Hello, beautiful people. Welcome back to the Sober Butterfly Podcast. If this is your first time here, my name is Nadine. I've been sober since July 5th, 2021, and this podcast is a space where we talk about sobriety, self-trust, growth, travel, dating, healing, and designing a life that actually feels good to wake up to. Today's episode, though, is a little quieter. It's a little more spacious, expansive, I should say. It is the day after Christmas and that strange, cozy, timeless stretch where the year hasn't ended quite yet, but it's no longer what it was. And instead of doing atypical New Year's resolution episode, I wanted to talk about something deeper. Quantum physics. Manifestation and how to intentionally create your dream life in 2026, especially as someone living an alcohol-free conscious life. This episode is meant to be listened to slowly, maybe on a walk, maybe while you're cleaning, maybe while you're just lying on the couch, letting your nervous system land. Let's get into it.
the-sober-butterfly_7_12-26-2025_110141:There's something really special about the days between Christmas and New Year's. The pressure is off. You've done the Christmas shopping, the presents have been opened. The expectations are quieter. Most people are not working during this time of year. Time just feels. Different in psychology and spirituality, there is often a liminal space, which is a threshold between what was. What hasn't fully arrived yet, and interestingly in quantum physics, reality works in a similar way. At the quantum level. Particles don't exist as solid things until they are observed. They exist, as potential as probability. Therefore, nothing is fixed or definite until attention or focus is applied, and that's where we are right now. Your 2026 doesn't exist as a finished product yet. Currently, it exists as a field of possibilities, which means that this moment right now is increasingly powerful.
the-sober-butterfly_8_12-26-2025_110509:Let me break this down in a way that doesn't feel like a college physics lecture. Okay, so at the quantum level, energy is everything. Energy moves in frequencies. Your thoughts, emotions and behaviors all emit frequency. And here's the key part. Reality responds not to what you want. But to what you repeatedly embody. I'm gonna say that again. Reality responds not to what you want, but what you repeatedly embody you are never actually experiencing reality. You are always experiencing your nervous system. So your nervous system is going to dictate what you perceive to be real. That's why, for example, two people can live essentially the identical day. They can go through the same habits, the same behaviors, the same patterns, same schedule and report back. Vastly different experiences even though they had the exact same day. Because you are not actually experiencing reality. You are responding to events as your nervous system feels. So going back to this key tenant here, that reality responds not to what you want, but what you embody, who you are, essentially not what you want, where you focus your attention. Creates the reality that you want. And by the way, another key component of quantum physics is that there are infinite realities that coexist all at once. Which on a basic level is every possibility exists at once. So if you want to quantum leap into your dream life in 2026, you need to align with the version of self that ultimately you were trying to embody or manifest.

You attract who you are Manifestation isn't magic, it is simply feedback. Your nervous system, your habits, your self-talk, your boundaries. Those are the signals that you are sending into the field. The quantum field sobriety plays a massive role. Here. When you remove alcohol, you remove distortion. You remove emotional static, you remove numbing, dissociation, and delayed feedback. Sobriety sharpens your signal. That's why so many people experience career ships, relationship clarity, financial growth, creative breakthroughs after getting sober.
the-sober-butterfly_10_12-26-2025_111046:And that's not because sobriety guarantees an easy life, but because clarity collapses, timelines better and faster, one of the strongest tools to quantum leap into your dream life is visualization. All of the experts, that study quantum physics, manifestations, affirmations, to architect, you know, another reality. Because all of these realities, all of these timelines coexist. One of the strongest tools that you can employ is visualization. Visualization is enveloping all of your senses to see the version of self that you are becoming or wish to become, because eventually you'll live that life because you already know it. You already feel it, you've already seen it. You've already done the time to visualize what that life looks like for you. And getting sober removes that static energy, removes that. Distortion those distractions to where you can get super crystal clear around the reality that you're currently living in based off of how your nervous system is responding and the reality that you're trying to call in to bring into fruition to bring into your next reality.
