Connecting With Archangels

Hello everyone , welcome to our Spiritual Spotlight Series . Today , I am joined by Debra Shieldhouse . She is an author of two books . One that we're going to be talking about mainly today is how to Chat with Archangels Inviting your Divine Best Friends into your Life . She also wrote another amazing book , biotouch Healing with the Power in Her Fingertips . Debra , thank you so much for being on the Spiritual Spotlight Series . I'm really happy to have you here today . Thank you , rachel . I'm so happy to be here . So let me ask you this Can you and we're just going to jump right in can you maybe share about your initial experiences in 2011 , when you started conversing with archangels ? What was the moment you realized that you had this unique ability ?

Well , that's what's so interesting . It isn't unique , but I didn't know it at the time , because all of us can do this . This is why I wrote the book . Right , I want everyone to do this and I want to teach everyone how , because I kind of stumbled on my own way of doing it .

But it was in 2011 that I had gotten an email , and at that time , this email was going around the country inviting people to host five of the archangels in their home for five days , and so I was like so excited because I'd always had this affinity to the archangels and I had seen the movie Michael in 96 . And I wanted to have a relationship with an archangel like in that movie . And here was an opportunity to say , yes , let them come into your house for five days . And so I did . I followed the directions . You've set up an altar and a few other things , and they were supposed to come in at 1030 at night on February 23rd 2011 . I'll never forget it and stay until five nights later . Then you were to send them off to three other people who had agreed to host them , and so I did this , and it was just I didn't know what to expect really , but it far exceeded my expectations .

The second night they were there . I kind of figured out how to communicate with them and from then on it was an incredible five days and at the end of the five days I was crying because I didn't want them to leave and I had to walk them to the door and send them off . And I was crying because I didn't want them to leave and I had to walk them to the door and send them off . And I was crying and I said I know that . You know you have to go to these three other people , but I also know you're omnipotent and you can be at thousands of places at one time with thousands of people at once . So I'm going to ask you please don't leave me . Please stay with me always . And they did , they have , they're still with me now .

They've been with me this now 13 years , and let me ask you this , for those that you know maybe a little nervous or whatnot it sounds like you had this beautiful experience . Did you have any fear or hesitation in inviting the angels in ?

No , you know , surprisingly , I didn't . I didn't have that much experience or background . You know we think of them as these very serious , dour beings that you know you really couldn't like , have any fun with or , you know , get close to , and that's wrong , you know . And they're not attached to any religion either . They love us all , no matter , you know , what we believe or what we don't believe .

And so I have found out that they were created by God to help humans . Out of the nine ranks of angels , it's the archangels who are actually a bridge between God and us , and they just want to help us . They each have an area or areas of expertise to help humans , and they also project colors of the light spectrum . So they were designed to help us , and they're just waiting for us to ask them to come into our lives .

That is so true . So your book how to Chat with Archangels oh , I can show it if you want . Yes , please show us , can you like ? What motivated you to kind of share the knowledge that you learned with having this beautiful moment with archangels and , obviously continuing to have you know ? It's almost like this relationship , this powerful , dynamic , supportive relationship , what inspired you to write the book and also how to teach other people how to connect with archangels .

Well , it was . I'll tell you exactly what it was it was COVID-19 . Was it was COVID-19 . So when that hit , everybody I knew was so upset and depressed and sad and hopeless and I , by that time , that was 2020 . I had been chatting I call it chatting because they're our divine best friends . We chat and I've been chatting with them for about nine years and I was getting these encouraging , loving messages and I realized how miserable people were and I was like , okay , it's time , it's time for me to write my second book . It's time for me to write my Archangel book and share all the guidance and protection and knowledge and unconditional love that I have received over these years . I have to get it out there . People have to understand they're not alone , they are important , they are loved . And I said this is the time , and so the book just came out in August .

It is a very like you even just reading like how she started this journey . It's a very powerful moment . It's just like wow . And and I also have to commend you for trusting an email for how to set up communion with the , with the archangels . I'm like chain mail delete like you know .

