe. I have no say. I have no say. I tell you all the time I'm a humble Eagles fan. I'm not one of those stubborn sickos that just believe that we're going to end up in the Super Bowl, like we don't see the garbage that's displaying on the field right now. No, the way that Dallas is playing right now is at a level where both sides of the football are dominating. It's not like, oh you know, the offense doing well, but the defense is struggling. No, the defense is getting turnovers. The defense is getting the opposite team off the field. The defense then turns around and puts points on the board and gets big play after big play after big play. That's what Dallas is doing right now. That's what San Francisco is doing right now. So did we deserve to ultimately win that game on Sunday night? Absolutely not.

T.J :

But the one trinket, I will say and this is not an excuse, this is the fact of life. Okay, this is now two weeks in a row where the team that the Eagles have faced has had a big play. Dallas has had extra days of rest. Dallas played last Thursday. They don't play until Sunday night. So now, not only do you have extra days, you have an extra couple of hours to your advantage. Okay, san Fran, the week before they played their previous Thursday Didn't play until 425. So you could argue that you had extra days.

T.J :

Philly is gasped, is fatigued, is tired, but even still, it is not an excuse for the lack of creativity offensively as a play calling standpoint. It is quite honestly embarrassing. I really don't know how you could say it's fixable, because we're this close to the end of the season and we're getting close to play off time. That's what makes the panic button raise just a little bit higher. But I do think we do get our share of rest when we go against Seattle, so that does help, although one may argue we may not do that great against Seattle, because the career track record against Seattle in Seattle is not all that great. So I'm not incredibly excited on what happens on Monday night, even though we got flex in that position. It may very well be the DK Metcalf show all over again, just like it was in 2019, I believe it was in the playoffs. Absolutely not, absolutely not.

Damond :

Hey, b, I see you. I see you're welcome. Hey, there is a link by YouTube Universe, both pages. There's a link out there. If you want to come in, you want to say your opinion, tap that link and it'll bring you on in here you can say what you need to say. Where's the cup? Oh yeah, we're going to need a lot of cups in here, don't we? They had a T everything. But again, my hope again when I just saw the defense wasn't stepping up and I told you I had a problem. When I saw that Buffalo game and I can go all the way to that one and Buffalo put up over 500 yards against the defense, I say that's not good, they need to fix something. So when they signed they signed a couple linebackers, right, and they signed a cornerbacker I said okay, it might be a little bit good. And I'm like, wait well, what the hell just happened? Because I don't see any improvement here. Where's the improvement? Where's the improvement? All right, hold on hold on JB. Welcome, sir.

J B :

After that shillacan, that's the golf you took. I was so worried for your co-host. That's why I hit you up just to figure out. Is he going to make it through the night? I have never seen a team of athletes play that poorly in a game against someone that we always bet on against. What do you got to say about that, brother?

T.J :

Look, I said it on the opening monologue and I'll say it again You're gas, we're fatigued. These are not excuses, these are the facts of life. The past two weeks, the opponents have had extra days of rest and, in regards to Dallas, you had not only the extra days of rest, but you had the extra couple hours to play. That is used to your advantage. I'm not taking that away. I'm also not taking away the greatness that's being displayed in Dallas right now.

T.J :

Say what you want about the all-it-is-the-same-old-dallas Cowboys. Oh no, you're not going to hear that from me. No, they're dominating on both sides of the football, and that should be within itself an alarming rate for the rest of the league, because it's not just, oh, it's Dak, and then the defense is bad. Or oh, the running game is great, but Dak is not being consistent on the football. Or the defense is great, but the offense can't get the ball past the 50-R line. No, they're dominating on both sides of the field, and that on top of the fact that Philly just can't get it right as a defense, they can't get it right as far as play calling is concerned on offense.

T.J :

It drives me insane, and I'm currently I know you see the light here and I know you see the light out here, but I am still in my Aaron Rodgers darkness retreat, so you're going to have to forgive me.

T.J :

Where's the cop at? I wasn't supposed to be out, there wasn't supposed to be any light, but I'm still in my darkness retreat and I want to still show up for the sake of the show. So that's my dedication. I want to show the flow that I want to critique my dedication to the show and to and yep, yep, see you keep drinking that up, you keep drinking that tea because I am going to, I'm going to still relish in this darkness retreat. I'm actually glad you brought up the cup, because the cup has some very strong ayahuasca. So I don't know how long I'm going to be in this retreat for, but I do know that trouble don't last always. We do get our fair share of rest when we go against Seattle on Monday night. That is encouraging. However, seeing what I have seen the past two weeks and pray practically all season long, we just been getting away with it because we were winning.

J B :

Okay.

T.J :

Has been nothing short of discouraging, nothing short of embarrassing. I said it before, I'll say it again the offense is getting close to Pittsburgh territory on office. That's how bad the play calling is, that's how bad the production is. And the defense? Have you seen Denver Broncos when they lost to Miami, like in week five, when they gave up 70 points? You saw that defense? Yeah, just bring that over to Philly, because that's what we got going on right now. There are a bunch of Matadors that's just like hey, come through, get to the end zone. We won't stop you, come on.

J B :

Come on Fire on me. It just seems like Vegas odds makers set us up something serious. This look televised, like I said last week, the WCW and the WWF, right. I mean, the storyline couldn't have been no better. I was like it's no way in heck that Philly and I don't usually like to gamble, but I was just like, oh, everything is looking up, we're looking amazing, everybody. And then Philly, let us down.

Damond :

And if you want a moment of silence for that. Do you want a moment of silence for that? Because that sounds like a moment of silence.

T.J :

Oh no, it's just bad decision making. You know not to trust us in that spot. Come on, all the games that you could have chose to bet on. You know not to trust us. You don't have to trust us, and I'm saying that as the Eagles fan. We did not deserve the luck of the draw, for those who betted on the Eagles to actually believe that we were going to pull it out for you guys.

T.J :

I apologize as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. I apologize, okay, but that put it so much stock into us. Okay, and you know what. You know what. Let me just. Let me just. Let me just add a little tidbit because I think it's very necessary. I started off the show with this. I'm going to do it again. If you blink one more time, I think the Eagles done fumbled the football again. So for the rest of the show, I'm going to teach them how to take care of the football and I hope that I'm doing a great job. Let me know in the comments section. Let me know, I hope, the things that I'm doing are great.