the-sober-butterfly_11_12-26-2025_111238:Most of us are manifesting wrong. I myself manifested. Incorrectly for years. Okay. I thought manifestation just meant that I'm asking the universe or praying to God, begging him for, you know, a version of life that I'm seeking or for specific things or goals that I'm trying to align myself with. And that's not what manifestation is. That's why manifestation. Isn't working for so many people. People say things like, I'm going to manifest abundance. I'm trying to manifest love. I am hoping to manifest confidence, but trying implies distance in quantum terms, you can't be tuned to lack and arrival at the same time. Deficit and abundance are opposites. So instead of asking, what do I want in 2026, a more powerful question is, who do I need to become so that this life is inevitable? Because it is inevitable. There is that certainty that fixed endpoint in quantum physics because all of these timelines exist. It's just that you're not living in that specific timeline that you're trying to call in. So intention may be like the catalyst that gets you motivated to start thinking about what you want out of life, but identity collapses timelines faster than intention. So you have to embody and become that version of self that you are seeking to live
the-sober-butterfly_12_12-26-2025_111504:And by the way, it is worth noting here that the universe or God, whatever your higher power is, or your guiding light, anytime you're trying to manifest, you could even be calling in these manifestations and harnessing the power from within. It does not need to be an outside entity, but most people are praying to some outside force or calling in something from the universe as an exchange, which is what I do. I work in tandem with the universe, with my higher power with God. And so when you are praying, so to speak, because affirmations are a form of prayer. You should not be praying from a space of deficit or lack. energy does not respond well to begging the universe doesn't respond well to begging, so you need to decree or declare whatever you are trying to call in or manifest as though it is a commandment as though it has already been done, as opposed to asking or pleading or begging as though these things are out of reach and therefore not going to come into fruition without the. Help of some outside force as though it's a miracle. And by the way, manifestations are miracles, but they are promised miracles. You are calling it in as though it's already been done. It's already been delivered. It's almost like you're speaking from a place of gratitude. You're thankful that you've already received said manifestation. It's just a matter of time. It's just a matter of quantum leaping into that reality because it already exists, because you visualized it. You already see that version of self living, that best life in 2026.
the-sober-butterfly_14_12-26-2025_111827:So going back to that liminal space that in between Christmas and New Year's phase, or that quantum window as I call it, I've had some time to really hone in and focus on my vision. For 2026. And yes, my vision does include a vision board, but I've gone about it completely different this year, last year, or this year.'cause we're still in 2025, even though it feels like it's behind us, we're still technically in 25. I didn't create a vision for this year. Vision board. I had some loose goals, but they weren't written down. And there's countless studies out there around. Exponentially achieving goals based off of writing them down and actually having a clear vision behind what your goal entails. So when I look at my vision for 2026, I'm not just manifesting outcomes or goals, I'm anchoring into being the woman I'm becoming. And here's the part I want you to hear clearly. I don't wait for the outcome to start behaving like her. I practice her now today because in the quantum field, the future version of yourself already exists. I've been saying that, and I'll say it again. This version is already real. Your only job is to meet her frequency consistently. showing up as her every day. And does that feel silly? Maybe you feel like you're cosplaying a little bit, but your brain doesn't actually know the difference between reality or perceived reality. I should really say and delusion. That's why, Delusion is healthy. When you tap into visualization and start to get really clear around who you're becoming and who you want to embody, and once you start showing up as her, you can quantum leap faster. That comes from the visualization piece. So when you're. Visualizing and there's tons of ways that you can visualize. It can be through meditation, like closing your eyes and literally thinking about who this person is. It can be through journaling practices. There are tons of prompts out there that have you envision, your ideal day. Creating schedules for like who? Person is who they show up as morning, midday, evening, nighttime. Like what do those routines and systems look like? There are just countless ways to like actually visualize, but once you start to visualize that, you start showing up as that person and embodying them and then becoming them. So once again, your only job is to meet the version of self with the frequency consistently.
