Since launching her tyromancy practice in 2021, Jen has hosted sold-out cheese reading events across Chicago (and virtually), interpreting everything from artisan brie and gouda to Kraft Singles (witch Kraft, if you will). 


Beyond her edible divination work, Jen is a journalist and author who’s been writing about witchcraft, food, and history for nearly 20 years, with bylines in The New York Times, Smithsonian, The Atlantic, Wired, National Geographic, and more. Her books include best-sellers on the metaphysical properties of gemstones, historic bakeries, and astrology.
