DK :I know, right, I know we've been missing for a little bit. We've been missing. You know that was a Super Bowl. We've been missing. No great Super Bowl, by the way. And hey, again, congratulations to the K&C Chiefs. They are the Super Bowl champions. They got to give them their props, so it can't take anything away from that. But, like I said, it's just good news time Things happen and it's just great. So, like I said, hey, how is everyone doing tonight? What is going on? Where y'all at, I see y'all watching.

TJ :Oh, my God, as y'all can tell behind me on my side of things, we're going through a little bit of a little reconstruction here. Reason why is because the big news is I'm going to take my talents to Winter Park, Florida. Okay, for those that don't know, Dallas and LeBron James decision reference back in 2010,. I decided to pull the cat out of the bag for this one. But no, seriously, one of the many reasons why we've been out for as long as we've had been is because there's this thing called life that happens and gets in the way and it allows for us to really think on some things and reflect on some stuff as we work our tails off day in and day out. And for me, one of those things was and I'm so excited to say this I'm going to be going to college soon.
DK :Clap it up. Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. You definitely gotta give a round of applause for that.
TJ :Yes.

I will be attending a full sale university it's located in Winter Park, florida to study my for my and I'm calling it mine because I will get it you heard it here first For my sports casting degree, and it is something that's long overdue. It's insane to think about. The journey is quite insane and I think that's put in a very under utilizing fashion, but it's something I'm very excited about. It's a very interesting journey and you guys have been a part of that from beginning to now and I can't thank you guys enough.
TJ :I'm gonna try my best to not be a Cody crybaby and be emotional on this episode here Because, as Davis will tell you guys, it's been one hell of a journey and when he gives that behind the curtain explanation of what I mean by that, he knows why the Cody crybaby will probably come out during this episode. So just wanted to share with y'all. That's where things are going and, yes, I will be making my way down there. I will be there on campus. Don't ask me how I'm gonna pull it off. Just know that it will happen and it will be pulled off, and it's gotta be done, man.
DK :I don't know what else to tell y'all.
TJ :It just gotta be done, man. I can't play the waiting game no longer and yeah, I'm still getting used to saying these words, by the way. So don't think that this was all cleared up and straightened out, because it has.

Yeah, just to go see this stuff for free, because he's down there. You know, just never know, this guy might be wearing a Chase U university Chase U yeah, he's the thank you, yeah.
DK :So the simple fact that, like I said, this was very, very exciting news. I was happy that we could share this out and I'm like, hey, look, congratulations, go for it. I got you back. So you know, we're gonna ride this thing all the way through. But guess what, just because he's going down doesn't mean he ain't gonna be here still. There you go, he's still gonna be here, it's just gonna be down there a little bit firm. But guess what? The power of the internet, we can always be together all the good time. But, like I said, man, it's been one hell of a ride because, again, everyone has a story, everybody has a story and, hey, like Cody said, it's time to finish your story. So, cody Croy babies, let the Cody Croy babies See, it's not like you got the rock coming around, you know, slapping you.

