From Gridlock To Gridiron: Chiefs Roll, AFC North Stumbles, And Eagles’ Quiet MVP Case

D.K./Tree and TJ Season 4 Episode 8

Send us a text

Rage meets reason in a rollercoaster hour where a six-lane traffic jam becomes the perfect metaphor for game-day chaos. We kick off with a blistering rant about cones without crews and crash-induced gridlock, then connect the dots to the kind of preventable mistakes that flip Sunday wins into Monday excuses. From there, we dive headfirst into Washington vs Kansas City: a promising first half, a Mahomes masterclass after the break, and the cold reality of how quickly the Chiefs turn one blown coverage into a cascade of scores.

Cincinnati gets the microscope next. Up double digits late in the third, the Bengals passed when they should have drained clock, invited volatility, and paid for it against an 0-6 team. We break down the math of winning time: shorten the game, manage risk, and refuse to grant free possessions. The AFC North takes more heat as Pittsburgh’s pass rush evaporates and Jordan Love reels off 20 straight completions. Meanwhile, Cleveland wastes another Miles Garrett gem as complementary football slips through their fingers.

There’s a reset in Baltimore. Tyler Huntley’s fit in the Ravens’ system unlocks tempo and timing, Keaton Mitchell adds juice next to Derrick Henry, and a focused locker room begins to reflect Lamar’s push for accountability. We close with a case for Jalen Hurts: 16 touchdowns to one interception, different plans each week, and a calm hand that turns injuries and adjustments into wins. Quiet excellence isn’t flashy, but it shows up on the scoreboard.

We don’t spare Dallas either—questioning culture, defense, and decision-making with a “brown bag” flourish that’s equal parts humor and hard truth. If you’re into sharp breakdowns, strong opinions, and real talk about coaching, clock management, pass rush, and MVP-level quarterbacking, this one’s for you. Subscribe, share with a friend, and drop your boldest upset pick for next week—we’ll read the best takes on the show.

Oh, what's happening? What's happening? We are back on the air. Back on the air. I tell you, it's always fun when we uh get to come out and talk to everybody. It's your boys at the DK and Tree Podcast. We here in full effect. But hey, my man had to go through some serious stuff to get here today. What's the track? I'm gonna let him just discuss that one before we get into everything else.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you. Thank you for giving me the floor. You know, you know, look, I I look greetings to everyone that decided to make it here. Appreciate y'all. We we we appreciate y'all, love y'all. Everybody that's liked, that has that has shared a comment, that's left a comment, that's allowed us to talk our heads off about football. We're not gonna cover football right now because I have to get this off my chest. And I'm pretty sure there's tons of people that are willing to hear it. So let me get this out the way right now. I, before I cut this camera, I was stuck in traffic on two separate occasions. Two separate occasions. One of the times that I was stuck in traffic today was to get the kids from school, and one of the lanes was cut off. Now you may be wondering, okay, did it just cut one of the lanes off because, well, you know, there's construction being worked on, or or, you know, was there an accident? No, none of those. So absolutely nothing would happen. Nothing but cones in people's way that into the whole lane that was initially a two-lane became a one-lane. That what turned into me being the 30-minute drive ended up being almost an hour 30. That was ridiculous. Then after getting the kids and dropping them off, I'm heading home, and then there's traffic after I used a as I used a different way of getting home, a non-traditional way of getting home. I take that route and I get stuck in traffic again. Yeah, this time around, we're stuck in traffic because somebody thought it was a good idea to ignore the idea of driving. Now, I'm going to say this now because look, I have a parent that works in the DMV slash the MVA for those who are on the East Coast. So y'all have a familiarity with what I'm about to say. And I also am a co-host with someone who works in the police department. So what I'm about to say is nothing new to anyone else watching this. Those people that are struggling to drive on these roads deserve to have licenses taken away, uh denounced, removed, slaughtered. I don't care what the what the right terminology is, they have got to go. They do not deserve to be driving on these roads. It made absolutely no sense. There is at least four to five to six lanes. And yet, somebody somehow, someone thought it was a good idea to not pay attention and end up having an accident in the middle of rush hour. Rush shower. That was ridiculous. Absolutely do not wish that on anybody whatsoever. That was a joke. And for those who found a way to cause an accident in that process, those licenses need to go straight to the DMB right now. Don't even think about getting anybody's cars back when they're when they're when they're fixed up in the shop. Don't worry about none of that. All of that is done. All they need to know is that their licenses are officially revoked. They're gone. They are completely out of the way. They need to figure out another way of transportation. Because that shit right there was ridiculous. Everybody else had to suffer an extra 45 minutes. Let me say this again. An extra 45 minutes of being in traffic because two people thought it was a good idea that they could not pay attention on the road well enough to cause an accident on the way home. That is ridiculous. That is absurd. That is obscene. And for those people that were involved in the accident, I'm glad everybody's okay. I do want to get that out the way because I do care. I'm still a human being. I still have a heart. I hope everybody's okay. In the meantime, between time, no one involved deserves a license. No one. No one. Everything needs to get remote. Everything. Get rid of the car, get get rid of the get rid of the plates, everything. Everything needs to be revoked after that. That was ridiculous. And it's only Tuesday. I'm sorry. That was uncalled for. That was uncalled for. I never the the I it's not often I get to experience traffic, but even when I do, it does not go this fucking long. That was a joke. That was a travesty. That shall never happen again. And off that alone, anybody decides that it's a great idea to make a mistake and have an accident on a highway in the middle of rush hour. Your licenses should be revoked. Don't cry, don't complain, don't ask, don't nothing. It's gone. It's gone. That should be a new law passed. I will sign off on it. That was a joke. That was ridiculous. All right. Now that I got that off my chest, now let's talk about some football.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, constitian here. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. JB, we see y also. Hey, hey, listen, listen, listen. Dad, I had to let you get that off your chest because you was definitely upset about that Texas traffic. I get it. Let me start here. And I even called you on this one. I called you on this one. Okay. Anytime I cut off a football game, cut it off. Because what happened last night up in Kansas City? Yeah. I just cut the game off. I cut the game off. I went to the World Series. At least that was much more entertaining because they went 18 innings to decide the winner last night. Because Washington, I'm starting with you. First half, y'all was taking it to Kansas City. I was like, okay. And Mahomes threw picks. I said, okay. One was his fault, one wasn't his fault, because it was Tip. Right? Oh my God, don't start. Oh, I'm starting. Yeah. Okay. I was like, no, this is good. I said, Washington making upset them, right? They was making right plays, but as we see, you're taking too many gambles and risks. Your name's not Dan Campbell. It's not. It's not Dan Campbell. Dan Campbell takes those kinds of risks. You get down there, you take every point that you can get. Every point that you can get. You do not give Mahomes the ball for any reason. Keep him off the field as much as possible. Because they're going to figure out schemes. They're going to figure out a way to scheme you. And then next thing you know, what happened? Travis Kelsey just starts exploding on him. Of all people, Travis Kelsey. That's the one you know you have to lock down. Then uh Rice, Rasheed Rice, right? Even Hollywood Brown got some love up in there too. I cut the game off. Cut it off when second half. So I said, you know something? Enough of this foolishness. I was disappointed because even though they talk about Washington's defense as messed up as it is, they was doing a hell of a job in their first um half against against Kansas City. And I was like, if they keep this up, they could upset them if they can keep this game close. What happened? Yeah, we was all upset and disappointed. I said, no, let me cut this game off. And I cut it off, and I went on over to and I went on over to uh the World Series. Now, by the 12th inning, I was asleep. Well, I woke up, went 18 innings, and the Dodgers ended up pulling that off. I I was like, at least that was a much more entertaining game. You understand what I'm saying? That that okay, I'ma just use it shellacking up there in Kansas City. I was disappointed with Washington because when I saw how they was playing, I said they may have a chance if they can keep it close. But as even Troy and Joe Buck said, you cannot get into a shootout with Kansas City. You can't. I was I was just disappointed. I was no and I had a couple co-workers, they went up there and they took pictures while they was in the crowd and all that, and you know, they they're disdain and disbelief or whatever thing, run the ball, do this, do that. What Washington wants to do? You can't you can't do that because Spags is going to blitz you. He's gonna scheme up stuff to get you off your river. Yeah, that's just what it is. That's just what it is. So yeah, I I I was totally disappointed in Washington last night. I was that I cut the game off and I went to the World Series. I went to the World Series. That was a much better game.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I uh you know, I tried, you know what? I'm not even gonna do this. I tried to warn y'all. I warned y'all last week. I did. Go back to last week's show. I've said it. Um I'm gonna say it again in case anybody missed me. I'm gonna say it again. I said it last week, I'm gonna say it now. This Kansas City Chiefs team is um starting to uh get some momentum. And just when we thought that Washington was going to perhaps limit them, because that's the way it was looking in the first half, you saw as soon as they came out of halftime, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown. Game was over. And game's over. I feel like I feel like even with seeing the way that that went, I feel like that is more of a big deal than anything else. Because here's why. The last couple years, we have said that the offense hasn't been that good, the running game hasn't been that good. Patrick Mahomes doesn't really look the same. He's not really, you know, being that elite guy. We always talk about Josh Allen, Lamar, Burrow. We we talk about all these other guys that's having better seasons than him. But yet we look up, and next thing you know, where does he end up at in the Super Bowl? So it just doesn't seem to matter. But we always talked about how the offense we so we talked about how the offense was not the greatest, right? Post Tyree kill, right? They didn't have the big play on the outside to go to. They they didn't have that. Well, now they do, and now everybody's healthy. And and what makes matters worse, last night went down the way they did, and they didn't have their star left guard, right guard, I'm sorry, and they didn't have their rookie left tackle, who's been one of the best tackles in football. So they were missing those two guys in the offensive line last night, and they put up 28 points. 28, 28, and at one point, the way it came to the game, it it felt like they were starting to toy with Washington. Like it was almost like, oh, you know what? You don't want to feel like you want to guard Rasheed Rice? Fine, we'll just throw a deep pass to Worthy. Oh, you know what? You don't want to guard Worthy? You feel like that's too much? All right, we'll just throw over the middle of the Travis Kelsey. Hey, we we can just have fun with this at this point, and and this is the thing about Kansas City, and this is the takeaway I had from last night. And this is what I hate, this is what I tried to warn y'all about. They are starting to get their swagger back, they are starting to get their Travis Travis Kelsey Taylor Padro and many touchdowns. They're getting that swagger back. Which I do want to make something very, very clear. Which I do want to make something very, very clear. In an AFC that where the Chiefs had to deal with Lamar and uh Buffalo and Cincinnati and teams like that to go through in the playoffs, that's no longer the case. Now, that may change if Lamar comes back and leaves the Ravens on a run, they end up winning the division, they get into the playoffs, they get a home playoff game, then they go against Kansas City. Okay, cool. We may have a different story. Okay, cool, fine. They may still have to deal with the Buffalo, that's fine. But given the way everything's looking, Buffalo may not even win their division right now. So the way that it's looking, Casey has to worry about the Colts, the Broncos, the Chargers, and Buffalo, the team that they already beaten. No, I'm not counting the Steelers. I'm sorry who they play next week. Yeah. In Buffalo. Exactly. So in Buffalo. So again, this isn't like oh, we gotta go through this gauntlet of Lamar, Burrow, Allen to get to the Super Bowl. Now it's like we gotta go through uh we may go, wait a minute, we may go through Indiana Jones and Indy.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, you think that scares Kansas City right now?