the-sober-butterfly_16_12-26-2025_112616:Manifestation is not about forcing outcomes. It's about reducing resistance. Small shifts repeated often. That is, how timelines collapse. As a bonus, I have a framework for you to create a vision board for 2026. Now, I know vision boards are super trendy, very cutesy. I like to use Canva and Pinterest and put together my curated dream life. There's nothing wrong with that, and that can be a visualization tool. However. If you want to maximize the potential for your vision board, I have six concrete steps that you can employ today to help you create the best vision board for 2026. This is not something you can do in an hour, I'm gonna be honest with you. So if you're not entrusted in creating what I think is going to be one of the most impactful vision boards you can make for yourself for 26, then you can skip it. You can do whatever you want. But if you are serious about creating a vision board that actually reflects the identity shift that you are embodying at this time. Hear me out. So step one, start with your power word for 2026, this will serve as your mantra for the year. I think this is a powerful place to start, because once you pick your power word for the year. As you're embodying and becoming this version of self, you can use that word to discern whether or not you should do certain things. So for example, if your word for the year is elevate, because you want to elevate all aspects of your life and you're calling in manifestations that align with elevating, then you can base your decision making. Off of whether or not something is going to elevate your life, right? So if it's not working in alignment with your power word, then it's an easy no. And that's something that I'm really focused in on this year and why I've done so much work towards the end of this year to truly work on a vision board that will serve me in my future. And calling in the manifestations that I'm working on is. Breaking some bad habits. I have some people pleasing tendencies, not wanting to disappoint other people, et cetera. This is an easy baseline for me to decide how I'm going to be moving throughout 2026. If it's not an alignment to my theme word, to my power word for the year, then it's a no, because you know what? I would rather disappoint other people than disappoint myself. This version of self that I'm becoming, and once again, going with the embodiment phase, if I'm already trying to channel the frequency of this person, this woman I'm becoming and want to call in to quantum leap to that version himself, then I have to ask myself like, would she even care? Would she even like give much concern or thought to things that are not serving that power word? I'm not gonna actually share my power word this year with you guys. Yet, because I've also learned through my studies of quantum physics that you have to protect your quantum field. So what that means is. Move in silence at times. I know I have a podcast. I know I'm a chronic oversharer and I will be sharing with you guys. Don't worry. But there are some things that I need to protect, especially in this phase where I'm trying to call in and manifest and become this version of self. I need to be very discerning and very careful around what I share. Especially when they're still in the works and you have to protect your quantum field because whether or not you realize it you are opening that quantum field up to criticism when you may not be ready to actually share with the world It is so important to protect your quantum field because when you share with other people, especially if they're not in alignment to your energy or the frequencies that you're emitting you invite their limiting beliefs. You invite their critiques you can think about it like this, like kids are so fearless, they're so resilient, they're so imaginative, and it's because the world hasn't yet corrupted them. I'll say, right? You ask a 5-year-old, like, what do you wanna be when you grow up? And you'll get numerous responses everything from, I wanna be an astronaut to a ballerina, to a doctor, to whatever it may be, right? Like they have these really big, lofty goals, dreams for their, their life. Visions that have not yet been shrunken or jaded by other people. Or the world, telling them that that's not possible. So sometimes you have to move in silence. Sometimes you have to protect your quantum build and know when or when not to share with other people. That's not to say you can't share with people. But just be mindful that whether people intend to or not, their seeds of doubt may. Infiltrate your quantum field, AKA, what you're trying to bring in, and they could have the best intentions for you. Life is sometimes a mirror, so people project their own insecurities, their own failures, their own limits onto you, and that can often be distorted as an act of. Love. Potentially that person thinks that they're trying to save you from heartbreak or disappointment, but that's not how this works. You have unwavering belief in the version of self that you are calling in because you've done the work, you've done the visualization. You see that version so clearly that nothing will infiltrate, that nothing is gonna steer you wrong. So just keep that in mind that you don't always have to share your vision with other people. So anyway, back to number one. Number one is simply identifying your power word for the year, which will serve as a compass as to how you move throughout 2026. Number two, pick five to 10 high level goals for yourself. This can be anything from income goals, like I'm gonna pay off all my debt to hobbies, like I'm going to learn how to ski to travel. These are my big bucket list travel places that I have to see before the end of 26, et cetera. You need to get super molecular around what that looks like, and not just what that looks like in terms of a specific outcome that you want to achieve in that goal, but what it feels like, once again, we are embodying an identity shift.