As long as you walk that path, you're gonna finish your story. You didn't give up and you're not giving up now. And I'm not giving up on you Because, guess what? DK :Amtrak. But again, like I said, it's one hell of a ride that you've been on, but guess what Day? Every storm, there's always some sunlight in the storm. No storm lasts forever. So, and this is your time to shine, so it is what it is and, like I said, we just been, I've been waiting all day to share this news. You know, we've been planning this one, we was gonna do it the most and now we're gonna do it today. You know we had some technical difficulties and no, we gonna fix it all this today. We're fixing this today, and now we got this story out here. He's about to walk that walk, or, as Rick Flayers says, to beat a man, you gotta beat the man. Right. There you go.
TJ :Beat the man. There you go, man, and you know, for those that are watching man shout out to y'all, by the way, because I know it's either late as hell or this is dinnertime for y'all, depending on what side of the coast you're on. But this journey for me has been, it's been, a, it's been one crazy journey. And you know I'm a very vulnerable guy. I think y'all know that, I think y'all see me on the many episodes on this show of just me being very transparent with you guys. And this is no different. You know, had a lot of crazy stuff happen over the last year and a half or so that could have derailed all of this entirely. And for those who are curious to know y'all know where to find me, y'all know where to find me we can have that discussion. But for those that don't know, things were so bad that it was to the point that, quite honest with you, I wasn't going to be doing a whole lot of talking through this microphone or through any form of entertainment, because that's how dark it was for me and it would go from bad to worse. And you know, there was so much that transpired, so much isolation, so many different things that weren't the greatest, that even you know you wouldn't want your worst enemy to go through. But I went through it and then some. And to be able to get through it, and to get through it in the manner that we have, is astronomical and crazy Cause it has to be a psycho to do this. But to make that profoundly clear from beginning to now, you have to be some sort of a psycho, some sort of a psycho to go through the storms in the manner that I have to get to this point. So, yeah, I just want to encourage any and everyone that may be going through a storm that is either widely publicized amongst your close family members or a storm that you're going through on your own.
TJ :I want to encourage you guys as much as possible that and this sounds cliche, but it's the truth that trouble don't last always and you know there is light at the end of the tunnel Don't give up, don't ever give up, as John Cena would say. Forgive me for the rest and cliche today, it's just a thing okay, but just don't ever give up. Man, and there's a lot of people that are watching you that you don't even realize. They're looking up to you and want to be a part of your success, which is possible. And I know it's hard. I know it's hard. I know it can be challenging, I know it can be a lot of things, but continue to hold on, man, don't give up, because there's something greater at the end of that tunnel and when you grab hold of that, it is one of the greatest feelings in the world and there's nothing that no one on this God-green Earth can say or do anything about.
TJ :So that's my encouragement to you all that you know, as someone who is a living testament of that, that I could show up here and would a smile, a brightening white smile, on this show every single time. It's a real thing, it's a real thing and it's no matter. It doesn't discriminate, doesn't discriminate, doesn't matter what you're going through or how long you've been going through it. Just know that if you hold on strong, you continue to never give up, you keep fighting. You will grab hold of that greatness, you will. Whether it's peace, whether it's some sort of happiness that you haven't had in a long time, whatever that consists of, you will get it. It is yours. So, yeah, I know I just went on a whole little. I don't even know. It's all good, it's all good, it's all good.
DK :It's all good, let me give a shout out to someone real fast. I think he may be watching. So before I came down this evening I told you I had to go to Wally World. So I went to Walmart right when I was coming out, god was coming across Park a lot and he was when the Eagles had hey and I just grabbed him tonight and I hope he's watching. If you do just say a comment and I know it's you, I think he's watching. But I told him. I told him, I said, well, I said my boys the Eagles fan. And so I said, well, you know, you play us this year the Raven. I said so. His wife was with him, so funny. So I said well, you know it's going to be an L. Right, the wife was like it's going to be an L. I said you know what I mean. I don't try. I don't try anybody. You couldn't let it go. You couldn't. Oh my God, it's not all season man.

TJ :I just spoke to him. I'm so sorry, ronald man. I'm so sorry I had to go through that. Oh my God, I'm so sorry.
DK :It's insane. You have your representative here, I got you?

DK :Yes, sir, listen all season long. This is what we do. We debate things back and forth, but when it comes to that game right there, we're gonna go at it and we're gonna come over here and we're gonna talk about it. Yes, yes.
TJ :I just hope that it is a great game to where we're not worried about it being a lopsided conversation. That's all I ask. That's all I ask when that game comes up, just don't let it be a lopsided. DK :This is what we do. But again we're here to share the good news that TJ's he's going to college, he's pursuing his career for that broadcast analyst. He's moving forward and I'm just glad. You know the story. He just the testimony he just said.
DK :You know thing with this is that when you go through a struggle, you really find out who's in your corner and who's not in your. Now TJ is my man. Guess what? When I heard what was going on, guess who was there? This guy. And it wasn't because I didn't. I was like, no, I'm going to see my man. I got my man. Listen to that.
DK :From beginning of that storm to the end of that storm, I was there with him. There with him all the way to the end. And again, anybody that wants to know they can reach out to TJ. I'm not going to share that, but the simple fact that he went through something and this was his outlet, this place right here was his outlet and we put that together and I wanted to make sure that he was okay from beginning to end. And when that storm was over, when that storm was history, guess who was there? Still, this guy, and you know what? And, as of today and me and Tree talked about this today as of today, I just made him the producer of this show Because simple fact that, hey, we've been through a bond, we've been through everything together. I was there, his graduation from high school, so of course he has a bond with me, something special. So this is my man, tj. Look at the screen. Got someone telling you congratulations.
DK :Oh man, I don't even think I can look at the screen right now. Oh my God, look at the screen. Look at the screen.
TJ :Wow, wow, oh, my God.
DK :So, no matter what storm you go through, no matter what bad things you go through, whatever demons is there, guess what? It don't last forever. Don't last forever. You'll get through it, you'll persevere through it. So, like I said, when you go through stuff, you'll find out who's in your corner. You'll find out who's there, and the one thing I wasn't gonna do was turn my back on you. So, whatever, absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. DK :He said he was going through the Cody crybaby thing tonight. So so here's the thing. Here's the thing. No matter what we went through on this show, even to the part where I had to wear a damn brown bag over my head when the ravens lost to the stealers you've been with me that whole time and I could honestly say that was a low part of mine. But it wasn't low, it was fun for me. I don't mind. But the simple thing is that, even though you was going through all that, I was redirecting that engine and I was gonna keep redirecting that engine, no matter what the outcome was. No matter what the outcome, I said, no matter what it is, we gonna ride through the storm together. I got you and I always will. So you got this and now you moving to bigger and better thing. Bigger and better. Hey, as the producer can't fire me, I'm good laughing.
TJ :How dare you try to put negotiations out in public? What, what, what what.
TREE:What did?
DK :I die Wait, wait, wait. Mom got one no bounty gate in the bank for the Eagles Ravens game. Oh yeah, it's definitely going to be bounty gate at the bank if it's at the bank.
DK :Oh, OK, OK, man Listen listen, I keep telling you, and even when we go behind the scenes, I tell you how I feel. I said I'm proud of you, no matter what. I'm proud of you, no matter the circumstances. I'm proud of you. I got your back and we're going to ride this one all the way out, all the way, all the way to the end, all the way to the end, oh, all the way to the end. But I'm going to open the floor up to you. Come on, tell me how you're feeling. Come on, man, man, I'm pretty sure, let the emotions go out.
TJ :I'm pretty sure these aren't the last of two years that's going to come out. During this episode I might do my best. Jason Kelsey impression I don't know, man.