SPEAKER_00:

Huh? You think that scares Kansas City? Not a damn, not at all. They they could care less, they don't care if it's on the road or if it's at all.

SPEAKER_03:

I I get it, I get it, but Kansas City's not used to always being on the road. You understand what I'm saying? Remember, any given Sunday, because we we're gonna talk, we're gonna talk about the Bengals next. Any given Sunday.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. But but I I say that to say that.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, did he get stuck?

SPEAKER_03:

Uh oh, I think he got stuck. Listen. And Tish, I I I I see you with the eyes. Listen. I know how it felt up there, because you're up there in Kansas City. I know how it feels to be sitting here and I'm like, look, Kansas City needs to go down. And then you just see a team like just destroyed itself in mental mistakes. And uh I was just ah, it just made me cringe. Like I said, I cut the TV off, went to the World Series. And what I'm explaining is that, and again, it's any given Sunday. I mean, who that ever thought the Colts would be seven and one? Seven and one, it'll be back in a minute. But whoever thought the Colts would be seven and one, and now every and they're looking down on everybody, and the Broncos. Oh, look at that. Who never thought that their record would be the way it is, and they're tearing it up. Hey, at least the other hallball got it right. I had high hopes for the commanders. I did too. And watching that first half because I just thought I said, okay, if they can keep it close and not get into a shootout with Kansas City, then they'll be okay. They will be okay. But getting into a shootout with Kansas City is always the wrong answer. Well, yeah, I had high hopes for him too. Go ahead, finish up.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I was just I was just saying that like the the the days of them having to go through a gauntlet of teams to to get to the Super Bowl, that's not the case this year. Like, if you're telling the Chiefs that their worst case scenario is the Colts, I love what the Colts are doing. We all love what the Colts are doing. And I hope that they have the team to beat Kansas City. However, especially if they have to go on the road to play Kansas City somehow, somehow, that doesn't scare Kansas City. It does not. You can ask anybody in the Kansas City locker room. Playing the Colts doesn't scare them. Playing the Broncos doesn't scare them. Playing the Chargers doesn't scare them. Playing the Patriots doesn't scare them. Playing Buffalo, who they've beaten tons of times in the playoffs, doesn't scare them. So this is a situation now where it's like, well, it's kind of wide open. Kind of wide open. And that's that is what pisses me off. Because I tried to tell y'all, look, if if there's not a team that can stop them right now, they're getting momentum. And once they start picking that up, especially, I'll tell you right now, let them beat Buffalo this week. And then they go into the bye week and they're six and three. Or six and two. Going into I'm I'm telling you, it's it's going to repeat it. It's gonna repeat itself over and over again. Over and over again.

SPEAKER_03:

So I really hope that. I'm with you, Tish. They ain't. Don't worry. Look, look, I uh I am tired of them. Tired. I get it. And then of course, not not at Josh House. Okay, we'll we will see.

