Welcome to SC Church Podcast! We’re so glad you could join us. Today Pastor Denny Rodney Duron shared with us his message:
“Juicy Fruit: Joy"
My name is Denny Duron, and along with my wife Sarah, we're the lead pastors here at Shreeport Community Church. And we're so glad that you're here worshiping with us this morning. And I just I think we have the best worship team that there is. Put your hands together for our worship. Come on, we can do better than that. Come on, they're amazing. Oh, I love how they worship. And I love the word of God. So excited to get into the word of God today. But before we do, I want to say, let's say the mission loud and proud. Come on, here it is. Love God well. It's all about Jesus. Can I get an amen? It's all about Jesus. Bow your head and let me pray for you. God, we love you. Thank you for this day. God, thank you for all the lives that were touched yesterday and I Love West Streep. Thank you for Shreeport Community Church and that every answer is in your word. Allow your word to wash over us today. God, thank you for the needs that are represented in this place, that you are our answer. We love you. We love you, Jesus. In your precious name we pray. And everybody said amen and amen. Well, I'm very excited about today because today is week two of our new series. Before I get into that, I just want us to say, say it loud. What is our word of the year? Come on. Harvest. Come on, say it again. Harvest. You can't have a harvest without some juicy fruit. Can I get an amen? Come on. This is week two of Juicy Fruit. Taste the goodness of a spirit-filled life. And last week we started this off. We started with love. And when you left here on Sunday, maybe you felt like God is filling me with his love and you want to give love to other people. And you were great on Sunday, but on Monday, you just blew it, right? On Monday, you're screaming at your kid's umpire, your kids' game, and you're like, oh my goodness. Or maybe you're Royd raging and road raging, whatever you want to rage. I know you're you're just struggling. I don't know why I said Royd Raging. We don't do that in here, okay? We don't do that in here. All right? Maybe a little. Okay, here we go. But I'm here to tell you this that no matter what you've been through, well, you're here today, and there is hope in Jesus Christ. Come on, somebody. Let's keep walking towards Jesus. No shame, no condemnation. Let's continue on this track. And we started with love because love is the foundation of everything. So love is the root that all the other fruit that it grows from. If you don't have love, you have nothing. So let's get into our foundational verse for juicy fruit. Turn with me to Galatians 5, 22. Galatians 5, 22. Here it is. This is what it says. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. Come on, let's say this together. Let's all read it together. Here we go. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. Meaning, you can't have enough of this in your life. And it's the fruit of the spirit, meaning it don't come, it don't come from you, it comes from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit produces this fruit. And the Holy Spirit, He is God. Whenever you accept Jesus and invite the Holy Spirit to fill you, well, the Holy Spirit walks with you everywhere, producing love, joy, peace, and patience. So today I'm excited to get into this next fruit. And today we're talking about joy. Come on, say it with me. Say joy. Joy. Come on, we're talking about joy. And I'll tell you this that joy is one of the most misunderstood things in church. Because when we say joy, we think you're loud and excited and always happy. Can I tell you this? That biblical joy, it doesn't always have to be loud. Joy is a supernatural strength, it's a confidence produced when God reveals something deeper than your current reality and your current situation. Have you ever had a season of life where you just you want to get healthy? You're like, I'm getting healthy this season. This is me. And you're inspired, and you take that inspiration to the grocery store. Big mistake. Big mistake. And you have your buggy, you're inspired. I'm gonna get healthy, and you're you buy all the expensive vitamins, you're buying all the fruit, stuff you've never eaten in your life. I'm healthy now, I'm eating it. And then you got vegetables. You buy like a$500 juicer. You're like, I'm healthy now. And you go home, you get it ready. Three days later, you're sitting on the couch eating Cheetos, watching TV, you hadn't done one thing. You know you've done it. Like we've all done that. No judgment in this place. And here's the thing you had great intentions, but your intentionality, you didn't walk through the process. And that's how we treat joy. We know who produces it, we know where it is, we know how to access it, but it's sitting on the shelf, getting a little dusty. We got to be intentional in doing what God has called us to do. So before we get into this, I want to define what joy is. So there's two different kinds of joys. There's what the world says joy is, and there's biblical-based joy. So the world says joy is what Webster says. It's a feeling of happiness. So as long as things are going well, well, I've got joy. Friends, that's not the joy from the Holy Spirit. I'm telling you this: that joy isn't something like you just accidentally fall into. It's something that God produces within you. So if you're constantly going through things and it's still in your joy, well, you're