TJ :I'm not going to lie. Given how hot it is in this room right now, I might challenge my morals on that one. Buddy, I don't know, as you turn the fan on on your end, yeah, yeah, you're not asleep.

DK :Oh god, oh man, I had to make sure it was on.
TJ :This is why. This is why, when we do this, we make sure that we do not wear all black or black shirts of any kind, because we fail every time to stay comfortable. That's advice to anyone that's doing this sort of stuff. Anyways, man. The tears are coming out, man, because for those y'all that don't know, or just tune it in I had a very I don't think the word is drastic. I don't think that that does it justice as to how crazy Catastrophic.
DK :There you go that might be a little bit better. We'll use that one.
TJ :A very catastrophic situation that I was dealing with for a year and a half behind the scenes and it was a very low point in my life the lowest point in my life and it is not even remotely debatable or a conversation we had and during that time there was a lot of people that were affected, a lot of things that changed for me during that time and it caused for a lot of people to not be so close to me. There was a lot of isolation going on, and you know rightfully so, because they didn't know who I was during that time and it was bad. But one of the main ones, one of the main ones from beginning to beginning to now, is this other guy that's on the screen with me, who oh me, oh my bad, I don't think this guy.
TJ :I don't think y'all understand not just the kind of personality he is on this show, but the man that he is outside of it and the kind of guy that he's meant to me. Trigg is on my nerve.
DK :You don't want to, eh you?
TJ :don't want to, eh, but I mean, he's always found a way to encourage me, to just not let me feel like I was completely alone.
TJ :And you know, even when there were some points where I made some adjustments that was great, it was still bleak, if that makes any sense.
TJ :And you know, there was a lot of people that either didn't know how to handle conversations with me or how to address me or what to say or what to do, and to it all, this guy right here was in open arms every single time.
TJ :Again, as I've stated before, you have to be some level of psycho and sicko to go through this in a manner that everybody involved had to be. But just the fact that he was crazy enough to wrap his arms around me and continue to encourage me and uplift me day in and day out, that it was going to be all right and that we were going to be good, it's some things that you'll just money can't buy, money just can't buy. And I think that's why my emotions are the way they are, because, as much as me, sharing the story is great, and I know sometimes I have a tendency, behind the scenes, to let other people kind of tell the story for me when it comes to moments like this. To have someone to really put in the perspective of what this journey has been for me personally over the last year and a half or so gets me every time.
TJ :So if you all see me tear up as he continues to talk about this and know I am not stopping him. I'm not. I'm going to let y'all know now I'm not. That's why. That's why Because we were able to build something special off of some of one of not the darkest times of my life, as young as I am. It's crazy to say so. Yeah, these tears probably ain't going to stop, but just putting the perspective and the context as to where they're coming from, blame him. Blame him right, blame him right to him Talk.
DK :So, like I said, we have a lot of history. I've seen him graduate high school. So the thing with this is that I'm not going to turn my back in someone that's in so having especially, you know what people go through and everything. That's when you find out who your real friends are, Because when you go through a struggle, who's they and who isn't? And you even said to yourself that, hey, listen, it's crazy what I just went through. You know this and that, but guess what? You were there with me the whole ride and that's what I was going to do ride with you the whole time, Ride with you. I was going to ride and we still going to ride. We're going to ride all the way together, you know. Yes, Another thing TJ asked me and I put this is hey, he gave me the honor of asking me hey, would your mind going down and take this tour with me?
DK :Hell, yeah, I'm going to take that tour with you. I'm honored. So the simple fact that I have family that's down there and I called them. Hey, we're coming down on this date. Can you help me out what my cousin say? I'll be there.
TREE:Wow.
DK :We good, you know, that's what families for families supposed to stick together. And on this journey and on this ride, even from back then all the way to now, guess what? It's been one hell of a ride. One hell of a ride and I wouldn't change a damn thing about it because the simple fact that if we had to go through it all again, I'll still be there, no matter the circumstances, I'll still be there, no matter what it is or what the costs, I'll still be there, even with the technical difficulties, even with the technical difficulties that we had today. But we got through that, didn't we?
TJ :Yeah, we showed you.