J B :

I hope the ball is a bag. Take the bag home. You know they need a bag for that one. I don't know man, look it's hard to cut this out.

T.J :

You know what I mean. I started off the show hyperventilating. Hyperventilating, that's all I said.

Damond :

We go hyperventilating because this weekend, this weekend, if you thought you knew anything about football, you didn't know nothing, because who won was shockers and who would lost. I was like, wait a minute, what who won? And hey, we go. Go to Monday Night Football in a few Miami losing to Tennessee.

J B :

I just felt like for the mind for the Monday Night game and I'm going to get off. And after this, that game showed matter of fact, both my, both Monday Night games showed that on any given Sunday, willie Beaman and the sharks was going to make it all the way to the. I mean that was just the most unauthorized game ever. The fastest team in the league wound up winning against a team that technically held their own through hard work and determination Like Miami Longers no absolutely not. Four minutes left for the game.

Damond :

Four minutes to Will Leviss. Will Leviss. Let me say this again Will Leviss.

T.J :

Hey, hey, hey. Let's not do that, Cause just a couple weeks ago we were talking about him being QB1 next year. Let's not do that now.

Damond :

I get it. I get it, but look who he had to throw to D-Hop.

T.J :

D-Hop.

Damond :

Hey, listen, D-Hop made it easy for him.

J B :

Easy for him. He put the most center of my chase.

Damond :

I'm open. I'm open, throw me the ball.

J B :

Throw me the ball I'm open.

Damond :

And he made Miami look sad. They sucked the air out of Miami last night. Miami was feelings was hurt last night when I mean hurt? That stadium was so quiet you could hear pin dropping there.

J B :

That last four minutes showed that you can't give up until that clock reads 0000.

Damond :

Oh, absolutely Cause the story line was everybody was headed to the bank.

J B :

We were. We was heading to send me my money and Vegas was like hold up that away.

Damond :

Yeah, look what we just did. Look what we just did. Miami, bye, bye, see you later.

J B :

And I was like this in front of the TV.

Damond :

How did that happen? All right, see you later. Oh, I was just like did they just march down the field and score a touchdown? Wait a minute, and not just to score a touchdown? Right, not just to score a touchdown. They got a two point conversion. A two point conversion, yep, then get the ball back. Now we can say oh to a slip on a couple plays the field. Okay, you're still a professional athlete, but did you notice and they've been talking about it all day long versus when Tyreek was in the game, versus when he was not in the game? Yeah, so you're telling me you're basing everything around Tyreek? Appreciate JB. Are you telling me that you're basing everything around Tyreek Hill, but if he's not in the game, we don't have a backup plan? No, that's a problem. That's a problem. I mean, mike McDonald has a good program down there. Don't get me wrong, he does. He just hasn't made it over the hump of beating winning teams. Now, you just lost to a team that didn't have a winning record.

T.J :

Well, here's my thing, though. Miami has shown you the past two seasons about who they truly are. They are a flashy, fast team that can march up and down the field whenever they feel like it, but when they go against a physical team, regardless of record, they don't match up well. We saw earlier this year when they played us and Philly. They couldn't match up with us well because we sat up there and we dominated them from a physical standpoint. They wasn't able to hit the quick slants or the run plays that guarantees them 15 yards. They wasn't able to do that against us. They wasn't able to do that against Tennessee last night.

T.J :

And so when you're going against a physical team, I kind of equated to like if Flash didn't necessarily have his powers and he was just strictly fast and he ran into a brick wall, do you really think he's going to break that brick wall? I don't think so. That's the difference between physicality and strength, and how fast you are and how much speed plays a factor, because when you go against that wall that hey look, I got this hand right here, you're not going past it, I'm just not going to let you get it it changes everything. And so when you're going against Tennessee, when you're going against Baltimore, when you're going to get San Fran, when you're going against Dallas, when you're going against these teams that are dominant physically, you're not supposed to be getting away with touchdowns here, touchdowns there. It's not that easy, and I feel like Miami's shown us that the past two years. It's nothing new, it just sucks because it's like Tyree kill leaves the game. Now, all of a sudden, there's there's no second pitch. There's nothing there for Miami, which you would have thought it was the running game, given how dominant it was earlier this season and as the season progressed. No, like they don't have a second pitch once Tyree kill is out.

T.J :

And I get it, because Tyree kill is such a difference maker when he's on the field, even with him not getting the ball, the fact that he can create so much space for other guys to be effective, that is a winning play within itself. So I get it. But it's like for McDaniel, it's like he hasn't. I don't think he trusts the running game. I don't think he trusts to all the way yet to be like you know what? Hey, it don't matter who's out there, we're still gonna be fine. Which, mind you, they still have Jalen Waddle on the field too.

Damond :

I was gonna bring that up. So still never a shifty speedy receiver, so yeah, I mean, it's not like you lost all weaponry.

T.J :

Once Tyree kills off the field, he's a large percentage of it, absolutely, but to say that there's no one else. There's no Devon HH and there's no Raheem Mosturt, there's no Jalen Waddle on your offense, come on, help me out here. What are we doing? So it's a Miami thing. I ain't gonna be totally concerned, though, because, well, actually my bad I am, because now everybody besides there, I believe it's a right tackle that is either out for a year or out for a large stretch of games, like they're off the line.

Damond :

He's out for the game AC O'Tare AC O'Tare, he out.

T.J :

So their offensive line is destroyed. So how they're able if they're able to even remotely get to the playoffs which I do think that they do whoever they go up against, they might have them get eliminated just off of their offensive line alone. That is what concerns me, because there's no one left. There's no one left, everyone's part of that offensive line.

Damond :

Remember they still got Buffalo again and Buffalo's coming strong, but they got us too. So that's two games. That's gonna be a dogfight. That's gonna be a dogfight. It's gonna be a dogfight, but the one, like I said, the takeaway, like I said, and what JB said four minutes, that eight, if it's one minute on that clock, that's too much time. Or, as Kansas City taught us, 13 seconds is too long too. As Kansas City taught us, 13 seconds is too long. Okay, listen, you need all zeroes on that clock. And that brings me to us, because I definitely got to rep the home team on this Absolutely.

Damond :

That brings me to us. Now I understand how some of my friends they was like dude, I don't like games like that, because I was about to have a heart attack, I was about to have this. You know, the Ravens were stressing me out and this and that versus me. And I'm saying I love games like that because that means me. My team went out there and they played lights out all the way to the end, all the way to the end. It wasn't, they was just there for show or whatever. You went down the field, we went down the field, okay. You went back down the field. Okay, we went back down the field, okay, we're going to one up. You, matthew Stafford, oh, you want. Could you think you were coming to Baltimore and beat us on our turf? No, it ain't going to happen.

