In just a short time, our lives have changed dramatically. The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has challenged us all in different ways to cope, adapt, and grow. As we face this global challenge together, we are reminded that health is not an individual experience, but a collective one. As UCLA transitions to an online and virtual format, the Semel Healthy Initiative Center Continues to think outside the box and rely on science as our ally to create a culture of health. In this special series of the LiveWell podcast, we will be interviewing leaders around the world about how we can transition into this new way of life while taking care of our mental health and social well-being.