not operating in the real joy, that's a fleeting emotion. So here is the definition of Holy Spirit joy, of biblical-based joy. Here it is: it's an inner gladness that is controlled, that is not controlled by outward circumstances. The Bible defines joy as this it's a confidence in what God has already done for us on the cross. Can I get an amen? It's an inner calm and it's God's amazing grace. So it's confidence, it's security in who God is, who God has made you, and your future is the best, is yet to come. But we have a choice. So in the Bible, 1 Peter 1:8, it says this. Peter says, You love him even though you have not seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him and you rejoice with a glorious, unspeakable joy. So Peter's talking to the early church, and what they're going through is they're going through persecution, trials, tribulation. They're going through the toughest season. And he's saying this He's saying, even though we're going through these things, if you trust in Almighty God, you'll have unspeakable joy. And that's my first point today. Joy unspeakable. And Peter's talking to the early church. Peter walked with Jesus. Peter literally saw Jesus. The early believers, they had never seen Jesus, and they're believing in someone they had never seen, but they're trusting, and it's unspeakable joy. I want to share with you another really powerful verse. It's Hebrews 12 1 through 3. I want you to turn there with me. Hebrews 12, 1 through 3. So good. This is so good. So the Bible says, therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run. Everyone say, run, run with perseverance. The race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer, the perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross. Come on, somebody, scorning its shame, and set down at the right hand of the throne of Almighty God. Can I get a big amen? Hebrews doesn't just tell us how to run, it shows us who to run like. It tells us we got to run like the pioneer, like the perfector, the one that went first. We got to run like Jesus Christ. And how did Jesus run? Well, Jesus ran for the joy set before him. He endured the cross. Jesus wasn't just walking to the cross. Jesus was running his race with the finish line in his sight. So he's running the joy set before him. He's looking past the cross and the suffering. What did Jesus see? Well, Jesus, he saw redemption finished. Jesus saw sin broken. Jesus saw death defeated. Jesus saw himself seated at the right hand of Almighty God. But more than just seated at the right hand of God, he saw each and every one of you. And he saw your salvation. He saw your redemption. He saw you being picked up out of the pit of despair, looking past the pain and suffering. He saw you. You are the joy that was set before him. And I'm telling you this that we got to fix our eyes on Jesus. That's what it says. We got to be like Jesus. Fix our eyes on Jesus. Because the same way that Jesus ran his race, we've got to run ours. So we cannot run based on how we feel. We cannot run based on our emotions and our feelings. We run based on truth and what we believe. And we believe God is in control. Tomorrow is the Boston Marathon. And um, it's one of the biggest marathons in the world. Thousands of people run in this marathon. Millions of people watch this marathon. And my dear friend Corey Berlin will be running in this marathon tomorrow. And here's what's amazing. Corey, he's an elite runner. He will run 26 miles in less than two hours and 50 minutes. That's just, that's sick, guys. That's just crazy. And here's the thing, I asked him, how do you do that? Like, is does it hurt? Is it like easy? He said, Denny, it's probably some of the worst pain you can imagine. He said, especially running towards that finish line, you just gotta run through the wall and run through all of it. And here's the thing: Corey, he doesn't run based on what he feels. If he did, he would quit the race. He runs based on there's a finish line right there. And there's a promise. There's some glory right there at that finish line. And I'm telling you today that some of you, it might feel like the greatest pain, it might feel just troubling. Do not run based on how you feel. Run based on there is a finish line. We have a promise of eternity with Almighty God. We got a promise of heaven. Get your eyes, fix your eyes on Jesus. That's how we have to run. Because what you know about God is not why, is not why we do this. We run based on what we know about God. And when we run based on what we know about God, how we run, it becomes easier. I'll say it this way. I'll say it this way to make it clear. Um, two people can run, I'll say it this way. Two people can go through the same exact thing. They can go through the same thing, but come out with two totally different outcomes. Right? So one person can just be crushed by that situation, the other person can come out so strong. And you say, well, that person just that person is so strong. No, they see something the other person does not see. And we can see this in Paul and Silas. Paul and Silas in the Bible, they're um they're in prison and they're in the same situation as the other prisoners, but they see something those other prisoners don't see. This is what the Bible says, Acts 16, 25. After they had been severely flogged and beaten, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks. About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Let me just recap what's happening. They've had a pretty tough