Damond :

Now, when we got to that third and 16th play, I was like, oh, this ain't looking good for us, this ain't looking good. And who he throw the ball to? Because now Lamar has found his new favorite target and, as you show, with Andrews being out, it really hasn't been any type of strain for him. I'm going to find someone else. Someone else is going to step up. Yeah, zay flowers. Zay flowers is a beast, a beast, a beast. Corner touchdown yes, all right, let's go. What Matthew Stafford do? Go right back down the field. I'm like man, this ain't the Detroit Matthew Stafford that came in. No, but the game here today? Okay, no problem, we go back and forth up and down the field. Then, bam, we get no overtime. I saw there. We go, what they say tails Ravens win the toss. All right, baby, all we got is mashed down the field and zone in this game. Three and out. I said you got to be kidding me. Three and out, you got to be kidding me. Come on out, run the damn ball. We all, we run it. All right, you know, we all yelling at the TV screen and whatever. And then, like I said at the beginning of the show, I had to bag, because now I'm hyperventilating, you know hyperventilating over here. I said, okay, all right, no problem, defense, y'all going to do your thing. Bam, defense comes down. Matthew passed that ball over the middle Tighten and drops the damn ball. Yes, Indeed, yeah, okay, we get the ball back down the field.

Damond :

A is a punt, okay, duvenay's out, right, what was my name? Wallace Kitch is the ball? Okay, then we go down to the side. Oh, let me spin out of this tackle. Oh, let me run down the side. I'm like, oh, oh, oh, oh, one more person to beat. Oh, this game is over. Touchdown Walk off. Yeah, man, let me tell you that was the best celebration in the rain I think I ever did, cause I was driving that time. I stopped the car jumping. I was jumping up and down on the side of the roof Because the simple fact that my Ravens pulled it out, all the Ravens nation pulled it out, and that just showed the NFL, because their whole tune has changed now with the Ravens.

Damond :

Talk about oh, now Ravens are the best team in the AFC, cause at first, oh no, I don't think the Ravens is this. I don't think the Ravens is that. Oh, now, everybody changing course. Right now, as it stands, the Ravens are the best team in the AFC. Now, as we've been seeing week to week around here, you don't know what the hell is going to happen with any of these games, but you know it's one game to circle on my calendar and that's in two weeks. Two weeks and HC if you're still in here, it's the 49ers, and Shannon Sharpe said today that that may be a prelude to the Super Bowl.

Damond :

Maybe I'm not calling it a duck. We take it one game at a time. We take it one game at a time, but that's going to be the game of the entire season between us two, to see who it is who it is. Is Brock Purdy really that good? Is their defense really that good? Because, if you've been noticed, the mall has been making people look stupid. Yeah, and guess who didn't get a sack on him this Sunday? Aaron Donald man.

Damond :

Hey, and he had him in his clutch and Aaron Donald was like he's the only quarterback I haven't sat.

T.J :

The oh, did you see the clip of him getting triple team? Hey, can you imagine, as a fan Watching Aaron Donald sat Lamar Jackson while getting triple teams? Yeah, like, how would you handle that? I know you wouldn't handle that the same.

Damond :

I know you would handle it all, cuz I'm like this is one man, y'all know this one man come through this brick wall, but hey, hey, remember the brick wall in house. You would just had one man just came to a brick wall and sacked our quarterback and Aaron Donald had him in his hands and you can see the disappointment his face. Like I, I didn't get him. I didn't get him. Lamar, make these, lamar, make these people just look Stupid, just like no, you go that way, I'm going this way. Okay, no balls gone. Sir, I'm back record. It's to play against Lamar.

Damond :

Now I see why some of these coaches have headaches trying to game for him because, remember, at first it was always stacked the boxes. All he's gonna do is run. Now he's standing back there passing D. What's happening, sir? Yeah, he's standing back there passing and if he don't find them, okay, I'll just run it. It breaks your back, especially if you got everybody locked up. You can't game for him and he's the game changer in every game. We done been in Every game we don't been in. He's even broke someone's back and, like I said, if that would have been a game that stressed you out, that's the game that stressed you out, because that one went up and down the field regardless of what even defense did. The offenses were going up and down the field on each other.

Damond :

It's like no matter if you can do, I can do better. No, you can't. Yes, I can't know you.

Damond :

Yeah, yeah, whole commercial and it's just so happened, the Ravens won that one and that. Whoo. Yeah, I can understand my Ravens nation when they, like man, that game stressed me out. I get it. I get it. But guess what? We get the sip a little bit of tea and Kool-Aid, because now we got to go down in Jacksonville on Sunday night so we got to do it again. Yes, it was closed. D it's very, very close, and you know.

T.J :

Lamar Lamar right now when you watch him, everybody thought that because he was he's been dealing with with nagging injuries the past couple years that he was gonna slow down.

Damond :

You money, money, money, injuries, money oh.

T.J :

Oh, oh, oh, hey, you said that, not me. Okay, lamar Everybody was talking about. Okay, these injuries are gonna, they're gonna, add up. Lamar is gonna get slower. Is it just me, or does Lamar seem faster, faster than he did when he won MVP in 2019. He seems just as fast. Every time I see him escape the pocket, I'm like, whoever is right next to him, it's not going to bring them down. They're not. He's just that fast. He's not. He's not one of those. Oh, ah, ah, no, he's one of those.

T.J :

Look, man, I'm gonna just get past you. You let me know how you want to fall, but just know that you're not bringing me down. So you just let me know how you want to transpire. You want to, you want to, you want to act like you, diving over me, you know, trying to get up to me. Do you want to like, try to like slide and try to get up to my knee? Like how you want to do this? Because, either way, you're not bringing me down, because out of a, I'm gonna just run right past you or be, I'm just, I'm a baby hurdle you like, I'm like, you're gonna find yourself being underneath me and I'm just gonna. You know, hey, yeah, who's that like? That's just what Lamar is doing right now and what.