the-sober-butterfly_17_12-26-2025_113723:Once you create your five to 10 ish goals for 26, you can use AI like cha, GPT to help you get super molecular around how to embody this goal. Once I created my list of goals, I actually had 18. Um, once I created my list of goals, I took a screenshot of it from my notes app, and then uploaded that screenshot into chat and chat GBT. With the prompt. It was very basic. I just said, help me make these goals super specific so I can manifest them in 26. And so chat wrote me back, she's so on point, she said, okay, Nadine, this list is already powerful. Now we're going to turn vibes into instructions for the universe. Specificity equals manifestation. Fuel. And then she said, I'll do this in a way that feels energetic, not corporate smart goal, boring. She knows me so well think clear intention plus measurable anchor plus emotional why? She then created my 2026 manifestation goals that are super specific. Somewhat of the smart goal, like specific, measurable, like whatever the acronym stands for. When I say smart goals, like action aligned whatever. She did give me that, clear markers, for example, by June, 2026, I blank blank. That's my goal. And then she also at the end gave me manifestations align to that goal that I can recite over and over again. For example,, one of my goals. I don't mind sharing with you guys. One of my goals is simple. It's to go skiing. So it says Winter 2026. I take a trip, a ski trip to either Colorado, Utah, or Europe. Take at least three lessons, feel confident and playful on the slopes. That's what I'm trying to embody, and my manifestation is I try new things without fear. That's a very basic example of my goal being very specific and measurable, like By this time next year, I should have gone skiing. I should take three lessons, but also the embodiment. How do I feel on the slopes where I feel playful? I wanna have. Fun. Okay. I feel confident. I don't wanna feel like I'm gonna break my neck. And then I have a manifestation aligned to not just the ski goal, but who I'm embodying. I'm the type of woman who tries things without fear. I gotta try it once, right? I may not try it again, but I have to try things. Fullheartedly the first go at it. So that's just an example of. How you can use AI to help crystallize your goals even more.
the-sober-butterfly_18_12-26-2025_114128:Okay. Number three, to create your best vision board for 26. Once you pick your five to 10 ish high level goals, you're gonna break those goals into categories for your vision board. So for example, label your goals in relation to like a greater theme, wellness or career or finance or love and relationships or hobbies or travel. Categorizing your goals into different subsections or subcategories, helps and pushes you to add the process or the lifestyle, those daily habits or routines systems that are going to make you achieve your goal
the-sober-butterfly_19_12-26-2025_114318:so now you have your goals that have been labeled into different subcategories like wellness, fitness or finances or career love, relationships, whatever it may be, right? which leads us to step number four. You're gonna have different vision boards. I ended up having eight different vision boards aligned to different categories. That's a lot. Calm down. Don't worry, you're only gonna have one master vision board for 2026, but this helps you organize your thoughts even greater. Now you can plug and play. Once again, going back to my ski example, I wanna go skiing next year. That ski goal is aligned to hobbies for me for next year. I wanna learn how to ski. That's a new skill. Sometimes they can overlap. Like that could technically go under travel as well, because I plan on traveling to go ski. now I'm going to find images that best align to this goal of skiing. And when you search for images, you wanna elicit a response like it should have some kind of visceral reaction in your body. It kind of reminds me of like. Cleansing like the Marie Kondo method way, which is like when you're trying to declutter a space, you're taking inventory of everything and you're touching it. And does it spark joy? Same principle applies here. When you're looking at images on the internet or on Pinterest or wherever you are looking for images, you want to get some kind of reaction. Do you feel joy? Do you feel like, oh my God, like. This, I could see this for myself because if you don't, if you're trying to curate a life that you think you're supposed to live, that's not gonna work. It has to have some kind of emotional response, once again, your reality is based off of how your nervous system is perceiving reality. So like you should have some kind of reaction from your nervous system that will give you a sense of, oh, this is the reality that I'm calling in, that I'm quantum leaping towards. So you will organize each vision board, mini vision board at this time with different images that you feel connected to, that are aligned to your goals.