day. Okay, they've been beaten, they've been flogged, they've been arrested, wrongfully so, thrown in prison, the innermost prison. They probably can't see anything. They're in shackles, but on top of all that, it's midnight. Friends, at midnight, I ain't doing nothing. Okay. At midnight, I'm asleep. I am tired, but it's midnight. Plus, they have had the worst day of all time. So what do they do? It's time to worship. It's time to praise Almighty God. Everyone else is quiet, but they start singing, not quiet, loud. They start worshiping. So everybody can hear. And when they do, well, that gel starts to shake and their shackles fall off. The door flings wide open. God shows up on the scene. But they did not get their joy when God came on the scene. They had joy unspeakable the entire process. And when they worshiped, well, when you worship in trying times, it doesn't just impact you, it impacts every person that's around you. Those prisoners heard, those prisoners were impacted. And that jailer, the Bible says that jailer gave his life to Jesus. And his family, they gave their lives to Jesus. And I just encourage you, people are watching you go through the toughest times in your life. And if you walk with the joy unspeakable in the toughest times of your life, if you have faith, it's a generational blessing. It impacts your children, your spouse, your friends, everyone around you. Why? Same situation. You see something different than the people around you. And I'm telling you today, fix your eyes on Jesus. Come on, put your hands together if you're gonna fix your eyes on Jesus. Fix your eyes. Fix your eyes. There have been seasons in my life where everything externally looked fine. Church is moving, family's moving, life moving good. But sometimes I'll I'll start taking unnecessary pressure on my own life. And that happens whenever I stop fixing my eyes and I start trying to control life my own way. And then I get a little more irritated, a little more angry. Something small becomes something big, something little. And 1 Peter 1:8, that's what we're talking about. You're filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy. It's unexplainable. That is the fruit of the Spirit. Jesus, the Holy Spirit, produces. And some people say, well, that's fake. I guess fake. Not living your truth. You're just walking through it. That's fake. You're just you're faking it. Can can I say this? That there's nothing more real than the power of Jesus Christ. There's nothing more real than the fact that Jesus is in control. Faking it? Are you kidding me? I am faith in it through the power of Jesus Christ. And you have faith, and you faith it until you see God come through. That is what we do. We are faith people in this place. You ever had a situation where it's like you should have been falling apart? Like you, you should have been taken out by what you faced. It should have taken you out. But somehow, by the power of God, you didn't just make it through. You came out stronger. And people ask you, how in the world did you do that? And you don't even have the words to say. Like, I don't know. I don't, well, that's joy unspeakable, friend. It's because it's not even your joy, it's his joy that you have access to. And this is how my dad has lived his life. Pastor Denny Duran, and my dad and my mom are here today. Put your hands together for Pastor Denny and Pastor Deonza. We just honor you. I just love you more than anything. But my dad is a walking sermon, the way that he lives his life. And those of you that know him, all of us, understand that's true. He has decided, no matter what he walks through, he's going to walk through it in joy and in gratitude. He has chosen that. And growing up, and still today, I love walking with dad because we'll be out in public and he'll see someone like working retail or in sales or just something. He's like, I could have had that job. I would have loved to have done that. I think I could have won a lot of people to Jesus right there at that desk. Because with my dad, it's not about what he's doing, it's about the mission that he has. Life is an adventure to bring people to Jesus. And then my dad speaks like this This is the best day. This is the best season. This is the best food I've ever had in my life. This is the best time. And you're saying, well, he's just saying that. No, my dad is very intentional with every word that he speaks. And he's not describing the season, he is defining it based on who walks with him. And we have the promise if God is walking with us, we go from glory to glory. The best is yet to come. We're Jesus people. Come on, that's what we believe. And that is what I've seen in my dad's life. Uh, six years ago, my dad took over the evangelical football team, and there were 35 kids on this team, and they had lost every single game. And my dad said, I'm coaching them. I'm getting in there. My dad could have been traveling the world speaking. He gave all of his time and attention to these 35 kids. And during this season, when I would talk to dad, I've never seen my dad so excited, so joyful about something in my life. Denny, these kids are getting it. They're incredible. This is the best group. We got Bibles. It's and he was just overflowing with joy. The next year, the same thing. Now it's six years later. Come on, somebody. That little team, now it's a big team. That team that lost all their games, they're crushing everybody. And there is God Family Football. If you don't know this, there's a TV show on