Showing Promise is a general-discussion podcast "hosted" by me, Matt. I had the idea of making a podcast back in 2021, and in true perfectionist fashion, I kind of actually sort of started working on it in 2022. If you know me, you know I talk a lot, so this felt like a logical outlet for all those words.
Episodes often drift toward music (because I love it), but really, anything goes. I just enjoy talking to people. So, while there’s no set theme or schedule—to heck with the algorithm—you can expect frequent banter, colorful commentary, and the occasional crass detour. Sometimes it's me and friends, sometimes it's just me rambling like a caffeinated philosopher. I post episodes when they’re done. That’s it.
This podcast is made purely for the fun of it. If you're into conversational chaos with heart, give it a listen. Thanks for being here!

Well, here goes nothing. It's my first solo episode! If you're thinking, "There’s no way this guy can talk to himself for two hours," think again. Because here it is.
With the recent (hopefully today) announcements about blink-182, I thought this was the perfect time to dive deep into the band's music — sharing not just my personal album rankings, but also stories, opinions, and memories from over the years.
From discovering blink-182 as a kid, to eventually working for one of the founding members, this band has been a huge part of my life for the past 25 years. So join me as I look back, rank the albums from least to most favorite, and reflect on what blink has meant to me, and maybe to you, too.
