You know something no matter how long the Rock has been away from the business, he still has it, he still brings it, he brings the energy, the magic and just everything from the Attitude Era all the way up to now. Tell me what was your biggest highlights, what was your biggest, what was your favorite moments? Listen now, I miss mommy and um Becky Lynch. I miss that match because I was asleep. But, man, I woke up doing that ladder match and whoo, when I did. But um, there was. It seemed like there was a lot of mommy fans up there in Philly, hey, so you mommy fans was just in full effect up there in Philly. Hey, I saw you, mommy fans was just in full effect up there. Listen, I love this time of year. I love this time of year. Wrestlemania. It's exciting, it's just great. Oh man, like I said, I saw the highlights of mommy and Becky Lynch and look like mommy going to be rolling with that title for a little bit longer because she was done, going shore ready to rep and, like I said, philly was riding behind her. But, like I said, I was just too, too excited about. I was very, very excited. Like I said, this is my favorite time of year Wrestlemania because they definitely gonna give us a show and they gave us a show tonight from beginning all the way up to the end. Now I really like the way they're telling this story because it's Cody going to finish his story or not. I mean it was just so much that we can just dive into with just WrestleMania period period Shoot, let's go to the ladder match.
Speaker 1:I mean I'm glad and I'm happy they split these titles back up. They should have been split to begin with. Now I think we need to redesign the titles now also, since they split. But what y'all think about Grayson Waller and Austin theory are now the Smackdown tag team champions and I kind of figured truth and Miz was gonna win one of them titles, but they won the war raw tag team titles. But listen, just the action in that match whatsoever. You know Grayson good winning the titles, then he gets put through a ladder my goodness, jd McDonough jumping in the match trying to help him batter and he gets put through a table by the New Day. Listen, from beginning to end, it was just action packed.
Speaker 1:But I love ladder matches because that just brings out the best in anyone. And I had to give it to the New Day because the New Day can make anybody elevate their game or be special. I give it up to every last contender. I actually wanted DIY to win one of those titles you know up and coming because simple fact that you know they need to push some of these newer talents. But hey, they gave need to push some of these newer talents, but hey, they gave it a theory and a wall or so. Okay, hey, we can't win them all, but I kind of figured that truth was going to win something anyway, especially with him being in there with the judgment day. So, hey, that's just redemption against him with the judgment day, which is great.
Speaker 1:I love it, I love it, I love it. I've loved every bit of it. I loved every bit of that ladder match. They left it all on the line out there. Another great reaction of the night 430, dom, he can get some heat, boy. Philly fans gave him some heat, but not only that, the Philadelphia Eagles gave him some heat. But not only that, the Philadelphia Eagles gave him some heat too, because, jc Kelsey, they have a guy under some luchador mask and throwing him into the ring post.
Speaker 1:It was just a day had you on the edge of your feet the whole time and I really really enjoyed every bit of WrestleMania. If you missed it, go back and replay it. If you got four hours to sit down and enjoy that show, go enjoy that show Because, like I said, there were some things in there that I didn't even expect. But hey, listen, it was great from beginning to end, night one, just great. But hey, let's talk about about damage control here. Wait a minute. They sure didn't look superior when they met up against Bianca, naomi and Jade. And what fitting way for Jade Coghill's first WrestleMania, for her to pin somebody from damage control. She was able to get that win. But it was just a dominant performance by those three black women and I love it. I love it.

Speaker 1:But to me, the biggest, the biggest, the biggest shock of the night was Sami Zayn beating Gunther. That was the biggest shock of the night for me. I was just like no, how can this be? This man is the greatest intercontinental champion of all time and he lost to Sami. He has to follow that. You know. Here's my thing. How can you follow that? Because it that's a hard thing to follow a very, very hard over 600 something days of being champion, and that's very, very hard to follow. So how can you follow, how can you follow up like that? That's crazy. That is. You know, don't get me wrong, they had gone to showboating or whatever, but for him to have came on and just been and he was beat by Sami Zayn. No, I was a little upset about that. Can you hear me now?

I was just upset that Gunther lost that title and I get it's a great, great story for Sami Zayn I really really do but I was really really upset that he lost the title to. Sami's not going to roll that title like Gunther did.
Speaker 1:Gunther took on all challenges and one of the things that I said with Gunther is that you know a lot of these champions they use somebody else to cheat. Gunther did it by himself, by himself, there was nobody interfering in his matches, and he did it for 662 days. I believe that is crazy and probably that record's not going to be beat for a long, long time. He's a once-in-a-generation talent, but now I guess they're trying to really push him, you know, to the next level and see where he's going to go. So, hey, listen, hey, congratulations. But congratulations, sammy, and see where he's gonna go. So, hey, listen, hey, congratulations. But uh, congratulations, sammy.
Speaker 1:I, I get this, uh, success story, and you know, dan philly is the rocky story and he, he beats the big bad, uh, man, and now he takes the title. But, uh, to me, uh, sammy shouldn't have lost that title, uh, but it is what it happens. It is what it happens, it is what it is. Congratulations, sammy. But that was to me the biggest upset of the night, was that one. And I mean, hey, can we get back to the main event here for a second? Yeah, I mean, did you see the entrance of the rock? Oh, that was fire. And then, for the simple fact he got that custom belt that was made for him last night too, oh, that was fire, that was fire, fire, fire, fire. All right, come on, come on, give me some good news, give me some good news.