So the funny thing is , when people hear about that , they say I want that email and I did . I Googled it . It still comes up with all the original information that I . What I tell people is you don't need to do any of the things that were in that email , right , don't have to set up an altar , you don't have to do this . And that All you have to do and this is the simple part you just have to , because we have free will and it's a universal law . We have to ask them in because they can't intrude upon us without our permission , even to help us , except , I would say , in matters of life and death , right ? So you just all you have to do is say Archangels , please come into my life , I need help , thank you , and really feel that gratitude down deep in your heart , and that is really all you need to do . That's the green light and you only need to do that part once .

Absolutely , that's beautiful . So you kind of brought up a point about how some of the archangels may have different roles . So in your conversations with Michael Gabrielle and Raphael , how have you find their roles differ and maybe what are some specific areas in life do they assist with ?

Oh so Archangel Michael he is the angel of protection and he protects our bodies , our souls , our spirits . He protects us against people wanting to do ill will towards us . He also is the angel of justice . So if you've got a court case , you know , you know , if you want the truth to come out , have him with you , ask him to come with you to court . If you're traveling , he's also the angel of travel . If you have him come along , things will go a lot smoother .

Archangel Raphael is the angel of healing and he heals us mind , body , soul and spirit . He is incredible to have , no matter what is going on in your life , to help you heal . Archangel Uriel he's the angel of weather , wisdom and light , and so if you're going through a dark time , if you need to study for a test , if you just need to shine a light on something that's going wrong in your life , or if you wanted to calm down some weather like we're having out there today , call upon Angel Uriel . So they all have these amazing ways to help us in our everyday life . If we employ them in our everyday life , it's a game changer .

Wow , I love that . So you've mentioned showcasing angelic signs to your skeptical husband . Can you maybe share how these experiences influenced his views and your understanding of angelic communication ? He ?

used to be so skeptical . I mean , first of all , he's an accountant and he , at the time I first started chatting with the archangels , he had not been really examining his own spirituality yet , and you know it's okay to have skepticism .

Of course it's proven to you , why not ? You're better off . But it's so funny because over the years he has had so many signs that he could see to prove to him what was really happening with between the archangels and myself

. And they again I think part of their sense of humor is they like to send signs in front of Howard . So the first big sign that I ever got I had been talking to them for about eight months I guess , and I said to them one day you know I love our conversations , but could you just send me a big sign so I know for sure you're really with me . And I mean make it so big that I can't possibly miss it . And so then I went and told Howard . I said , honey , I said I asked the angels to send me a big sign that I can't miss . And he's like , okay , great .

Well , two days later he just happens to go out to the backyard to get something we were living in Tucson at the time and he opens the door back . He says hurry up , get my phone and come out here Floating over our house . If you can see this picture , this is our . This was the only cloud in the sky . It was a huge angel and it was floating over the house and then it just floated across the yard and it went over the wall and toward the mountains and I'm like that's a big sign I couldn't have't have missed .

But I would have missed it if Howard Hinton just happened to come out at that exact moment . Right , wow , yes . And I said well , honey , you know , what do you think of the angels now ? And he says I think I'm a believer . I love that First sign of this kind , but I love this so much and I was so lucky that the man who designed the cover of my book was able to use this image , because I adore it so much and it says everything .

It does 100% . It's like , yes , we're here , we're with you , I love that .

And then I got to show you one more . Yes , yes , yes . So , and I mean it's all in the book , all the details . But all I'll say is that I was going through a rough time . I had had a back injury and I was recovering and it had been a rough road and a new archangel had come through to me the night before and his name was Angel Raziel and he came through , encouraging me , saying you know , you're back , I know it's rough now , but you're gonna be okay , things are gonna be fine , you're gonna just heal and heal . And it was really lovely to hear that . And then the next day , when Howard and I went to lunch and we were sitting in front of these big windows and the sun was coming in and it was a glorious day all of a sudden Howard's staring at me . I had just said to him . A new archangel , raziel , came through to me last night and said I was going to be okay and he said , thank God . Well , all of a sudden he's staring at me because there is , if you can see .

Oh my gosh , look at that , there were , there was a whole prism on my face .

