Rise Above the Storm: Finding Hope Together
Thank you. How's everyone doing? You know I came on here a quick second. You know, when I say I have things on my mind, I always have things on my mind and I'd like to come share it with you all. It's your boy, damon. I'm here with the dk, and tree podcast also got a special guest on the line. Miss mocha is on the line with me because we wanted to share a couple things with you all. It's about storms, because storms do not last forever. I you know and I'm gonna turn this over to Miss Mocha just for a second so she can just put her little input on this because we was having a brief conversation about this and what we just spoke about, everything that is going on, it shall pass. We're very resilient, we're very captivative, we overcome things and we overcome things together and that's how we have to do things together. But I'll let you touch on that, miss mocha.
MS. Mocha:Go for it yes, hi, thanks for inviting me on today's show. I am so elated and glad to be here with you. Um, dd, what I was saying is a group of people we have been through so many, so many obstacles in life and so many things that we have overcame and over, still overcoming, and that's just part of who we are. As a group of people, we've always been uplifted, encouraging one another through our different obstacles, events and different things that seem like they're out of the normal way of life. But we as a group of people have to be supportive of one another, have to stay encouraging one another.
MS. Mocha:And what we were saying about storms storms don't last. Always, after every national disaster, what comes out? The sun. So we have to look at life, obstacles and different things like that as the same way. We're going to weather this storm together. We're going to get through this. After that is over, we will see the sun. The sun will shine again. So just be encouraged, be uplifted, be steadfast and know that we will weather this storm together as a group of people. Whatever's going on in your life, know that the sun is going to shine again and this, this storm will, will pass. Absolutely. Just knowing that.
D.K. :I stay encouraged and uplifted, just knowing that absolutely, and you know it's just like with the whole federal government thing. You know, people losing their jobs, everyone's nervous, someone's trying to force someone out and whatever. Now I and my whole thing is is that there are rules and regulations in place for everything. You know, anyone that has lost their jobs, just listening to our voice, my heart and my prayers go out to you. But again, just like we talked about with these storms, it don't last forever and you are very resilient. You will figure out a way. These are things that they can't take away from you. They may take that job away from you, guess what? They can't take that knowledge away from you. They can't take your education away from you. They can't take anything you've done and you can apply it someplace else. Like, okay, this may be a blessing in disguise. Okay, you let me go from here, but I can prosper someone someplace else. Also, you can help bring someone else up and give them that knowledge. To keep passing that knowledge on and on and on. Let you know that, hey, this storm will not last forever. You may not see it right now, but you'll see it when it gets there and you'll think back like, oh, my goodness, I made it through this? I can't believe it.
D.K. :So everybody that's listening to me out there in the podcast world, I appreciate each and every last one of you. I do because, hopefully, I'm giving you some type of calm, I'm giving you some type of enjoyment, no matter what you're going through in your lifetime. So I appreciate each and every last one of enjoyment, no matter what you're going through in your lifetime. So I appreciate each and every last one of you because, guess what? There was a storm even doing this, because either you can do it or you can't do it. See, I don't mind, because the simple fact that I want to bring joy to someone's face, admit of everything they want through. I want them to say hey, you know something? This made my day just hearing this.
D.K. :And, like I said, me and Ms Mocha, we just we talk about a variety of things, a variety of things, but here's the thing that we talk about the most, again, it's that sunshine. It always comes through. It always comes through and it comes at the time that you need it. So we don't want you to be down, we don't want you to be depressed. We want you to be resilient, like you always have been. We've always been resilient over how many decades or how many centuries? We have always been resilient to any and everything. Look at COVID. We were resilient with that. Okay, some of them people didn't make it through, but guess what? We made it through that time. This is no different. We're going to make it through this together. Go ahead, ms Moga. I know you got some more words for them.
MS. Mocha:Oh, thank you so much. I just wanted to say that better days are coming, better days are over the horizon and we just have to stay the course and know that better days are ahead of us. It may look dark right now, but trust and believe better days are coming our way for all of us. So that's what I have to say. That's it, yeah. Thank you so much.
D.K. :DD. Yeah, it's no problem. Like I said, I just wanted to come on here for a quick minute for us just to talk to you, to give you some uplifting, some encouragement. Hey, we care, we do. You know, it don't seem like some things that's going on out here in the world that people don't care, but we actually do care. I do care Because the simple fact that, hey, if y'all going through something, we going through something too, it affects everybody, it's not affecting just one person, it's affecting everyone. And guess what? This is our place where we can come out of frustrations, bent and whatever.
D.K. :So what I also did was that I want to hear from you all. I really do. I really want to hear from each and every ass one of you, because I want to know how you're feeling. I want to hear from you all. I really do. I really want to hear from each and every ass one of you, because I want to know how you're feeling. I want to know what you're going through. I'll read it on the air, just for you. I want your message to be heard.

MS. Mocha:Lord, we just say thank you, lord, for this omnipotent day that you have created and you asked us to join you.
MS. Mocha:We ask you to just come in and touch the hearts of those who are in need, who are in need of a healing, in need of a breakthrough, in need of just letting them know that they care, their life is worth living, lord. So we just ask you to come by and touch them in such a mighty way, in a way that we know that only you can. We encourage everyone on tonight to touch someone and call them, let them know that they were in your thoughts, your prayers, and offer up hope to those who feel like there's nothing else that they can do or live for. But let them know that better days are coming and we stretch our hand out to each and every heart that are listening to us on tonight and know that they can, too, surpass whatever obstacles that are coming their way. And we just ask Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, we pray that, if so, it is done and we will rest in the bosom of Christ. Amen and amen.
D.K. :Amen. My final thoughts Again, we're resilient. We need to stick together. We're going to come together as one. We will overcome all this. Thank you for tuning in.