T.J :

What is also untapped is his ability to use that as a weapon of his own, because every option, every play action is not the same. When Lamar Takes that ball back out of that option or out of that play action play, it is not a guaranteed read option, it's not a guaranteed RPL. Oh no, he gets that ball and you still need to figure out what the play is going to be, because there's motion over here. Back comes, moving on this side, zade flowers moving to the other side, running, running backs going here when the running backs going there, and then when the play actually develops, someone's open in the middle, someone's open on the side or someone's open deep on the left, like Odell was like there. There's like, like we was like. There is no way you can tell me that you can game plan for that properly, because there's no way that you can scheme yourself up anything better than that. I actually think the way the Rams played defense against Lamar was a pretty solid job. Even though they gave up the points, they did the very best they could and it did not matter.

T.J :

So at this point, if You're going to get both more. What do you do? You sit upstairs and say, hey, you know we're gonna let Lamar beat us with his arm Okay, he already has. Okay, lamar is gonna be to. You know we're gonna have Lamar beat us with his legs he already has. Uh, you know we're gonna let the running game be. You know we're gonna let that dictate the case. He's, lamar is not gonna get, not, not gonna get a whole lot of carries. Okay, we're just gonna give it a key to Mitchell. We're gonna give it to Gus Edwards, like they already done that. Like, okay, you know, we're gonna take Odell off the picture. So, you know, we're gonna, we're gonna hit it to. You know we're gonna make sure that Odell doesn't get involved. Oh, you know what? Yeah, never mind, we're just gonna say flowers, that's fine.

Damond :

Oh, oh you know, I see you.

T.J :

We're gonna take the flowers on the way. That's cool. Fine, we'll just find out. They are likely like they have an answer for everything and no play is the same. So shout out to Todd Monkken and what he's doing play calling wise, because that is the difference between great and and being the best. I think what he's doing as a play caller scheming these guys open and making sure that every play Leads you and suspense is fantastic. I haven't seen anything like that since Not not since, but at the rate of Kyle Shanahan and Sam Fran, maybe Like it like who do you, who do you check? Who do you take away? They all could dominate you at any given time. That's just how. That's just how well they're playing right now, and it doesn't seem to matter what your best defense is, what's the best packages, it doesn't matter.

Damond :

They have everything. The Ravens, that's just okay, you got one, we got one. Better, especially when they start pulling people and the line goes one way and everybody else going another way, I said what the hell's going on here? I Never seen anything like it. I'm like this is the best and I've said this since Baltimore's been here this is the best offense we have had in Baltimore's history ever.

Damond :

Now, if you want to go and say, okay, when flacko was here, when he went through the playoffs, you know he went 11 touchdowns, no interceptions, yeah, whatever, okay, I mean you get props, props, do right. But when you want to go from a Play calling standpoint I'm talking about through the season and running this is the best offense we have ever had, ever with a quarterback, I mean you want, you want to talk about some quarterbacks that we had in the past. You want to talk about some quarterbacks we had the past. Yeah, yeah, ever that we have ever right. And you know Baltimore just didn't want to seem to at first Get with the times, get with the elevation. Now they said, okay, we understand, we always been run first, but we need to stop pushing this ball down the field. We need, we need, we need to get better because the game is getting faster and it's evolving and you got these kids coming out of college and they're hungry. So what you think they want to do, make a statement. Right, they have to make a statement. So we had to come out and we had to evolve to it and now, like I said, this is proving a true test, with Andrews being out because will a mossy and that's my guy, that's my guy, you know me and him came together, that's my guy. And now the mall has some hands in that. He said oh, they flowers, get them. They fly was, get them. And what the Baltimore do? They got.

Damond :

They was listening to him because Lamar keeps up with the South Florida athletes. Yeah, he's up with him. He did hey, hey, get this guy, get this guy. Okay, we're gonna give you these weapons, okay, we're gonna give you this. And since Todd Muckin and Greg who great Greg who, oh, yeah, let's get that got him out of here Todd Muckins came in here and said Lamar, okay, I'm gonna give you the play, but I'm gonna give you the keys. Okay, you run that offense.

Damond :

And as you notice these defenses, now they ain't out here saying we know what the play is because Lamar is changing the play. Yeah, cuz remember they used to say, oh, we know what he's calling because we know the place, we know what he's calling. So we got Not. Now, cuz Tom Muggins is just like okay, yeah, we got you, we got you. Okay, all right, hey, play 38. All right, hey, play 38.

Damond :

He went out of play 38. Okay, oh no, we're gonna play 15. Now what the hell is play 15? Oh, so D said yeah, I think Mark can be back. I think he might make it back for the playoffs, because if they're going for a push ages, never know. But, like I said, I say a likely has really stepped up for him because, like we saw in the game, how do these people get that wide open? How'd you? Just, how do you miss somebody to six, seven, I'm sorry to feel, game, I'm just saying scheme, yeah. And then what? Oh, they'll Double move gone Linty, he didn't run the end zone, slid knees over. How do you, how do these people get this wide open? Come on now scheme. Come on.

Damond :

So Baltimore, something special. I Love every bit of that game. We came out on top. Yes, we get some much needed rest. Guess what Sunday night football. We coming Jacksonville, we coming, we coming big time and we coming to get you to slack it Like Cleveland did, cuz Joe flacko sure did put it on. Let me say this again Joe flacko Beat the Jackson fifth Now to beat, to beat. To be honest, to be on, to be fair, I mean, joe, get coming with a halfway decent defense, right, cuz Cleveland has a halfway deep defense. Okay, give him that. He's got a bad boy over there running back. He got somebody, what's his name?

T.J :

Oh.

Damond :

Don't matter, he won the game. They won the game.

T.J :

You. You want to know why they won the game. First of all, let me just say this If Kevin Stepansky is not in the conversation for coach of the year, what are you doing? I mean, you're on your four string quarterback and doing what you're doing right now, with Joe flacko off the the couch.

Damond :

What again? I want to say this again for everybody listening Joe flacko.

T.J :

Joe freaking flacko, all right and like, by the way, that again Joe flacko Wouldn't wouldn't been any, wouldn't been able to do what he did without Kevin Stepansky scheming those guys open, cuz he was falling it all over the place like it was backyard football, what it made no sense. And of course, you already have a top 10 defense. You already have a top 10 defense which, by the way, scored most of their points. How many times do you see a defense that set up there? That's it up there and do that consistently. They will consistently give you a club sound or a block field goal or something silly. It always happens. In Cleveland they did it again.