SPEAKER_00:

I I really love so not everybody, not everybody's Carolina. Not everybody's Carolina. You can't just put up 48, 40, you can't have the final score being 40 to 9 every week. Clearly.

SPEAKER_03:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

So not everybody's Carolina. So I just want to put that out there for everybody that thinks, oh, well, they just beat everybody in the they just beat Kansas City in the regular season. So that's just a guaranteed W. No. No. No. No. No.

unknown:

No.

SPEAKER_00:

This Kansas City team has weapons. It has weapons with an S. And they have an offensive line that is able to keep Mahomes upright. Okay? Because listen, the past couple years, it's been Travis Kelsey, people who can't catch the ball in the offensive line that picks and chooses when it wants to protect Mahomes. No longer the case. Now we got the offensive line that's willing to protect, regardless of who's in there. They got Travis Kelsey looking like he's 27 again. We got uh one of the fastest receivers in Worthy on the outside, along with Hollywood Brown. And then you got you got Juju in the slot. Then you could then you have this big guy, Thornton, who's a rookie this year. He's tearing it up. So they have weapons that Mahomes has that Mahomes has at his disposal that he can pick apart a defense by himself. He did not have that last year, he did not have that two years ago. Hell, he didn't really have that three years ago. Ever since Tyreek Hill was gone and removed from that offense, that offense was not the same. But yet they still found a way to win. So now you you pair the offense as it's currently constructed in the way they're playing right now with the defense, by the way, that was already pretty good. They were playing well last year, they were playing well the year before, they're playing solid this year. So when they're starting to play complimentary football, that's very hard to beat. That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. It's hard to beat.

SPEAKER_03:

It is, it is. I get it. I get it. I get it. I get it. But again, somebody has to slow them down. Somebody has to slow them down. Somebody gotta slow them down. But um in the world of um upsets, Cincinnati, I I truly have no words. How you go from and we get we gonna get to your stealers, Tish. We gonna talk about it. We're gonna talk about it. Yes. How you go from one man dominating a whole team to letting a team that ain't won a game beat you? Oh, I guess I guess I have to go to your reference on this. I have to go to your reference on this. Just like the Alice, right? There's no D in Dallas, there was no D up in Cincinnati. Sure wasn't. Clearly wasn't. I guess it took the owner to lay out Justin Fields to say, you know something, I'm gonna go win this game. I just couldn't believe that that was a shootout. That game shouldn't have been close. Not with Jamar Chase and T. Higgins on team. That game shouldn't have been close at all. Like we said, the flacco songs, right? The flacco science, right? Revive. Revive. And you let a team that was 0-6 come in and beat you? Come in and beat you. Ain't won one game in a shootout. What does that say about your defense? Oh, hey, how many times have we said on this show about Cincinnati not taking care of things they need to take care of? How many times we said it? And guess it wasn't playing. Hunting shit. Wasn't playing. Wasn't playing. So your best player ain't on the field. You don't seem to have anything in the middle or in the secondary to stop anything. Not even a win. You can't even stop that. And don't worry. We we're gonna we gon' we're gonna dive to Pittsburgh next. Okay. But you can't stop a cold and you let this 0-6 team come in here and beat you. Please explain that one to me. Please explain that one to me. Anybody. Comments. Anyone. I forgot to say, what's going across the bottom of the screen if you want to call into the show and say your opinion on any game you watch or your team you want to watch? Right there, you hit that in the parentheses, you type in the code, it'll ring over here. We'll bring you on too. Because we want to hear from you. I want to hear anyone from Cincinnati on this one. You know? As I see like some of the fans say, trash. Defense is trash. Trash. Kind of like our first five games of the season. Trash! I I give it to you. Go. Go for it. Exactly. Not what to say.

SPEAKER_02:

Okay. Let me because this is the thing, right? Like I'm watching that game.

SPEAKER_00:

You're up by double digits. Deep into the third quarter. Sound familiar? Deep into the third quarter. Like, if you just put up a field goal, the game is over. Like the the the jets are not coming back from down 17. Or whatever the the point total was at the time. But you're up 14, you're up double digits deep into the third quarter. I think there's like three minutes left or something like that. And your offense goes on the field. Your offense goes on the field. Right. And instead of you bleeding, instead of you bleeding the clock out, like a regular person would, you decide that it was a good idea to throw the ball on every single down that there was, even if it was complete or not. And that cost y'all the game. That right there. I don't understand why these head coaches who get paid millions of dollars to be offensive or defensive or CEOs of these teams, they get paid all this money. And yet, when you are up, when you are up double digits in the second half, your solution is to keep throwing the football. As if there's not a big risk behind you throwing the football every single play. Now, granted, in Flacco's case, it didn't end in a whole lot of interceptions thrown. But I'll tell you this. Does it have to be? Does every single plan end up in an interception for you to realize, you know what? Maybe we should just run the ball. Maybe we should just bleed the clock and just run the football. Maybe that's not a bad idea. Why do you have to wait for worst case scenario to happen? Why do we have to wait for worst case scenario to happen for you to all of a sudden start bleeding the clock? By the time that mistake happens, it's too little too late. We saw it a couple weeks ago with uh with the Giants with how they lost that game against Denver. That one interception cost in the game. All they had to do was run the football. That's it. Run the football, bleed the clock. But did you want to do that? No. It's one turn. You make a mistake, the other team capitalizes on it, they score, they score again, they cause another mistake, they score again, and you look up on the you look up on the scoreboard, they're up by they're up by three. The game's over. That's it. Right. So in the case with Cincinnati, you had an opportunity to run the clock out. Run it out. Run up the clock. That's it. I don't think the Jets are running out the 85 Bears right now. They're just not. They're 0-6 for a reason. So the idea of just forgetting that you don't have a running back back there and just running the football costed y'all the game. And then we're sitting up there and we're like, wow. The Bengals lost this game? Yeah. Because they thought it was a good idea to keep throwing the ball over and over and over and over and over and over again.

SPEAKER_03:

I was totally, totally shocked. I was like, the Bengals lost this game. The Bengals lost the game. Yes. Yes. Really? What is going on with you losing these games? You lost that game to an 0-16. And of course, we got to saying, oh, trap game, right? Trap game. Right? Trap game. Nah, that was no trap game.

SPEAKER_02:

No fan.

