The recent hit audio podcast show Blowback Season three: The Korean War has captured the ears of many. On this episode of Veteran Et Cetera my guest C. Derick Varn and I examine the Korean War using the hit Blowback podcast as a guide for a critical dialogue about one of the most gruesome modern wars, the Korean War (1950-1953).
Derick and I provide an analysis that adds information that is not mentioned in the Blowback podcast narrative about the Korean War.
C. Derick Varn is a poet, teacher, and arm-chair theorist. He used to be an expatriate but has returned to the US. He has worked as lecturer on English Literature, Composition, and Intercultural communication as well as a high school teacher in literature, writing, critical thinking and ethics. He was editor for Zero Books.