Damond :

You see this question. If we had to see the Browns again with flacko, do you think we lose? I never been there against the Ravens. I never bet against Ravens, sorry, oh, we would be, we'd be the member. Flacco isn't mobile. He's not mobile. Oh, you gotta just collapse that pocket flacko, going down it.

T.J :

You know what, though? It will be close.

Damond :

I Wouldn't be a blowout. It would definitely be a defensive game.

T.J :

Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Damond :

I don't think it's gonna be like that.

T.J :

I don't think it's gonna be like the the Rams and Ravens this past Sunday, where this place, all over the place. I'm not gonna say that, but Could could I make the argument that it could be close if they were to play each other?

Damond :

absolutely, oh yeah, they're gonna get a playoff spot. They're gonna get a playoff spot, oh yeah they're gonna get a playoff spot. They deserve it.

T.J :

They better get it.

Damond :

They're gonna get a playoff spot. So the thing I mean, like I said with each conference, you just don't know what it's like I said after last night I was just like this whole week I was like, yeah, man, you just don't know who's gonna do what I mean we're not gonna even talk about, I'm gonna just pass this one by really, really fast. We're not gonna talk about Minnesota and radius. We didn't go talk about that. I feel gold won the game, that's it. I feel go, yeah, that's all we need to know. We're the past that one by really, really fast. Okay, even with the Giants last night coming back beating Green Bay bro and I was like what was?

Damond :

I Was like, wow, I have watching both games, like what is going on. But you see, that tells you when to one team is just determined, like okay, we're gonna play a hot stuff, we have nothing to lose, we're gonna play our hearts out. And the Giants played their hearts out and that's what they were doing up there.

T.J :

Call me cutlets baby.

Damond :

The kisses and the stands. That was just hilarious. Okay, my man on the sidelines on his phone, the agent, hey, hey, you better put the stock up, you better put the stock up, you better put this stock up in. My man Told you don't bet against us. Don't bet against us.

Damond :

Who would have gained the odds of New York winning the game? No, no, not all, not all the shockers that was going on over here. But you know, I tell you who I haven't seen in here at all and oh, and you know, and they always just don't show up for some reason. Where my Pittsburgh fans at yeah, that's what I thought, cricket in here, now you're not. You don't lose but one game. Then you go to Thursday night football and lose another game. I Never what you put in the hood. Oh, and you know, my thing with this is I said this and people, they see my pose and all that. Yeah, crickets, yeah, because that's what they are a bunch of crickets right now. Um, what, where you at Pittsburgh? Um, what's going on up there in Pittsburgh? Y'all losing the uncle Bill and what? Listen? But here's the part that just pains me they still in a playoff spot. What in the world? They still in a playoff spot. Oh I, for the life of me, for the life of me, I can't understand this. I can't understand this.

Damond :

We are predicting Super Bowl as the way this going on right now as it stand. Right now it looks like Baltimore and If we're gonna say the strongest team in the NFC, let's say I might give it the toss up their frisco or Dallas, the strongest teams in the NFC as it stand, because, you know, next week it could change and they be like nope, this team going, nope, that team going. You know something? This is what I've been found out with these predictions I've been doing every week. I don't know nothing. Okay, this is a strong team, this, this and that, but then you got these teams and I don't know if you mean one, come trap games anymore. It's like no, you just not gonna come down here, Just gonna have your way with us. We're gonna beat you playing simple.

Damond :

Chicago. Thank you beating Detroit Bro what the Troy?

T.J :

What the hell happening? What is going on? What is going on.

Damond :

Answer me that Detroit let me down on Thanksgiving. Detroit let me down Thanksgiving. I'm like they get they, they got it for Thanksgiving. We good, yeah, I said I'm riding with Detroit on this one. Y'all lose, lose, the green Bay lose. Then you let Justin Fields, justin Fields and the Bears Beat you. Man, beat you and beat you convincingly it wasn't like it was close no, decently convincingly. Detroit, just let me down. Detroit, I say it, let me down. So what does my man, the coach, says? He says I think I need to be a little bit more hard on them. So that's, daddy said I need, I need to be a little bit more hard on them. We replays hard with them, little boys.

T.J :

Boy. Oh, you know what, kelsey, all right, All right, we've, we've, we've, we've we get the Kansas City yet.

Damond :

We get the Kansas City yet.

T.J :

Okay, um. So question y'all was that all sides wink, wink twice?

Damond :

Like off sides, anyone off sides. You want to defensive side of the ball? I'm just asking.

T.J :

I cannot believe that that is an honest Conversation, an honest conversation. Every Stevie Wonder saw him off sides, okay the international space station saw him off sides. Okay.

Damond :

Why are you upset? What? What are you upset for?

T.J :

He was off sides clearly you know what, can I put some context behind it, because I didn't even think about this. So I was watching the rich Eisen show, right, and he was talking about the game and he said he mentioned something that I totally did not think about. He said so uh, how does the field came city and at first I was like what do you mean? He was like it feels a little off being in a, in a spot where you know that the ref should have let it go but it didn't let it go. Right, kind of reminds you of the Super Bowl, right, when you know they couldn't let go of the passing affairs but they decided to call it and it worked in your favor. Well, they could have let go that off the off sides, but you know it was off sides, so they called it and cost rather games. And when he said that it was like Huh, so I don't feel good on the other side the spectrum does it.

Damond :

Wait a minute. Rich I was throwing some shade, wait a minute, but but his point.

T.J :

His point was was number one. We're having a conversation about something that was blatant, at least in the Super Bowl. It was like dog, literally Everybody's been holding on game long, absolutely, but they decided to call it at that moment in the game. Like that's what the conversation was. This game, everybody knew he was off side. Everybody knew he was off side and there's supposed to be some sort of debate as if, like that wasn't the case. His entire cleat was over the football.

Damond :

Yeah, his entire foot was over the line of scrimmage. What, what are?

T.J :

we doing? What are we doing? Like, and you know what, it's Cadarius. Tony Fall over again and I saw meme. I saw meme and I wasn't going to bring it up, but since you know, everybody's been taking jabs and I'm talking about Kansas City fans in particular I've been taking a lot of jabs I've been in the past couple of weeks. It was a meme that was like the record the chiefs would have if, literally, tony was not on the team. They would be number one in the AMC Probably.

Damond :

They probably would.

T.J :

I'm like they probably would I had to look at it I was like huh, you know what that might be honest, I'm Tony. Has been a part of three separate games where they could have easily won but because of him alone costed them, costed them what in the world?