SPEAKER_03:

That was not a trap game. No sense. That game is that they outplayed themselves. Plain and simple. They outplayed themselves. And with them outplaying themselves, that's what happened. They got got. And that's embarrassing. To see your fans on the field with the faces looking like, what the hell just happened up here? Did that just happen to us? Thank you, Jets. I agree with you. Thank you, Jets. I agree with you. But I didn't expect that. I didn't expect that at all. At all. I didn't expect it. But hey, thank you, Jets. Helped us out, right? Yeah. And then and then let's go on down to Pittsburgh. We definitely gotta talk about this one. Let's go on down to Pittsburgh.

unknown:

I'm

SPEAKER_03:

In the AFC North to waste a day. It's not the fact that the Ravens won. It's not because of that. It's the fact of look at our whole division as a whole right now. We look soft. We look soft. We look soft. We look like the NFC East is. And I got a problem with that. Because the simple fact that everybody knew if you played the AFC North, it was going to be hell and high water on you, and it's going to be a fight. So let's let's go to Pittsburgh. We ain't gonna talk about Cincinnati, but we're gonna talk about Green Bay. Go pack and go, right? How are they gonna come in and take over y'all stadium? Y'all stadium. There was more cheese heads in there than it was Pittsburgh fans. If the Ravens win the division, all the head coaches need to be fired. Listen. Listen. I was like, anytime your home quarterback has to go to a silent count, a silent count. That's a problem. That's a problem. You know, Pittsburgh has always been known for a strong fan base to travel with their teams. The 49ers is the same way. Right? Strong fan bases. See, even the Eagles. Strong fan base. Because y'all came to Baltimore last year and took over our stadium. I get prosper processes too. Right? But that's not Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is supposed to be this dominant force. We can't win them all, damn it. It's not it's not the fact of winning them all, but my point is that look what's going on around the league. No one seems to have any damn defense. No one. And especially in our division. Which our division has been known. The two top defenses that's been in the league for a long standing time is Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Let's just call it what it is. Two top defenses. You can't even spell defense right now because where the hell is it? Well, if anything. Okay. So when Pittsburgh was up, right? I said, oh, here we go. Uncle Aaron about to disappoint me in here. And I was like, okay. The next thing you know, here come the Packers. And they kept fighting back. And they kept getting through their defense. Hey, how Patrick Cream working off for you? Oh, I'm sorry. I I I I keep that to myself. Wait a minute, how Ramsey working? I keep that to myself. You know. Oh, Slay. Oh, yeah. I keep that to myself too. Um one play changed that whole game. And this is what it what it was. Look. In the shotgun. He got blitzed. Queen hit him. But he got the ball off. The tight end. And I and me, I call it like it is. That should have been passing appearance, offensive pass he pushed off of it. Clearly, you saw that. They didn't call it. But he caught the ball and ran about 45 yards down the field. Remember last week we talked about Jamar Chase. One person beating you. One person beating a defense. Now it was just tight end to beat you. One person tore the field up on national tight end day. Then next thing you know, the Packers done scored. Then they scored again. If you blink, they scored another one. And the two beating 35 to 25 up in Pittsburgh. Which I was shocked. I really was. Because I was like, Uncle Aaron, Grandpa Aaron, whatever Aaron I want to call him these days. He always seemed to have a knack of finding some way to beat you. But I got to thinking also about this. Wait a minute. The Packers know him because he's played there so long, so his style really hasn't changed. So they was like, we know what he's about to do, what he's about to call. They know his signals. They know all this. I said, oh okay, they're gonna figure it out. If they say Rogers would have won that game, he'd have beat every team in the NFL. Correct. And he loss. And who you blame it on? No defense up in uh Pittsburgh, huh? And what do you mean don't do us? Absolutely, I'm doing y'all. Because that's two losses in a row. Two. But your defense is being beat by one person. One person. Yeah. Jamar Chase did it. And now this tight end did it. I understand it's a team effort, but they the ones that had the most um yardage and reception. So where's the problem in the defense? Where's the problem? I'll tell you what. I'll tell you. I'll tell you what. Let me say this one last thing and then I'm gonna give it to you. Remember a couple weeks ago, you said you said I think JJ Watt maybe lost a step or something like that. Or he's just not himself. Correct. Now I'm gonna give it to you. Go for it. Correct.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because that that's that's perfect. Because that pass rush non-existent on Sunday night. That just non-existed. And they didn't they didn't sack they they didn't sack Jordan Love one time that entire night. They didn't sack him one time. Unheard of. So I'm gonna say it anyways. When they went through practice leading up to this game, I'm pretty sure it was a lot easier for them to game plan on how Aaron Rodgers was gonna be, because their quarterback is playing like him, just younger. Right. That's literally it. That's literally it. To the cadence, to the throwing angles, to the stance, to how he moves around the pocket, to everything. That's literally Aaron Rodgers 2.0. And because of that, as the game went on, they just said, oh, you all to lie can't take our pass rush. We got Michael Parsons. Let's just move him around. Let's just move him from one side to the other, and then let's just make sure that he gets to Aaron Rodgers. Let's just make sure that it keeps happening over and over and over and over and over again. And in that second half, that's literally what happened. It was literally pressure after pressure, stack after stack, over and over. And it was almost like they were taking turns doing it. It was like you saw you saw Micah get there. Then you saw Rashawn Gary get there. It's like, what in the hell is going on here? And then you look, third and 16, you got Aaron Rodgers that's trying to throw a check down. They end up getting blown up by a linebacker somewhere. It's like none of the drives just end up working whatsoever. And it was it was embarrassing. But in fairness to Steeler, to Aaron Rodgers, I will say this. Aaron Rodgers has been playing very solid this year. We have to give props where props is due. That hasn't happened yet. What we saw from the Jets the past two years, I I haven't seen that yet. I just haven't. As of yet. Now, with that being said, he's only doing but so much with so very little. That offensive line is a there that offensive line is a bunch of matadors. It's it's a joke. Every time Aaron Rodgers is snapping the ball, I know he's fearing for his life. I I know by the time he even, before he even gets to the huddle, I know he's already having his helmet near the turf. That's how much he's accustomed to being on the ground. Every single time he even gets to the huddle, he just makes sure he sniffs the turf. You know what? You know what? I feel like I might feel this a couple times. I feel like I might smell this a couple times today. That's how often that offensive line has allowed him to get used to getting hit over and over and over and over again throughout this entire season. Now, granted, they've won some of these games, and that's been great, but it's been a joke. It's been a joke. And so because of that, right, Aaron Rodgers is doing what Aaron Rodgers does best, which is trying to add lib, trying to run around the pocket, trying to turn back the clock, if you will, a little bit. Well, it's hard to do that when we all know that your only option is DK Metcalf and a check down and nothing else. Now, I just want to I just want to let y'all in on a little bit of a secret. You know, what is so funny, right, is that during the broadcast, Chris Collinsworth is like, yeah, it looks like the Steelers are missing a wide receiver two. And I just looked at the screen. I looked at the screen and I said, wait a second, didn't he have that? Then I realized, I said, oh, he plays in Dallas right now. Oh, okay. So yeah, weird stuff, weird stuff. So now all of a sudden, them trying to I oh now all I'm hearing is that, oh, they're gonna try to get a wide receiver too, wide receiver two. It's like y'all have that. The same thing with same thing with with uh with with with the cowgirls. It's like we need a pass rusher. It's like you have that. You decide to try to write so I say that to say that I feel like that that the game on Sunday night was more telling about how great Green Bay was versus how bad Pittsburgh was. Because I feel like we all know the same things about Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh defense is old, we all know that their offense is very limited, and we all know that they have a head coach that apparently the fan base wants to get fired every single season. We all know that.

SPEAKER_01:

That's nothing new. It was on full display on Sunday night. And if Jordan Love can stay upright regardless of who is in front of that offensive line, he is gonna dish it out to whoever he wants to, however, he feels like it. And that's literally what you saw. He had 20. I'm gonna say this very clearly so that way everybody can hear me. He had 20 straight completions. I'm gonna say it again. 20 straight completions, which tied the franchise record in the game. Okay, 20 straight completions on the same Pittsburgh defense that we've been acting like no. TJ Watt looks like he can't get to the quarterback anymore. I don't know if it's a whole lot of triple teams, double teams. I don't know what that's about. However, I don't even want to hear any excuses because there's a guy in Cleveland that had five sacks, but his team is so god awful that they couldn't pull out the win. So, kind of wanna hear that. Number less. What a game by Green Bay.