Fox Nation, God Family Football. The fifth season comes out in October. So from investing in 35 kids, well, now the world, thousands, maybe millions, are hearing the gospel because he knows it's not about what you're doing, it's about who walks in the room with you. When you fix your eyes on Jesus, it's joy unspeakable. And God does miracles that are beyond what you could ever believe. Come on, put your hands together for Jesus. That's how we live. Nehemiah 8. Nehemiah says this. He said, Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Thank you, Jesus. Man, that's a party, right? They're having a good time. No, actually, it's a terrible time. They're in a tough season. I'll give you the background. The children of God had been away from their homeland for years and years. And uh they just get to come back to Jerusalem. When they get there, their enemies had demolished Jerusalem's walls, and brick by brick, they put back the walls. It's a miracle. And then after, well, they read the scripture and the scrolls, the word of God out loud to them in public together for the first time in 70 years, they hear the word of God. And when they hear the word of God, well, they're so convicted and they're shameful because they see how far they have drifted from Almighty God. They begin to cry. They begin to weep. And they feel terrible. And Nehemiah comes in and says, No, no, no, no crying right now. This is a time of celebration. This is a time to go get some drink, to go get some food, go party with your family, because the joy of the Lord is your strength. He's saying, God never left us, and we are turning towards Almighty God. And if we turn to God, it's a time of joy. And I want to tell you this God has never left you in your situation. God has never left your side. And if you come to Almighty God, all of heaven is standing in a standing ovation. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Come on, put your hands together for Jesus right now. Come on. You ever had one of those crazy days? It's like, can one more thing go wrong? It's like this is crazy. It's like the kids are acting insane, my car is acting up, and now my refrigerator, it's breaking. Satan is after me. Satan is coming. It's like, what can what can go on? And let me tell you, a day like that, if you don't have joy in your spirit, it will stink and take you out. But if you have the joy of the Lord, not only do you survive a day like that, you can thrive through a day like that. Because he is your source. And that's what Psalm 130 is saying right here. Psalm 30, excuse me. It says, weeping may endure for a night. But come on, somebody. Joy comes in the morning. Joy comes in the morning doesn't mean that the night is gonna pass fast or that this is gonna be easy. No, it's declaring this the night will not win in Jesus' name. And some of you have been in that dark night. And it hasn't even just been a night, it's been a season, it's been years and years. And Almighty God sent me to tell you this today. Your night has an expiration date on it. What you are going through, you will get through in the power of Almighty God. You're gonna make it through. And the joy of the Lord is your strength. It's not telling you what to do, it's telling you what Almighty God's gonna do. This is the fruit of the Spirit. This is one of the flavors of Almighty God. This fruit doesn't come from us, it comes from God. But here's the question: we go through things, we go through tough things. How do you keep your strength in the midst of the night before the morning comes? How can you keep your strength in trying times? I want to give you three really quick things. I'm just gonna shotgun, shotgun them to you real quick. Here's the first one hold on to what you know, hold on to what never changes. So in the night you don't feel God, you don't see progress, everything feels heavy. Well, what do you do? You go back to what never changes. Hebrews 10, it says, Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who is promised, he is faithful. If God said it, he's gonna do it. Our God is faithful. So here's the deal: don't follow your feelings, follow the truth of Almighty God, the one that never moves. So profess it and claim that, God, you are in control. God, you're never moving. God, you're the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you said it, you're gonna do it. Hold on to what you know. Another thing is you stay close to keep your strength. Stay close even when it's hard. Okay? Psalm 23. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Most people in the midst of the night, they pull back and they stop getting engaged and they isolate by themselves. It's the worst thing you could ever do. It's the worst thing you can ever do. You're giving up your position of strength in Almighty God. So you stay close. You get close. I'm not telling you you need to do something. You need to get close to the presence of Almighty God. How do we do that? We read our Bible, we pray, we come to the house of God. However, you can get close to God, do what you know. Stay close, even when it's trying. And here's the last thing keep moving. Keep moving, even if it's slow. Galatians 6 9. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap. Here it is, a harvest. A harvest if we do not give up. A lot of people in in comparison, it's like I'm not walking or running as fast as them. I'm just gonna quit. I'm giving up. I'm not doing this. In the name of Jesus, you will not quit. In the name of Jesus, you will not give up. Even if you're going at a crawling pace, you will continue crawling your way to Jesus. I don't know if I've told y'all this, but um in November. In November, I did an Iron Man race. I completed a triathlon. I'm an Iron Man, call me Tony Stark. I don't know if I told y'all that. Kind of a big deal, you know? And I'll tell you since November, I have not ran, swam, or biked at all. Don't judge me, okay? Get out of here. I'll tell you, in my uh preparation for this race, sometimes I would have like four or five hours that I was like running at a time. And when I would get out there, if I'm like in the middle of that run and that practice run, if I stop, I am quitting. If I stop, I'm walking off the course and and I'm going to get in my bed, I'm done. But if I keep moving, even if it's really slow, and if I stop thinking, well, I got two hours left, and I boil it down to can you just put another step in front of the other? Can you move your foot? Can you get your leg? Well, after a while, I finished what I was there to do. And I just want to speak to you today. Some of you, the life, your life feels daunting and you see everything ahead of you, and you think you got to do all this stuff. Can I tell you, you only got to do what's right in front of you? Take another step, take another stride. Don't stop, don't quit because morning is on the way. And eventually God is gonna say, Enough is enough. Yes, you endured and it was a long night, but when God decides and says, I'm speaking morning, I'm speaking light, the darkness has to obey, and the darkness has to flee, and Jesus comes through for you. Why? Because joy, come on, begins to rise. And I speak it over you right now. Joy will rise in your life. And that's my last point, actually. I want the band to come up right now. Joy will rise. Joy will rise. Um, John 16, it says this. So with you, now is your time of grief. But I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be made complete. Man, this is powerful because it's saying that nothing can take your joy. Saying nothing. And if you if you understand nothing can take your joy, well, this is what you understand. You know who your God is, you know that God is in control, you know who you are in Jesus Christ. You're a son, you're a daughter with a great future, and you know your future in Jesus, that you will spend eternity with Almighty God. The best is yet to come for you. When you anchor, when you root in those things, when you attach to these things, well, well, nothing will move you. Joy begins to rise. Psalm 126. It says, Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. Joy rises when God lifts your spirit above that thing that tried to bury you and take you out. When the Holy Spirit leads us on the inside, well, what's happening around you does not control you any longer. That thing and that person, the situation cannot take your joy because they didn't give you your joy to begin with. Comes from Almighty God. So again, remember no one can take your joy. And then it says, Your joy will be made complete. Complete is powerful because it means fullness, fulfilled, lacking nothing, not partial or just for a little bit. No, the fullness of joy, you are complete, and it's a finished work in you in Christ Jesus, and that's a joy that's connected, a joy that is rooted in the strongest things imaginable. You're rooted in the presence of Almighty God, you're secure in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He finished it on the cross. You're sustained by the Holy Spirit. So I'm just I'm encouraging you today, taste the goodness of the spirit-filled life. Come on, taste the goodness. And one of these, one of the fruit is joy. It's joy. And I'm not asking you, do this in your own strength or or figure it out, like try harder. No, connect to your lifeline. Connect. Jesus said it this way: I am the vine, you are the branches. If you abide in me, you'll have life everlasting. Here's the thing: we got to connect to the king, connect to Jesus. There's living water, there is fruit in every season. How do we know? Storms. So the defining this the defining factor, how are you walking through storms? Storms. Because storms are coming, you're saying they're already here. Yeah, so they might be here already. Storms. And if you are rooted in the wrong things, that storm is gonna take you out. If your joy is rooted in money, in people, in success, in popularity, well, storms are coming, maybe they're here already. And they're gonna uproot you because those are shallow roots. If your joy is rooted in situations, in circumstances, in your control, in your dream, well, storm's coming, maybe it's here. And it's not just gonna kind of shake you, it's going to rip you up and throw you to the side because those are shallow roots. That joy can be taken. But I want to tell you about a joy that cannot be taken. You cannot be taken. I want to speak over you this scripture, and it's it's really good. Okay, I want you to let this wash over you. Okay, Jeremiah 17 and 7. Jeremiah 17 and 7. Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. Everybody say trust, whose confidence is in Jesus. Everybody say confidence. They will be like a tree planted by the water that seeds, that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails, come on, to produce the juicy fruit. Come on. Come on. So when storms come, they might shake you, but you're not going anywhere because you're connected to the lifeline, to the source. And I'm telling you this: trust in who your God is. Get your eyes, fix your eyes on Jesus. Have confidence in who God has created you to be. You're a son, you're a daughter of Almighty God. You got everything that you need. Understand your future is so bright. And in the name of Jesus, I speak it over you right now. You're gonna be like a mighty oak tree. You're gonna be planted by streams of living water. And in every season, no matter if it's good, if it's bad, if it's light, if it's dark, the peaks, the valleys, you will produce fruit in every season because the joy of the Lord is your strength. Come on, it's joy unspeakable in the name of Jesus. I speak it. Joy will rise. Joy will rise. So here's the question. The only question is what you're rooted in. What are you connected to? What you putting your faith in? What are you allowing to lead you in this season? Because it dictates everything. You know, it's crazy. During this week, um my joy was being tested all week long. Just little thing after little thing, and and I just I just kind of smirked at the devil. Because I just I said, I got the perfect message for what you're trying to bring at me this week, devil. So I just got to live out my message all week long. And this this is what I did over and over again. I said, God, you're bigger than any situation that I'll ever face. God, you are in control. God, you have created me as a son of Almighty God. I'm confident in who you created me to be. You've given me everything that I need. And I said, I know my future, I speak it. The best is yet to come. I get to spend eternity with Almighty God, worshiping Jesus. Can I tell you, joy began to rise. I've had joy unspeakable. It's been a wonderful week. And you can have the same thing. It's a choice. What you choosing today? What are you choosing? What are we choosing to walk through in? Come on, joy. I want you to stand to your feet. I want you to stand to your feet, and here's what I'm asking you. What are the storms of your life doing to you right now? What are the storms of your life doing to you right now? Are they just throwing you around and is it just fleeting joy? How are you dealing with what you're going through? What are you connecting to? What are you rooted in? Because today I want to give you the opportunity to throw your way aside, to throw your way down, and for you to connect to Almighty God. This is your moment. So, this is what I ask you. How many of you in this place, you're sick and tired of the storms in your life affecting you? And some of you say, I'm doing good, but I feel something brewing. I want to have a new declaration to connect to Almighty God. If that's you today, you say, I want to connect to the source. I want the Holy Spirit power in my life. I want this fruit that I can't give, but that God gives me. I want new joy. I want joy unspeakable. I want it to be my strength. If that's you today, if you want joy to be your strength, you want unspeakable joy, come on, raise your hand right now. You want to connect to your lifeline like never before. Today, sometimes we come down to the front. And we come down to the front to make a physical move, but it does something to us spiritual, spiritually as well. Sometimes you can do the same thing at your seat, but I love taking a step. And I just want to invite you today, if that is you, if you say, I want to connect, I want to be rooted in Jesus Christ like never before. I want you to get out of your seat. If you want the joy unspeakable, come on, start moving down to the front. If you want this joy, if you want this joy, say, why do we have to do this? This is a moment. I believe it's a declaration over your life. I believe it. Come on, everybody move. Thank you, Jesus. As you're moving, I want to pray over each and every one of you. Come on, bow your head. God, God, I love you. God, thank you for this moment. Holy Spirit, come into this place. Lord, I speak it over my friends, and I bind the enemy, these storms that have been plaguing them. I speak morning, I speak light, and I speak life where it has felt like it's been so long. God, do a miracle and do your work in the name of Jesus Christ right now. Do your work. God, I speak it. Come on, accept it right now. Receive it. Joy unspeakable. You can't even describe it. Come on, receive it right now. Joy unspeakable. And whatever they're facing in the name of Jesus, receive it right now. That the joy of the Lord is your strength. In the name of Jesus, not our strength. Holy Spirit strength, your strength. God strength in us today. And right now, come on, claim it. Joy will begin to rise. God, rise this joy in our lives that we fill you in everything that we do. God, we want your love, we want your grace, and we accept it. We speak it out. Come on, shut yourself away with God right now. Let's worship. Come on, let's sing a worship song. But shut yourself away with God. Think about joy and say it over and over again. God, I want to connect to you. I want your strength. God, I want your way. God, I want to walk towards you. Come on, have a moment with Jesus.
SPEAKER_00Thank you for connecting with us today. The first step to a new life in Christ is receiving the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, repeat this prayer after me. Jesus, I believe you died on a cross and rose again for me. I ask that you come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Whether you committed your life to Jesus for the first time today or are already on your journey of faith, we would love to stay connected with you.