Damond :

Listen, listen. And I was like, and don't look like everything going through our head this year.

T.J :

So, by the way, we did our part, so we go.

Damond :

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we did, because we came to Kansas City Press, we gave you a city press. We did our job. Sorry, sorry.

T.J :

I had to put the script out there. I had to put the script out there, sorry you know what I mean.

Damond :

We did our job. So Casey Casey looks like they might be on the road. Let me see ball Tony up and throw him away.

T.J :

Hey, hey look, hey look man he might be. He might be dominating in China, you know, with Zach Wilson next year. So be careful with that.

Damond :

Yeah, yeah, absolutely, absolutely, absolutely, all right. Who we miss? Who we miss? Who do we miss? I don't have my sheet in front of me. Who do we miss Any Pittsburgh fans in here? Yeah, I want to give y'all y'all shine my bad. That's all right, that's shade, I'm sorry. I definitely want to give y'all a whole bunch of see Dang show up this week. No, no, I'm here, not one of my here, not one. And usually they're in the comments. I see when they pop in. No, no, not one. And you know a lot of them was like. You know, this is just embarrassing. I don't want to end. You know, I'm not even calling anybody out this week. But all the Pittsburgh if you're listening to me, y'all better get together up there. Y'all better get it.

T.J :

And y'all can say the game is cold. Can I say the vision for this one? No, come on. How about Jake freaking Browning and the Cincinnati Bengals? What in the hell is going on in Ohio right now? Because everybody's running up there, jake.

Damond :

Browning Jake.

T.J :

Brown. It's turning cold apart, like it was Joe Burrow out there and it wasn't particularly close.

Damond :

No, what 34-14? Yeah.

T.J :

Oh my mercy, Could they make it? Hey, I'm telling you right now, if the Bengals, the Sprite their conference record, which is not great, and despite their division record, which is not great, if they find a way to squeak into the playoffs, I don't care how it goes off in a playoff game, it's already a success for me, because they're not supposed to do a single thing with Joe Burrow being out. Not a single thing.

Damond :

Oh no, absolutely not, and they definitely ain't supposed to be scoring 34 points on a team. What? No, hey. But as we saw, it's like they're coming in and people are like, look, I'm taking my opportunity, I'm taking my moment, I'm showing my worth Because, hey, if I don't get to stay here, at least someone saw this performance and I'm going to go someplace else.

J B :

Yep, I'm going to go someplace else.

Damond :

So, listen, senti, congrats. I mean woo, I'm glad we ain't got to play them no more. Yeah, I'm glad we ain't got to play them no more, but hey, you just never know. Just never know, because when it comes down to once-in-the-playoff starts, ugh man, teams play differently, much more aggressive. You know, hey, look, we fighting for spots here, we trying to get that something that some teams and some people have never had a Super Bowl. And we still got five teams. They ain't never won a Super Bowl. Five, something like that. Yeah, five, yep, yeah, has never won a Super Bowl. So that's their goal getting to the Super Bowl. Who else did I miss? Who else did I miss? Like I said, I missed my clipboard.

T.J :

Hey, hey. I just want to say rest in peace to the Los Angeles Chargers and Brandon Staley, because after the news that Justin Herbert is out for the year with his broken finger on his throwing hand, just rest in peace. Brandon Staley should have been fired at the beginning of the year, but they decided to, I guess, see how bad it can get. So there's that, and now Justin Herbert is out for the year. So congratulations, but not congratulations, because now, believe it or not, the Denver Broncos are one game back from the Kansas City Chiefs. What is going on? I am lost for words. The Denver Broncos I'm going to say it again, maybe if I say it slowly. Maybe if I say it slowly, I'll believe it more but Denver Broncos are a game behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. No, I can't believe it. I got nothing.

Damond :

I got nothing. I got nothing I got nothing. Yeah, I got nothing because, remember, this was the same team that Miami put 70 points up on. All of a sudden, they have completely turned it around, completely turned it around, and now they just marching back and could possibly get a playoff spot.

T.J :

Man, I don't even know what to say. That's coaching. That's coaching, right there, sean Payton, bro, man hey.

Damond :

I had to give it to him. I had to give it to him. Hey, punty, punty, punty, I got to give it to him. Listen, listen, I'm just lost for words. The Denver is marching back, like this, marching back. And remember, now I'm going to get on the Cowboys here just for a second, because they got. I don't want them to take Buffalo lightly.

J B :

They better not take Buffalo lightly.

Damond :

They did not take Buffalo lightly. Not this, and they got to go to Buffalo. And here's the thing I don't know what the weather is going to be, but if it's cold up there in any way, Dallas going to have a rough time. Dallas going to have a rough time. Remember, these teams are playing these domes and you got to go to extreme cold weather. You play differently.

T.J :

Hey, let me just just take the weather out of it. Can we just acknowledge that Josh Allen is playing out of his mind all over again?

Damond :

But wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Before you even start that, what did he do in the game against Kansas City? He threw in the section he did. He won the game and I said, oh, game over, he's going to lose. He threw in the section. But they end up winning. And Kelsey, he was clearly off sides. Oh yeah, All right, go ahead yeah.

T.J :

I didn't know if I was breaking news or not, but you know, I don't know, I don't know how far you have to be off of the line of scrimmage for it to be a debate that it was offside, like it was clear that you were not on the same side of the football before the play started with the rest of your team, you were offside.

T.J :

That shouldn't even be a conversation. But Josh Allen right now is playing like out of his mind and it literally makes no sense. And I got to say, like, is this all they needed? They needed to get rid of their office of coordinator, because now, all of a sudden, they're playing like it's 2021 all over again. I don't know.

Damond :

So it's the Matt Canada effect. We're going to call it the Matt Canada effect. Yes.

T.J :

Like it makes no sense, Josh Allen, you can't bring Josh Allen down. He's starting to get more and more accurate as these games coming along. The defense is playing well, like the running game is starting to be a thing. James Cook is starting to get that rock a little bit more. He's starting to get some first downs over there in Buffalo. So look, let me tell you something Y'all keep adding, like Buffalo anything. Y'all keep playing that game if y'all want to. Josh Allen going.