SPEAKER_02:

But Pittsburgh boy boy, I have issues.

SPEAKER_03:

Hey, listen, you know what's funny? Listen, that whole the audio was just kind of really like scratchy, man. As soon as you came out of it, it went better.

SPEAKER_01:

See, that's a shame. That's a shame.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm starting to think that there's enough on us. Oh no, here's the reason. What do you mean let's move on? Uh uh. The reason that I'm harping on this, and again, it's because I am disappointed in our division, period. And what do you just say with Miles Garrett? Five sacks and they lost the game. Five sacks and he lost the game. Because the defense is god-awful. But since you want to move on, we'll go to Cleveland. Like I said, I'm picking on the AFC North today. And the AFC North is again, this is this is embarrassing. We always expect Cleveland to suck or something like that. So we always keep the little brother always in the basement, right? Yeah, we keep the little brother in the basement. We one good person on the team, and Miles Garrett. Hey, I thought I wanted out of Cleveland, which he should have taken it, but no, I guess money was a lot better. I would have left Cleveland and went someplace else. And the simple fact, he is wasting the way of that cleveland. He is the greatest player on the team. Let's call it what it is. You don't want to put Shador in the game for whatever reason that y'all want to blackball the guy, right? And try to give him a chance to see, hey, maybe we can get some chemistry with him. Yeah, yeah, thanks to Fanski. Right, absolutely. And you are wasting away talent up there. Cleveland's defense was okay starting the season. Now they're starting to wither away. But if their defense is always on the field, what's gonna happen? I'm gonna be tired. I'm not gonna be able to, you know, do things. So if I was miles Garrett, I'm gonna slam my helmet down too. At this time, I'd be like, look, just trade me. Just trade me. Oh no!

SPEAKER_01:

Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't want to hear that. I I don't want to hear that. I said this in the offseason, I'm gonna say it now, I'm gonna say it again, I'm gonna say this until the day that he decides it's a good idea for the play of the rounds to get rid of him because of how old he is. You sir. I wanna have a chance at going to the Super Bowl. I wanna have a chance at winning the Super Bowl, I wanna win, I wanna win, and then not even two weeks later, Cleveland provides you all the money that is in Cleveland, and you say you know I don't wanna hear shit. I don't wanna hear shit.

SPEAKER_05:

You wanna buy because you're absolutely not.

SPEAKER_01:

No, you have your face. You're clean. Money is more than that. You have sex, and you'll be able to do that. Let me stay in the police department. Be away, be away, I don't want to go anywhere. Stadium's gonna all the clean ones money, him and the short lots of all the clean ones money, I don't want to hear shit.

SPEAKER_03:

Wait a minute, he can't, he can't wait, he can't have all the money and he's gonna build a new stadium.

unknown:

Wait a minute.

SPEAKER_03:

Wait, you see what Herb saying? Rush Andrews and draft picks forget it. Oh my God. Oh my God.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm cutting that out right there. Absolutely. That that's that's no. I want to hear none of that.

SPEAKER_05:

No more. No more.

SPEAKER_03:

No more. Okay. No. Okay. It it hurt. Okay, I got you. I got you. I got you. All right. Let's let's go to some good stuff. Let's let's go to some good stuff. Okay. Ravens. Let's go to the Ravens. Okay. Am I happy my boys didn't give up? I am. They they fought. But look at what it took Cooper Rush does not fit in our offense at all. I don't even know why the hell they signed Cooper Rush. They should have been him the third string quarterback. Tyler Huntley was a better option. He's been in that fit before. He knows the program. He knows the schemes. He knows how to run. Run. Hey, hey, I'm just gonna take off because uh this don't look right to me. So let me go. Guess what? A lot of teams don't have a lot of tape on him. So the simple fact you should have put him in those games when Cooper rushed through those three interceptions in one game. Them three interceptions in one game. They should have done that. And again, he comes in. What does the team do? They rally right behind them. And you know, the NFL is very, very devious because the simple fact that you can have somebody that's a mess up, they're the bad child, like you'd be all right. But then you put in, hey man, we used to you. Here's something that I saw. I don't know if you were paying attention to it, but like when Huntley went to the sideline, Lamar was dapping him up. Did he do that once to Cooper Rush? Name one time you seen they did that to Cooper Rush. He didn't. He looked disgusted standing over there on the sideline like this asshole is running the offense. Chemistry. Chemistry. And they have chemistry with Huntley. Huntley was the better option. And knowing this, not knowing this, but Huntley called Harbaugh. He said, Hey, I would like to come back. Harbaugh said, okay. He called. He said, okay, I'm gonna bring you back. He said, I I love Baltimore. Baltimore's my home. Came right on back and he fit it right in. And he went out there and did a hell of a job. And then you still got that monster in the backfield. But hey, but hey, hey Angela, hello. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. And I've been saying this all year long. Look who was in that backfield with Henry. Keaton Mitchell. And he burnt one down the sideline. I didn't even get to see the game. I was just watching the highlights. Because the simple fact I was working. So I was like, oh, you finally put him in the game, which he should have been in the game a long time ago. Scheming him because with his speed and his he can make people miss easily. Again, they're gonna target Henry. Because they're like, oh, he's a big bruiser. We gotta put about seven, eight people on him to stop him. Right? But you're not scheming for Mitchell. You put him in the backfield, it's all good. Lamar and Huntley are from the same area. Lamar is the reason Huntley's in Baltimore. And that's a good thing. He should have been here a long time ago. Long time ago. Then let's go to the defense. Because apparently our defense showed up some. And I was happy that our defense showed up some. And the tune of Nate Wiggins getting an interception down there in the hind red zone. That helped us out. Ravens defense came to play. It was off the chain. I was like, oh my God. About time. And the thing of it is that we needed that. We needed some type of spark. But hey, let me talk about this report that I saw today. Remember, I was talking to you about that article that was in the Baltimore Sun. They how they was talking about they took the ping pong tables and all this other stuff out of there? That was Lamar's doing. That wasn't the coaches. Lamar went to Bashadi and said, take all this stuff away. We don't deserve it. We need to focus. We need to do this. Reports all came out for it today. I said, Wow. So Lamar is dead serious. And now the team's like, oh, we need to be dead serious. So I think this kick in the butt is a great thing. Hey, you don't do right? Let me take the game away from you. Let me take away your amenities. We're gonna get this right. That's a true leader. That's a leader. Like, we're gonna get this right, or we don't get to play. I've been trolling Humphrey all season. Yeah, I know you have a lot of people been trolling Humphrey. So my thing with this is that they showed up, they still can improve on some things, like the pass rush that we need. You might not be able to do that. Hey, we gotta do something. The straight deadline coming up. They better do something. They better do something.

SPEAKER_00:

I I I don't know. It seems like y'all are having the the Pittsburgh Steeler itis in your in your pass rush right now. Just a bunch of uh nursing home residents being uh going up and down those rush lanes. It's not pretty no not at all.