That is amazing , and Howard's looking around and he says I don't get it there . This prism is not on me , it's not on the table , it's not on any of these other people , it seems to be coming from inside of you . Yes , as cool as that was , and it lasted for about 10 minutes , and even the waiter said he'd never seen that happen to anyone in five years of working there . Yeah , even cooler part , and I didn't know it at the time , but remember I said that each arc angel project color angel Raziel projects the rainbow .

Oh my goodness , is that not perfect , or what ?

I get the chills again . Just the whole thing . And again , it happened right in front of Howard . So how can he be a skeptic at this point ? That is amazing . This is what happens when you invite them into your life . These most amazing things . You can't believe it .

You can't . Oh my gosh , I love that . Oh my goodness , I I love that . Oh my goodness . I'm like , oh my goodness , I'm actually thinking of um , my one of my family members . They started cancer treatment about a year ago and the day before I was praying and everything , and I swear I took a picture of like an angel in the sky and I'm trying to find it for you right now , but it's okay , I will find it , because I was like , oh my goodness , this is confirmation that you're going to be healed . And I will tell you , as now she has stage four breast cancer but as of , I think , two weeks ago , for her MRI , no evidence of active disease . Thank God , is that amazing ? And you know what ?

You can ask Archangel Raphael to help other people . Yeah , as long as the person is open to it and okay with it . They don't , you know , cause they have free will , but it's just something else . It's another wonderful tool , just you know , to to make you feel I can do this , so true .

I love that . So , transitioning a bit to your first book , bio , touch healing with the power of our fingertips discusses a touch healing technique . How do you see the relationship between physical touch healing and the spiritual angelic communication ?

Speaker 2 15:51

Oh , that's really an interesting question . You know the power of human touch . I think it's all wrapped up in . We don't realize we are spiritual beings , we are light beings and we have more power than we have been shown or told , and I think it just wraps it all together , Anything that you can do to give yourself an edge here .

You know it's tough down here , yeah , and that's why God not only created the archangels , but why he gave us these intuitive powers . He gave us the ability to heal , he gave us all these things . But it's just a matter of finding out , going down a spiritual path and finding out what resonates with us , because there's so much out there that we haven't been told . And you know God loves us enough to have provided all of this with us . And with BioTouch I was seeing so many amazing things . We were just using these four fingers to touch specific points on the body , bringing down inflammation , pain , all kinds of disease symptoms were gone . People just felt so much better and I mean there was something so special about that , with just human touch , that we really can't even quite understand , but our bodies seem to understand it . That's so true . It reminds our bodies that they know how to heal .

That's so true . That's so true . I love that . So you emphasize that chatting with archangels is a natural human experience . For someone who might need to be new to this concept , what's maybe one of the first steps they can take to open up this channel of communication ?

You know and it's funny because I always say , the hardest thing about chatting with archangels is really believing you can , and it is a natural thing when we get out of the way . And so basically you know it helps to just get into a quiet place and where you're not going to be disrupted because you are really removing yourself from your daily life and all the you know noise and commotion and you're putting yourself into a place that you can go within , right , and you're taking some deep breaths so that you can relax . And you know you are getting kind of in that zone and you are taking a pen and paper because studies have shown that when you are actually writing you are connecting . There are areas in your brain , there are neural pathways that light up when you are writing , just like meditation .

So , it actually is like a meditation , and so I discovered that when I write a question to the angels , and I speak it out loud at the same time , and I'm open , I'm having some breathing , and what happens is that they are , they meld . Actually , archangels are able to meld their energies with ours . Actually , archangels are able to meld their energies with ours . Wow , and that's what it's not really like automatic writing where you say , take my pen and write something . It's not that at all right . You're actually you're , you're an equal participant and you are melding , they are melding with you . And so what's happening is you're opening up what's called your clairsenses .