Damond :

Listen, listen, listen, listen. It's going to be a good game. It's going to be a good game. I'm looking forward to it. Listen, we got what? Thursday night football, three Saturday games, then the Sunday game. Man, this is just going to be a. Yeah, I am waiting for this. I am waiting for this and, like I said, I'm looking forward to it, looking forward to it. So, again, a bring all the smoke, bring your teams, bring everything, because we are getting to play all football. We are four weeks away. We'll play all football. And man, like I said, with these predictions, I just don't know what I'm talking about. I'm picking, then the other teams win. I'm like, what's going on here? I don't know who to pick anymore. Now I'll figure it out.

T.J :

You might start having a little drink, james. You ever thought about that, you know? Maybe, yeah, probably am. You know you're putting the team out there that's guaranteed to win and you know because it's you. You know you mess around and cause the other direction to transpire.

Damond :

Yeah, miami. Oh, my bad, that's Detroit. Yeah, detroit. Yeah yeah yeah. And I didn't bet none of the stealers game. I don't have no faith for them anymore. And again, I can't understand how you lose two games and you're still in the playoffs. Two games back to back, you're still in the playoffs.

T.J :

Hey, not just y'all losing two games, y'all lost two games to two teams that were two and two.

Damond :

Now that, now that, yeah, yeah, and none of them are in here to take any of this. None of them are in here to take any of this. That's okay. Guess what? It's about to be out in the stratosphere. Oh yeah, about to be out in the stratosphere. I'm sitting out there, everybody, okay.

T.J :

Absolutely as you should.

Damond :

Why are you shaking your head? There's no reason to shake your head. This is the Shady McGready show. Shady McGready show. The Shady McGready show. We gonna throw some shade up in here. I'm gonna throw plenty of shade. Okay, we'll lose a draw. I'm gonna steal those some shades, okay.

Damond :

Now, like I said, the Ravens may have stressed us out Okay, stressed us out this weekend they probably did, but the Ravens pulled it out. But I even wouldn't have been mad at the Lost because of the simple fact they didn't lay down for them. They did not lay down for LA and listen. La had to travel across country. You can give them that fact that they might have been tired, but you can tell they were tired the way they were playing. Nope, nope. And Matthew Stafford not looking like the Detroit Matthew Stafford, he was looking like the.

Damond :

LA, matthew Stafford, you gotta get props for props. La came in here with a game plan. They gave the best plan possible. We just ended up winning. That's all it was. That's all it was.

Damond :

And for everybody's team that won, congratulations. Your team didn't win, get it together. You know that's what I say. And on that note, on that note, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding ding. We gonna give out some brown bags. We gonna give out some brown bags.

Damond :

And I'm gonna start with the first one Raiders and Vikings who paid money to see that goddamn game? Okay, all right, if anyone paid money, get that. Get your damn refund back. I'm talking about all the fans that went there, anybody that traveled. Get your airlines ticket back, anyone. That game should never been televised on TV whatsoever. That should have just been a dark game, blacked out. You know how? They had black out dates for flights. They had black out dates for that game, because that didn't make any sense, that only three points were scored and Minnesota ended up winning the game with the Vikings. Nobody wanted to see that. No one wants to see that at all. Now, for all you Vikings fans oh, we won, and this that no, let you get brown bags too, for even agreeing with that game that was even being played. So that is my tandem and my first set of brown bags.

T.J :

Oh, my goodness, this is great. This is off to a great start already. Well, I've already made this very, very clear. When I started off the show, I did something that has never been done on the history of the DK and Tree podcast. But I'm going to do it on the flip side of things. As we are winding to a close pretty soon, my first brown bag actually goes to three separate people, and I know I have three different brown bags, so I'll make sure I clip them up together on purpose. Aj Brown, jalen Hertz, devonte Smith Y'all get a brown bag for not doing what I am doing right now, which is holding on to the football, keeping the ball in your hands, so that way the other team doesn't pick it up.

T.J :

Brown bags for the Butterfingers. That transpired in Dallas, texas, between not just anybody but your top playmakers. So I hope that throughout the duration of this show, that y'all have a great lesson learned on how to take care of the football. I'd like to thank Mr Davis. I did a pretty great job on how to take care of the football. I haven't had it fumbled. I've done a pretty great job. So I hope that this lesson has been made very clear to Philly that it is not legal to take care of the football. Good things happen. When you take care of the football and you don't fumble it, good things actually do happen. So brown bags for the three of y'all, because, mike Jotted, y'all don't fumble the football, it might be a different story.

Damond :

Next, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, I got this one. I love this one. Oh yeah, this brown bag. You're going to love this one because, again, you know, when you start having meltdowns on TV, remember you're supposed to be a professional and you have a meltdown on TV. I mean you're making a half a billion dollars in a contract. Patrick Mahomes, you're definitely getting a brown bag for that meltdown on the sideline trying to go after the referee. Because, again, just because you look like a spoiled kid that was on the sideline and he didn't get his way that's what he looked like on the sideline, slamming his helmet down, people holding him back yes, mahome Boy, you get the brown bag. Because again, that was, and if I was a rep, I would have threw an unsportsmanlike conduct flag on you. Oh whoa.

T.J :

You want to break the internet. That's what you want to do? Oh yeah, absolutely.

Damond :

Unsportsmanlike conduct. And then, oh and then he wants to get up there and do damage control in his press conference. I don't want to say it was a game, but a game in this magnitude and this net oh, I love this comment coming in. He's human, yes, he is. He's human. Yep, and Buffalo just had your kryptonite. So get over it. A Buffalo beat you and you're a house. Whose fault? Is it your fault? So you get a brown bag for that meltdown, and, andy Reed, you get one too for trying to take up form. So y'all get the bundle, the most valuable bundle. And hey, hey, jake from State Farm, I need you to put a logo on that brown bag and give it to him at the same time too.

T.J :

So oh yes, sir, that's good. I'm sorry, I'm sorry my baby football over here is getting a little cranky right now, so I'm going to try to be as tender as I possibly can be. My second brown bag is going to go to hmm, this one's going to be interesting.

Damond :

Are you ready for this?

T.J :

one. You ready for this one? The Houston Texans and the New York Jets get a brown bag. You want to know why? You want to know why. I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry you had to deal with this. This has been a very interesting show. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. You go on a halftime and the halftime score is zero, zero. I looked at that notification on my phone and was like this is a typo. This has got to be a typo. This has got to be a typo. Zero, zero. Cj Stroud gets hurt, zach Wilson plays out of his mind. Zach Wilson gets three touchdowns. The Jets got eight touchdowns. The Jets won. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Damond :

You forgot the 300 plus yards. You forgot the 300 plus yards, zach.

