Chad Jenkins

Dan Horst is a 2002 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.  Upon graduation, Dan was an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army.  His first combat deployment was from March 2003 to April 2004 in Iraq.  

Later, Dan joined the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade where he prepared and executed 2 tours to Afghanistan in support of Special Operations Task Forces, integrated with Special Forces and Psychological Operations units.

Dan conducted a stint back at West Point as an Assistant Professor in the History Department.  Following that, Dan re-joined the 95th Civil Affairs Brigade as a Company Commander and Battalion Director of Operations Officer.

Dan's final assignment in the Army was the Deputy G5 Director (Plans and Strategy) at US Army Central Command.  Upon retirement, he joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Strategy Consultant.  

He and his family reside in South Carolina.