Oh, my goodness, man, I, I, my head is hurt from yelling, screaming at the tv all the highs. I'm just man. I was excited, I'm surprised I have a voice, because I was yelling so much, right, oh, my goodness man, I'm upset. I'm upset, though. I'm upset because Gunter lost the title. I'm upset about that Interesting, I get it and I pick Gunther to win.
Speaker 1:I'm upset, man, listen, 662 days is a hell of a feat for anyone and Gunther didn't use anyone to help him. He did it by himself in every match, in every match. You don't see that with heels these days. Usually with heels someone come to help. Let's go with Roman Reigns' whole 1300-something days, every match. Someone interfered in that match, except the match with Seth Rollins Because he got disqualified. But other than that, all the Reigns' match has been interference. Gunter beat the bricks off of you and still beat you. Yeah, let's go through a list of names Braun Strowman, big man, drew McIntyre and Sheamus. At last year's WrestleMania in a triple threat match I mean, let me see Ricochet, who he won the title from Ray. He's beaten everyone that's been put in front of him and to end that reign to Sammy can't live up to that reign. I was upset about that.
Speaker 2:You know you could make that argument. I would also say that, as I sip on my weekend celebration drink here, yeah, absolutely. If Roman, if Gunther was going to lose the title, it had to be at WrestleMania.
Speaker 1:Yeah, okay.

Speaker 2:I talked about this on Tuesday, about the reasoning why I didn't believe that Sami Zayn was going to win, is because, when you have such a historic reign that Gunther has, whoever beats him needs to have to carry the weight of the fact that you just beat him for his historic reign at Wrestlemania, showing up on the following Monday night and say, hey, I'm the new champion, now the greatest intercontinental champion of all time. Look at me and I didn't see that with Sammy. Now, with that being said, with that being said, with that being said, though, I do think that with Sammy being champion has opened up a whole lot more avenues that I think we might even realize, because you can definitely do the rematch with Sammy and Gunther. We might even realize because you can definitely do the rematch with Sammy and Gunther, by the way what a match that was. No, that was a match. That was a match you could do that. You could also have a triple threat between the two of them and Chad Gable, if you want to. You could also have Sammy versus Chad Gable, if you want to. You could have Sammy versus a Bron Breaker. If you want to, you call him up, have him go to Raw, you could have Sammy Zane versus. I mean, the list goes on and on.
Speaker 2:I the the. The troublesome thing about the troublesome thing about Sammy winning is that he unfortunately does not have the character work to carry the mantle of the fact that he just beat an historic champion. Um, my point, exactly. That's all it is. That's all it is, and the only reason why that's the case is because they try to build a storyline within two weeks. If they gave this enough time to cook in the oven and marinate it with with, you know, kind of similar to what AJ Styles and LA Knight is doing. If they did it similar to that and they had that kind of build, then I would have a different story, I would have a different perspective.
Speaker 1:But because they rushed all this in a span of two weeks, hey, you see Tree telling us because she didn't get a chance to watch it.

And she had made it, said mommy's always on top. So yeah, oh, hey, man, listen, but she is mommy, one man mommy, I mean mommy a, and and the philly crowd was with her, with her. They, that's what it is, mommy, that's what it?
Speaker 1:is they love some mommy. And I was like that was the match I didn't see. So I was like, ah, because I I was still asleep but I woke up during the ladder match. But I'm glad I did, man, because that was entertaining, and I'm glad they split these titles back. I am so happy. But I wasn't expecting Waller and Austin.

Speaker 1:I wasn't expecting that. I thought DIY. I knew Truth. I knew Truth and Miz would, but I thought DIY would.
Speaker 2:You can't have two baby faces win it. You can't have two baby faces win it. I think that's why they did it that way. And look, I think R artru finally having his moment at wrestlemania is something that is going to be studied for years to come. He, you know. You know, because he, he and and miz got to be the, the, the guy to be alongside him, which is is ironic, you know, given that you know it was 11 years ago, almost to the day, that they formed a tag team and was causing ruckus in the in the main event scene. And to have them have that moment at WrestleMania was awesome. It was, it was, and R-Tr truth deserves it. Man, uh, obviously, him being over and and the whole judgment storyline and and him, you know, he thinking he was in it. Then he, then, you know, they kicked him out officially and they kept beating him up and kept beating him up.
Speaker 1:Um, you know, for him to actually have that moment was awesome. But beating him up For him to actually have that moment was a blessing. That was awesome. But what was funny was, more than anything, when he was standing on the apron for a tag Truth. Okay, truth knows how to sell a crowd and win them over. I'm not mad at Truth. He knows how to sell it and win them over. I love it, I love it.

I just thought the match could have been a little bit better.