T.J :

Wilson got 300 yards. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You and I and everybody and their grandmother knows that's not supposed to happen. Everything I just said was not supposed to happen, and I'm not all for the scripted plays, but let me tell you something right now. We needed, we wanted Houston to win that game and we didn't get that. And it started off at zero. Zero at halftime. Really, man, both of y'all getting a brown bag. Y'all don't deserve that. No one should have won that game. Should have ended the draw. It's terrible.

Damond :

I was just shocked that the Jets beat them like that I was. I said, wait a minute, the Jets just beat the Texans. Wait what the Jets? At first they up they. What happened to CJ? Then when I heard he got hurt, I said oh.

T.J :

Man.

Damond :

Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable. Oh, I didn't talk about this. I'm gonna give him some shine real fast. The 49ers, the 49ers, okay, clipped up on Seattle, the Gino-less Seattle, 40 dollars. I gotta give you a shine. I forgot, like I said, lift my clipboard out in front of me. 49ers, congratulations. Two weeks. We on the collision course. Ravens, 49ers.

Damond :

I'm looking forward to it. Christmas, that is our Christmas thing, that's what we gonna do. Hey, made the best team win. 49ers, because we coming, and if we walk out with a loss, not gonna be mad at it, we walk out with a win, I'm gonna be happy. Y'all walk out with a win. Hey, I'm gonna be happy for you. I'm the first to come on here to give you your shine. But I'm just letting you know when that game is over, one of two things is gonna happen, as even the Ravens are gonna win or the 49ers are gonna win. Made the best team win. I'm not giving no shade or no brown bad, I won't be mad either way. D, I won't be mad at all. But this is the game. I have circled on my calendar All season long was the 49ers. And hey, listen, we gonna really test Brock Purdy and I know y'all gonna test LeMar. So, hey, it's the ultimate chess match. The ultimate chess match. I'm looking forward to it.

Damond :

Sorry, I went away from the brown bags, but let's see, I will get one brown bag, or just one, just one, just one. All the Pittsburgh Steelers fans didn't come in here today, absolutely, which is totally. I'm going to shy away from that. I mean, none of these Pittsburgh Steelers fans came in. No one wanted to come see us today. Hey, listen, listen. We all have bad days, but to lose to two, two and 10 teams, that's more than a bad day. So, hey, pittsburgh, I'm giving the Steelers brown bags, I'm giving the fans brown bags. And you know something, when I go back through Pittsburgh again, I see that Franco Harris statue. I'm gonna put a brown bag on him too. I'm gonna start a ride up there.

T.J :

I am, I am, I am very concerned. Be, be, be careful there, sir, but if you must, my last brown bag. It goes without saying. I think I have spent the first 15 minutes of this show going off on him and I'm gonna do it some more because he deserves it. Brian Johnson, the officer coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles you, sir, get a, the biggest brown bag I have ever seen. It needs to be put on your bald head. Have the eyes cut up perfectly to where you could see, because apparently you have no idea what is going on. Your play calling is God awful. It's been the case all year long. And boy, oh boy, I speak for all Eagles fans when I say this. Shane Stikin, jonathan Gannon, say what y'all want about Jonathan Gannon. We miss you, we miss you.

Damond :

You can tell in the coaching that it's missed.

T.J :

We miss you dearly, man, like, like, I, only I, I, I, I part of me wants me to say, like, like, come back. But I know you can't come back. You know what I mean. It's kind of like that, that, that, that that great relationship that just didn't work out and, and you know, you still want them to be a part of your life. You know, like, like, come back, come back, even though they're already moved on. They, you know they, they ended a whole new, a whole another relationship. They don't forgot about you. No, no, no, shane, shane, shane, look, man, you know you didn't mean to take that job at Indie. Come back, man. Jonathan Gannon, come on, look, look man, we all know about Arizona. Give that job to somebody else. Come back to Philly, man, we miss you Because Brian Johnson is playing his play.

T.J :

Calling is so predictably God-awful that it literally makes the office as a whole anemic. And I, I, literally I don't think there needs to be a bigger brown bag than that that I've ever displayed on this show. So, with that being said, brian Johnson, office of coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles, you, sir, get a brown bag with a capital B and a capital B Next. Geez, I'm sorry I didn't woke up the child here, forgive me.

Damond :

Oh my goodness, oh man, brown bag. Well, these brown bags, hey, everybody gets brown bag. Hey, listen, listen. Hey, kelsey Kelsey, you still in here. Hey, hey, hella tissue, she gets a brown bag too. She's stealing this fan. She didn't come in here. I told you I'm going after everybody. It don't matter, I don't discriminate, I give a whole state's brown bags, okay.

T.J :

But, yeah.

Damond :

But hey, listen, we got an exciting week 15. Exciting week 15 coming up, because again, we got Thursday, friday, sunday oh man, well, we got some games in here. That's what I'm talking about. Guess who, guess who ain't going the way on Saturday, this guy, right, right, hey, hey, the YouTube TV will travel, just in case I have to. So, hey, listen, got it on the phone.

Damond :

But hey, we take y'all all for tuning in. We appreciate all your comments, we appreciate all the interactions. We appreciate if you came in, we appreciate all of it. Because, guess what? We're going to do it again next Tuesday. Because, guess what? We must march in on the long. If your team's doing good, hey do better. If your team's doing bad, you definitely do better. I'm just saying because, hey, once we get to the playoffs, you're done. When you lose, you go home couch. So I'm going to start getting some couch brown bag awards together. Let's see who gets the first one. Hopefully it ain't us, oh boy, yeah, all right, then I'll be on here like this again, hyperventilating.

Damond :

So but hey, thank y'all for tuning in. We're going to do this again next week. Hey, guess what Predictions coming up? I'll probably get them out tomorrow. And then a Thursday night football. You know, anything pretty counts. We appreciate the love. We do appreciate the love. We appreciate each and every one of you to come in here watch the show, comment on the show. Hey, come in on the show, listen, this is our show and we're going to take it out with a bang and we go and see and go, chiefs, right? Hey, that's right, that's right. Rep your team all the way to the end.

T.J :

I didn't fumble, I didn't fumble, I didn't fumble, I didn't fumble. I finished the show and I didn't fumble. The football, yeah, absolutely.

Damond :

Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. No fumbles on the show. No fumbles on this show, no fumbles on this show Chief. All right, all right, let's get out of here. We will see you all again on Tuesday. Oh my God.