We all have a sixth sense and that has just not really been mostly developed for most people , right , but the more you use it it's like anything else the you know , the stronger it gets . And we have eight clairsenses and we're claircognizant , we're clairvoyant , we're clairaudient , we're clairgustant and allians and all these clairs and what that really means is these are pathways where they can get through to us . So when I'm like chatting with the archangels or writing it down on paper , I am hearing in my right ear the words , and sometimes that's clairaudient , and sometimes I'm seeing the words beforehand and that's clairvoyant . And you know , they know your clear senses , the best ones , in order to get through to you and that's basically what you're doing , and that is this amazing connection .

And I have taught several people well , actually several groups of people how to do this . Because I asked the angels there's nothing special about me here , right ? And they said nope , nope , sorry , no , everybody can do it if they have a human soul . And when I taught these people , every one of them had some manner of communication that first time of them had some manner of communication that first time . And so I was like , yes , now I know I can write the book and tell everybody that there's nothing special about one person or another . We're all special in this way .

I love that . So how has your life changed since you began communicating with archangels , and what have been some of the most profound lessons or guidance you received from them ?

Wow , you know I want to read you something . I asked the archangels why did they love humans so much ? Oh , I love that question . And archangel Jebediah came through one night and he said we love you because we know how you were created with fibers and filaments of light and adoration from the one . Every single soul who is or has ever lived on this earth was rightfully created within the loving veneration of God . There will be a day that will dawn with the shared realization of just how important you all really are .

I could cry every time and just the amount of love that they have for us and knowing that it colors your life in so many ways that you can't even realize . You know , I have a very , I've been very blessed . I have a loving marriage . We're going to be married 50 years in June Amazing and we have two amazing kids and I have had a wonderful , wonderful life , but I have never realized this kind of love , this unconditional . They're always there for you .

No matter what the messages that I get and as I tell people , their messages are always encouraging and uplifting . They're always on your side . They want to help you to understand what's going on in your life . They want to help you look at things in a way that you can learn . They're very interested in our spiritual path and keeping us on it , and they never shame or blame or or pretend you know they're , they're angry with us and you're blah , blah , it's . It's never anything like that . Yeah , no , you're always in their eyes . You are a piece of God , wow , and so they adore us , and that changes your life and how you look at everything wow , I love that .

I love that . So , for readers of your new book , what do you hope they gain or experience ? Is there maybe a particular transformation or realization that you wish for them ?

Speaker 2 23:27

yes , you know I get letters from emails from all over the world . People send me their the issues that they're going through . They share with me some very , very painful things that are going on in their lives . It's very sad , it's very hard to hear . You know , they're looking for hope . That's what this book gives people . That's what having a relationship with the archangels gives people . Yeah , people hope , and that's what I want people to have . That's why not only did I write this book , but I am creating a workshop .

You know , ultimately , without all these stringent rules and regulations and you've been wrong and you've done wrong and all that it's it's that's what I want to give people .

practices ? You know it's funny . From the time I was a little girl , I love books , I loved reading and I wanted to be an author and the one thing you know , I've written these two books that you know are so special to me , but what I've never even thought about is writing a children's book .

Oh , perfect , perfect . I love that .

I was thinking , you know , I could write either a children's book or maybe more than one , maybe maybe to kind of introduce them a little bit to the archangels you know in in a different kind of a way . And then , um , I made up these characters for our children when they were little , and our children even now they'll say have you , you know , you're going to write that book about the you know the queedles that you made up it made up this name and everything about these little people when we were walking in the woods . Yeah , oh , I forgot . Oh , yeah , the queedles . Maybe I'll write a book about the queedles . So that's kind of fun for me to think about . Yeah , you know , in a different way that's such a great idea .

So for our last question , for our listeners who might be curious or even skeptical about communicating with archangels , what advice would you give them to begin exploring this divine connection in their own lives ?

well , certainly read the book because I have so many details in there and so much information . Um , sign up for my workshop because you know I'm going to be really taking you step by step . Um , it's about I don't know , it's probably going to be really taking you step by step . It's about I don't know , it's probably going to be a little more than an hour long and you know I really , you know just kind of show , you know the process to and and open up to it and see what , how this can change your life . You're , it's good to be skeptical until you see different , and that's okay , that's actually , that's better . Haven't proven to you , like it was to my husband , because there was not any bigger skeptic than him before .