SPEAKER_03:

But I was happy for Mike Green because he got a sack on Caleb. So I was happy about that. He was able to uh get a little work in. But here's my thing. Here's my thing. Like you said, and I and I'm gonna take this with you. Trade for Garrett, you know something? You know something that I don't want to get make TJ's uh pressure up, but hey, I would agree with you. We need a big time pass rusher in there. We need a big time pass rusher, and we had the opportunity in the offseason to get one, even if it wasn't a Miles Garrett or uh um a Max Crosby or something like that. We had the opportunity to get one. We did. But if you all know the Ravens, they don't like spending money. They don't. Yep. Matter B game. I saw a report about this one. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but if it is, it's admirable. They say he gave since he's out for the season, he gave back his signing bonus so the Ravens can go get some people to help out with their defense. Wow, that's huge. That's admirable. That's huge. Because, you know, we got pennies down here right now, you know. Ain't nobody the Alice Cowgirls, you know, have all that money over there. And you know, old money. Yeah. So I was very impressed that they were fighting and they're gonna keep fighting. So EDC missed an opportunity. Yes, he did. But let's see what happens with this trade deadline. You give Oway away, right? And look what he goes out there and does with the Chargers. Going out there and beasting. Beast it. Man ain't have a sack, but he went out there and got like three. So I was happy that they're doing, but this still really ain't Baltimore football. You understand what I'm saying? It's it's not. And I'm like, that's why I picked on the whole AFC North today. Because the simple fact, we gotta get back to the basis. We're not feared anymore. We're not. We are not feared anymore. We was feared. AFC North was feared. We're not feared anymore. They say oh, we're going to Baltimore, that's a joke. We're gonna whip up on her. Detroit made us look bad. Buffalo made us look bad. Oh, let's not talk about Houston. And they beat the 49ers. They beat the 49ers. I meant I meant to call I meant to call Dave to see how he was feeling about that. But this is we're not feared anymore. You're right, bring back bully ball. We have to do that. We have to do that. But I'm off my soapbox off the AMC North now. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Um well let's let's talk about this team behind me real fast. Yeah, that's what's come on, let's go. Uh, you still in here? I um I just want to do a uh a trivia question real quick before we uh go go have a deep dive into this game real quick. Uh who in the NFL has 16 touchdowns and only one interception on the season? Would anybody like to take a guess on who those quarterbacks are? Anyone? Anyone? You can you can leave a comment if you want to, if you if you're feeling frisky. Don't cheat. Don't don't use chat GPT, don't, don't use Google, don't, don't use Siri, don't use any one of those things. Don't cheat. Who is The NFL has 16 touchdowns and only one interception. Anyone would like to take a guess? Anybody? Huh? Damon, would you like to take a guess?

SPEAKER_03:

Anybody? I would say probably a guy named by the name of Jalen Hurts.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yes! That guy. You know, the guy that everybody swears is like the sky is falling on a random Sunday afternoon. And yes, sometimes I'm guilty. Sometimes I could be everyone. It's okay. Nevertheless, Jalen Hurts has been playing fantastic this year. And I I wish I wish that there would be more highlights of all the great throws and all the great decision making he's making with all these games that he's played so far this year. But so far, you ask anybody on ESPN, on Fox, or or or or hell, anywhere, they'll tell you, man, that offense is just ugh, it's just something's just not right. I I don't know. Jalen Hurts just doesn't look he doesn't look too good. I don't know. Like, I don't know what we need to do. It's uh oh. He has 16 touchdowns and one interception on the season. But yet, I hear all these names for MVP. I hear uh uh Jonathan Taylor, rightfully so I hear uh Patrick Mahomes after last night. Apparently he's back in the conversation. Uh I I've heard his name. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Exactly. I'm hearing that name. I'm hearing Jonathan Taylor, rightfully so. Again, I'm hearing Christian McCaffrey, right? You know, who's carrying the 49ers by himself. All right, cool, great stuff. No one said a lit about the Jalen Hurts-led Philadelphia Eagles. And I wonder why. I wonder why. But you know what? I'm not even gonna wonder anymore. You wonder why? Because all we're just gonna do is just find different ways to win. Last week, we decided to have a perfect passer rating and only have three to four incompletions the entire game. 326 yards. Devontae Smith had a touchdown. Great stuff. And then Sunday happened. And we said, you know what? AJ Brown's not there. We're missing our center. Okay. Let's just use Saquon. Saquon goes in. By the way, he is not the only running back that had 100 yards on Sunday. We also had Tank Bisby. Shout out to Tank, by the way. He ended up getting 100 yards himself. All right. By the way, Jalen Hurts still finished the game with not one, not two, not three, but four touchdowns on the day with no interceptions. Now, for those of you out there that's like, well, it's the Giants. You want to know what I was hearing two weeks ago? Oh my god, you can't lose to the Giants. What was that? It's the Giants. They're a joke. Oh my God. What what it's the Giants? It's the you gonna let Jackson Dart? You gonna let Cam Scadaboo? You gonna let the Frat Boys beat you? Really? That's what I heard two weeks ago. So I don't want to hear shit about the Giants. We beat a divisional opponent at home, and we beat them handsomely, the way that a good team is supposed to. Don't want to hear it. Also, sidebar. I uh saw the play where Scataboo got hurt. Now, it sucks, by the way, because and I hope he has the speed of recovery. Because even as an Eagles fan, I had to admit, I enjoyed watching Scatterboo play. Every time Scatterboo touched the ball, it was it was some type of highlight. Somebody was getting ran over. He was gonna score. Something crazy was gonna happen. Every single time he touched the ball. Fantastic stuff. But then on the play that he got hurt was it sucked because he ran a similar route to score on us the previous drive. But instead of him going into the middle like he was supposed to on the last play, he went on the outside, which confused the linebacker that we had covering. He ended up scoring. Well, on that same play where he got hurt, they did it again, but except this time, he went into the middle. Well, of course, Dart throws the ball, he misses him, and he it's basically a hip drop tackle. Now, I don't know if I don't know who at Fox had the camera perfectly set up the way that they did, but they had it set up perfectly. The camera was on Scataboo when he was on the ground. And when you see his uh I I can't I can't tell by feet right now. When you see his left leg, right, you see his left leg, you see his foot, he's on the ground, and you see him holding his head, but he's also signaling for somebody to get him up. We're like, oh, okay, I guess he's fine. But then I realize, wait, I'm not seeing the other foot with the other ankle. I'm not seeing the two feet beside each other. Well, the way the camera shot was set up, the way that I I don't like talking about injuries like this, but the way that his ankle was torn, was, was twisted the other direction was so perfectly done that his other foot cut it off to where you couldn't see the way it was looking. And you could obviously you saw the players running for the medicals to get onto the field and and help him out. I look usually I don't talk about camera angles. That for because usually when gruesome injuries happen, like it's like once it's showed on on live TV, you can't ignore it, you can't dismiss it. It happened, you you can't do nothing about it. That camera was so perfectly done that all you saw was his left leg with his left foot up, and you did not see the ankle. And it was crazy. And I I want to shout out Philly fans real quick because so many times we get all this flack about how we're the most rambunctious fan base in the world, how you know we we are one of the most hated fan bases to be around, can't be in their stadium, all this other stuff. I thought it was very remarkable on Sunday when Scatterboo got carted off that he got carted off, and you just hear the entire crowd cheer him on as he's going out going into the locker room.

