Show Notes
Music historian, Ron Drummond, gives us some background information concerning his upcoming lecture/concert with members of the Town Quartet at the Musical Offering Cafe In Berkeley, September 26th, at 7pm. On the program is the Reicha string trio, Pavel Wranitzy string trio op. 17 no. 1, and a Pichl duo for viola and cello. Ron talks extensively about these composers and the classical period in general. Beethoven comes up a lot. Bach and his sons come up as well. He does a whole spiel on Mozart and Mysliveček.