the-sober-butterfly_20_12-26-2025_114945:once you've found your images, you're going to label the sections of your vision board. And this is really where we see the distinguishment between vision boards working instead of looking cute. So you need to create habits. Those are daily, weekly identity actions and the one-time accomplishments, which are the milestones that the universe can actually check off. Just to be clear here, habits are who I am daily and those go under like the, I am becoming on your vision board. This is mindset and identity. So for example, I make decisions from my future self. I keep promises to myself. I finish when I start. I trust my intuition. And then you have your one time accomplishments, which is what I complete, and those go under, I have achieved on your vision board. Related to traveling and experiences. Again, like I went skiing, I took three ski lessons the layout for my vision boards. On the left side, I have my daily habits, which are identity. On the right side, I have my milestones, which are proof, and in the center I have my mantra, which is I act as the woman who already has this life. as a pro tip, manifest habits in present tense and accomplishments in the past tense. Manifestation once again is an act of being. You are this person, you're embodying the frequencies of this version of self that you are manifesting, and as an accomplishment, it's already been done. For any future unquote accomplishments that you're trying to call in, it's already been done. You're almost like speaking from a place of gratitude, like you're just so deserving of this. You've embodied this version. It's just a matter of time. So you're speaking in the past tense as though it's already been delivered.
the-sober-butterfly_22_12-26-2025_115515:Step five is to create one big vision board. The core idea here, which is important, is that your board should not be organized by categories anymore. Like it's not gonna be money, love, health, et cetera. Instead, it should answer one question, what does a random Tuesday look like in my 2026 Life? That's how realities collapse. There are five zones, and this is really where all of the realities are merged. So the way I've identified this is zone one is identity. It's like the centerpiece. This is the anchor. Everything else radiates from here. So you can use words or affirmations and place it here. So like how do you want to feel? What are you embodying? Calmness, freedom, grounded, consistent, wealthy, loved, chosen, creative, expansive. The core affirmation is your center text. For example, you could say something like, I act from self-trust. Everything else follows. This replaces all identity based boards that you created to help you kind of crystallize where you're going with this. Zone two is the lived life, like your home, your body routine. This is really where we see habits and accomplishments blend. So include visuals of your dream living. Accommodation or your cozy mornings or any like aesthetic that you want to conjure like soft life tennis courts. I don't know the ski trip that I imagined. Dog energy. If you wanna have a fur baby And overlay it with phrases like my home supports my nervous system, or movement is joy, or my body is respected. Which will merge any sub boards you have related to health or habits or lifestyle. And then zone three. Is more like your work money creation, not hustle. For me at least, it's more about expression. So I have images like a laptop and travel, a podcast, mic, writing book imagery, brand trips, speaking engagements. Subtle wealth cues, not very flashy. And my overly phrases include things about what I'm trying to manifest for my goals. My work funds my freedom, or I create once. I earn many times this helped me replace my business and money boards. Zone four for me is expansion, so travel language, visibility. This is your world self. And I included trips that I plan on taking in or I will take, I took past tense, um, in 2026. And overly phrases like. I am fluent in confidence. the world feels accessible to me. And that helped collapse my travel and growth boards. Zone five for me is loving community. Um, and my word, prevailing word here is safety. It includes imagery from partnerships that feel grounded or friend dinners, laughter chosen family energy. I have overly phrases like I am emotionally safe. Love meets me where I am. I don't chase, I attract, I receive. And that helped to replace my love and friendship boards and the glue here, which is what makes it one reality across the different boards is you repeat these exact ideas in different visuals. All of my visuals have a sense of ease, consistency, calm, confidence, presence, self-trust. If something looks impressive but doesn't feel calm, I don't want it. Remove it.
the-sober-butterfly_23_12-26-2025_120001:One last note before I get to the final step. What to remove from all vision boards, and this is critical. You need to remove anything that's frantic. Okay? Anything that says one day. No, we talked about this. Okay, it's delivered anything aspirational but unsafe. Because once again, your reality is shaped by your nervous system. There's sayings like, oh, growth happens. When you feel uncomfortable, but uncomfortability is different from feeling unsafe, so make sure you use some discretion there. And then anything that feels like pressure instead of embodiment. Once again, this is your dream life. This is your dream 2026. This is not what you think you're supposed to want out of life, and that's why it's on the vision board. Your future self is regulated, not rushing. And this is why this takes some time, okay, to devote some serious time to make this. I don't think you can do this in one day. The final step, which is step six, is creating a dream routine for. Your dream life.