SPEAKER_02:

I thought that was fantastic stuff.

SPEAKER_00:

That was a couple. Yeah, that was that was fantastic stuff. And um, Scatterboo, look, uh look, I ain't gonna lie. I'm kind of tired of you whooping her ass every single play. So get well soon and do that somewhere else. But when you play up, just go easy. I I don't know what that is for you because you only you only have one speed. But uh I hope for a speedy recovery because he was playing fantastic. Him and Dart are making the Giants watchable, and you can tell that the Giants looked deflated after he got hurt. The entire offense couldn't do a thing after that. It was like they couldn't function, and rightfully so. Because when, you know, we see injuries all the time, it's next man up, you know, people still play, you you keep playing, people got money to make, cool. But when something like that happens, when something as gruesome as that injury happened on full display for for most of those players to see, it was like, yeah, there ain't no coming back from that. And their offense looked like they could not, they they could not function after that. It was like, look, I we we we can't catch a ball, we can't move the we we can't move down the field, we can't do nothing because that injury was so brutal and and and messed our entire offensive game plan up. We we we I uh no I don't blame them. I don't blame them. It was rough if you're a Giants fan, because it's like you you're starting to get something good, and then all of a sudden that injury happens. That sucks. If you're a Philly fan like myself, go Berts. I am I am completely encouraged. I am in I am completely encouraged. We're about to go into a bye week. So AJ Brown and some of these guys that that have been hurt and that missed games, they're starting to get healthy. Hopefully, we see them uh post the bye week, see how everybody's looking. But uh yeah, um, we want to talk about everybody else being an MVP conversation. Yeah, I don't I don't hear a single peep about Jalen Hurts, and I think that's a joke. I think that's a mockery, I think that's a travesty. I I think that's everything in between. I think that's asinine. I I think it's it's it's legitimate, ludicrous that no matter what Jalen Hurts does, he doesn't get any praise, any highlight whatsoever. But the moment he throws an interception, the moment he has a fumble, oh my god, the sky is falling, and Jalen Hurts is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league. Y'all are jokes. Y'all are some shit, and all we're gonna do during this process is just keep winning, and that's totally fine. And in the process, I don't want to hear shit after this about oh man, I guess Jalen Hurts is pretty is playing pretty good after all. Maybe we should put him in the MVP conversation. No, you want to know what I got to I got two words for you, and no, I'm not a part of DX. You want to know what those two words are? Fuck you. Don't want to hear it. Don't want to hear it. He's been playing out of his mind, he's been playing incredible, and honestly, if it wasn't for him playing the way that he's playing, we would have lost quite a few games this year. I'm not joking. So I say that to say I want to put the highlight on the uh, not just any quarterback, the Super Bowl-winning Super Bowl MVP quarterback that's been playing well this season. That should be in the MVP conversation. I just had to put that out there. Just saying. Just saying.

SPEAKER_03:

Hey, who's going to disagree with you? Oh, I'm sorry. All the sports analysts are gonna disagree with you. You know something? This is this is what we do to them. We just do this. Yeah, that's what we do to them. There you go. That's exactly what we do to them. But uh there's one more team that I do want to talk about. And you know, I mean, every chance we get to take shots at them, hey, why not? Down there where you are. Oh just saying.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh uh, well, one one team, one team in Texas won. So I'm pretty sure you are referring to the uh Alice Cowgirls. Are we certain on that? Is that is that where you're going?

SPEAKER_03:

Hey, at this point, we should start censoring them like the uh NFC South, except Campa Bay, bro, bro. Look, I'm just saying, I'm just saying. Um, do you want to say thank you now? Thank you to uh the Broncos. Thank you, Broncos. Thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

Let me channel my inner chat gable. Thank you.

SPEAKER_03:

Um hated division rival in Washington. I mean, you know, the love-hate relationship on that one is off the chain, right? But the very next week you get the same thing done to you by the Denver Broncos. Not to mention you're up there in mile high, right? Yep. That's what I'm gonna blame it on. Yeah, they went to Denver, yeah, they went to Colorado. I'm gonna blame it on that, right? That I went into up there. Everybody's got them high up there, okay? Everybody's talking soft. It's gotta be that they went to one of those shops up there. I I'm I'm just saying. I'm just saying they were in Denver, you know. No excuse that you got C D and Pickens, and you only scored 24 points.

SPEAKER_00:

24.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, that's it.

SPEAKER_00:

And a lot of those points were garbage time. A lot of those points were garbage time.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, but yeah, that means Denver had a defense. Oh, something something that Dallas don't have. Gotcha. I understand. I uh and again, a game I didn't see, but I was keeping up with the highlights, and I was like, wait a minute, what? Wait a minute, what man? I was walking through BWI and I looked over at the screen. I said, and I kept walking. And the reason I laughed because I was like, oh, that's a shellacking. First I used it there. Second, shellacking. Any Dallas fans in here? You want to defend your team? I mean, win, lose, or draw. I mean, any Dallas fan. Now, my boy, he's he's a true Dallas fan, and he just he puts up the L all the time. We about to take this L right here. It's L. I'm a diehard Dallas fan. He said, but I'm a realist. We suck. Plain and simple. He said, Man, we suck. It is what it is, you know. Until things change, a regime change happens in Dallas, it's probably gonna be like that for a while. And I was just talking to a couple Dallas fans, and they was like, Man, the son ain't no better. I was like, What? They said if he takes over, it's probably gonna be the same. Yeah, yeah, wow. I'm like, wow, sucks to be old with all that money. You you can't be the smartest person all the time. That's what you pay these coaches for, that's what you pay uh all this help for for them to make the decisions for you. Oh, you do have to sit back and watch me work, but you don't you micromanage ever oh man wait? Did I say micromanage? Yeah, you micromanage everything, everything, everything, everything if something goes wrong. How many times has Jerry went down on that damn field from that box? Quite a bit. Quite a bit. What are you telling your head coach? There's nothing you should be telling your head coach. Stay up there in your box, let them guys work, and it is what it is. And we talked about this. That's why Belichick wouldn't have gone to uh Dallas. Those two egos wouldn't have got along at all. At all. But he's having problems in North Carolina right now, so we ain't gonna pick on Bill. Oh my word, please. Yeah, so I I'm I'm off I'm off little D because they they have no D there. I'm off little D.

SPEAKER_05:

You say you're off of two, but I might even go to the watch, obviously. I just want to obviously.

SPEAKER_03:

Listen, I I'm I'm done with them. I'm done with I'm done. But matter of fact, I'm done, period. Unless there's something else you want to say. Because we don't need to talk about anything else because uh everybody else got like someone blown out the water. We don't need to talk about Buffalo. It's not like they really played anybody. I don't think the drink played, so I do want to say one more one more thing, one more thing. The 49ers. The 49ers I just knew they were gonna beat the Texas and that was and another couple couple coworkers went to that game, and I saw some of their posts talking about I think I'm at the wrong game. I said, Well, let me look up the score for them saying that. And I saw that, I said, Wow.

SPEAKER_00:

So hey, listen, I at one at one point, I think Christian McCaffrey had like six yards passing, and no, he had like six carries for like eight yards or something like that, like that. Yeah, and Mac Jones had had 18 yards passing. It was like what is going on here? Now we already know we all know the defense was looking good. We all know the Houston Texas defense was good. We didn't have to question that. But but to see that was like, whoa. Now, in fairness to Fort Niners fans, it's like I I think it's about time. I think y'all have had a lot of breaks.

SPEAKER_02:

Y'all won a lot of games and y'all should have lost. And look, the shoe was falling on the other foot. Y'all dealt with too many injuries. I don't care that George Kittle is back. I I don't care.

SPEAKER_04:

Right, right.

SPEAKER_00:

You still don't have Brock Purdy. You I I can go on and on. I feel like the injury list is about the size of this paper right now. It's like it's like it's like, alright, this guy's out, that guy's out, that guy's out, that guy is out, this guy is out, he's doubtful, he's out, out, out, out, out, season injury, okay, out, out again, out some more, out, out, out, out, out, out. Like, that's every time they go into a press conference and they go over the injury report, that's how long the list is. In detail. Like, everyone on that roster is out.

SPEAKER_02:

So it's about time that y'all came down the earth a little bit. And y'all, y'all are starting to lose the games that y'all should have lost. It's okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Y'all, y'all, I've had the whole roster taken away due to injuries, which sucks. But the the expectation of y'all been in these games was was kind of by the skinny or east a little bit. Shout out to Mike to Kyle Shannon for the great game plans and having the defense play as hard as they did. Great stuff. But we all knew that with all these injuries that kept happening, it was like they can't, they can't keep winning. They can't keep winning with all these injuries. They can't. So it wasn't a shocker to me. Yeah, it wasn't a shocker to me personally, seeing that was Sunday, but was it rough? Was it a rough watch? Yeah, it was pretty bad.

SPEAKER_03:

It was pretty bad. Yeah, like I said, I gotta check on Dave. I gotta check on Dave. But all right, we're winding it down. No one wanted to call us today. Okay, it's all good. It's all good.

SPEAKER_00:

Before we get out of here. First of all, I want to shout out my lovely lady for these lovely glasses. I can't believe I'm doing the sparseship on the way out. That's kind of what it feels like I'm doing. I'm not doing that. Shout out to lovely lady for the glasses.

SPEAKER_02:

It makes me feel like I'm two times smarter, but ten times more angrier. Thank you. Now that I got that out of the way. I want to create an official apology. This time last week, we did the brown bag segment, which is one of my favorites. And uh I only had one brown bag, and that brown bag was made for one player.

SPEAKER_00:

And by that one player, I mean uh Tua Tugablova, who played so bad and threw an interception so bad, played a game so so bad last week, that they had a highlight of the Cleveland Browns getting a pick off of him. And then in the middle talking about the interception, they said, Oh, to just do another pick. And they showed the highlight of him throwing the following interception.

SPEAKER_02:

Tremendous rightly bad stuff. Well, people to Sunday, and they decided to put up 40 points on the road to the uh y'all thought I wasn't gonna bring that up, was ya? Oh, y'all thought that was y'all thought that was dead or the week alone. I'm going to remove um the uh black ball brown bag list. That he is is officially removed. Okay. We are now going to put the in there and they may not get out. They may not get out. Now, I understand they didn't have Drake London. I understand they didn't have Michael Pitts. However, what I saw at home was a joke. With a backup quarterback quarterback, by the way, that you are paying, I don't know, almost 30 million dollars to be your backup quarterback. And that was the performance that we saw. It was so bad. How bad was it? It was so bad. That going up. No, I'm sorry. I won't win the game, the score was 31. Wait. 313. What is going on here? It was embarrassing. It was a bad watch, and what? I'm not gonna call it that for last week, because even you know that actually was bad. That was just that was just But hey, I will give you a break because the team you beat is so gullible. It's so Singy!

SPEAKER_04:

I have I have synchronized, I have I have talked trash about the front office. I felt bad about the quarterback play, I felt bad about the team, I felt I felt bad about everything that there is about I have, I have you know, because of you alone too, yes, I'm talking to you Man Man, you mano Imano You sir, single-handedly O NL team in the black ball brown back show by themselves.

SPEAKER_00:

Because of you, because of your performance on Sunday. You have now placed them there, they're there by themselves, and honestly, the way things are going, they may never get out, and they won't. Maybe they shouldn't. It looks like a dumpster fire, it looks like a joke. Their head coach looks like they're about to get fired. Officer coordinator don't know what he's doing, defense coordinator can't stop nobody. The front office is a joke. They decide to pay somebody$30 million to be in their backup quarterback. Their backup quarterback comes in. He doesn't know how to throw past five yards. It's it's horrendous. It's horrendous. And that alone, Tua, you, sir. I'll remove you all the way up here. You're still high. You're still high. Because last week was last week. I cannot forget that. That did happen. That did happen in front of us. So you're still high. You're still up here, but you're no longer top shelf. You have now found a way to reposition yourself out of that position. I commend you for that. Round of applause. In fact, uh, we we got a we got a crowd for you. We we we commend you for finding a way to do that. Well done. R the fuckbo. The our top shelf by themselves. By themselves after Sunday. The our top shelf. That's the top shelf. When you go to your your your restaurant, Damon, I know you love to eat your your your steak and you like to have your meals. When the next time you go to a restaurant and you look at the top shelf, all you're gonna see is the all the way at the very top. Can't miss it. Can't miss it. That's how bad it is. That's how bad it is. So the next time you have a steak, just when you when you ask for top shelf, just know that you're gonna see the on full display. You're gonna see the logo, you're gonna you're gonna see the whole decal on full display. Can't miss it, can't ignore it. I just had to put that out there. I I I feel like that's the brown bag within itself. That's that's it for me. I don't have nothing else. Nothing else. That's it, period.

SPEAKER_03:

We done. We done that that was enough. Because hey, like I said, we're gonna see what Alice does next week, and then we're gonna probably put them in there too. Oh boy, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. But hey, we thank each and every last one of you for your comments, coming in, enjoying, having fun with us. We're gonna sign off to next week. But uh, oh yeah, Thursday night football. And we got Miami.

SPEAKER_05:

There you go.

SPEAKER_03:

Putting them right back in there.

SPEAKER_00:

I might it's okay, but for this week alone, they they they get they hey that top shelf right there, full display, baby. Full display.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, we thank each and every last one of you. We will see you next week again. The work schedule's starting to calm down, but uh Washington, y'all got three home games coming up. Oh, I'm not looking for but it is what it is. The second and uh wait, man, I think they playing Detroit, ain't they? No, not this week. That's Minnesota. They should win that game. They should win that game, but uh I know they got Detroit coming. I know they got the let me see. Let me see. Hey, and Steelers, y'all got the Colts. Good luck. The Lions, the Lions got the Vikings. Yeah, they got Minnesota, yeah. Yeah. Oh, they playing the Seahawks.

SPEAKER_02:

SPEAKER_03:

Good luck. That's an L. That's Mike McDonald. That's Mike McDonald's. That's Sam Darnold. So is that JFN?

SPEAKER_00:

SPEAKER_03:
