Running Backs are the prime position of fantasy football. The Dork and Dude give their top 20 and some sleepers.

SPEAKER_01

No encoder. I've never seen this. No encoder available to record. What a fucking left.

SPEAKER_02

Right in this is fantasy football with the dork and the dude. It's the dork, and that would be the dude. That's it. We're going to talk running backs today. First, I wanted to mention something. I would think we, you know, we got to talk up why they should tune into us. And what why don't you just let them know? I mean, I had last year, I was around 60% on best bets, of which I do five a week. Uh-huh. But tell them the season bets that you won last year.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you know, I went to look those up, Doric. And uh uh I can probably find them somewhere on DraftKings, but no bets after the first of the year show up in my account as one or loss or whatever. So anyway, uh I had um I had the Seahawks at 65 to 1. That paid six uh 650, of course. Uh then I also uh about mid-season when I saw they were starting to roll, I grabbed them again at 11 to 1. That paid me another 300. So I won a grand practically on just the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl, besides all the uh prop bets and stuff I had going in the Super Bowl. Yeah. And then I threw another $100 on top of them on the money line. Yeah. Anyway, uh I had uh uh Swessinger defensive rookie of the year 40 to 1. That uh I threw five bucks, paid 200. Uh I had Stafford MVP 35 to 1, it paid 360. Uh and then these didn't show up. I tried to remember what I had, but I had a bunch of uh uh over-under bets and stuff like that. I won the Jags over on their win total. I also had them in the win the AFC South. That paid 230 bucks. Uh I had the bucks to uh over their win total. I paid another 40. And then there's probably another $150 that I can't remember.

SPEAKER_02

But you meant you nailed three huge um long shots um on the awards and the Super Bowl.

SPEAKER_01

Shit like that only happens to you once in your life sometimes. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

But that's why you want to tune in to fantasy football with the dork and the dude. That's what I'm talking about. You can find us on YouTube, of course. Also uh Apple, Amazon, iHeart Stitcher, Spotify, and Google. That's it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, but I checked our stats recently, and our uh Frankfurt Germany guy is still number one. Okay, but there's some cat right behind him, and he's listening, uh uh it's starting to listen more and more in Des Moines, Iowa. Des Moines. Yeah. So shout out to you out there in Des Moines. Yeah, thanks for tuning in. And we got Hawkeye. We've got some regular listener in Singapore. Singapore. Yeah.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

Uh yeah, and then some other European countries. All right, so uh we're going all around the world, Dor.

SPEAKER_02

I know. We are going, we're not just coast to coast, we're worldwide.

SPEAKER_01

That's it. Uh, and talking about your 60%, that's awesome. Uh the pros say with juice, and and depending on on if you played uh well, negative money on the money line on your bets or something uh across the board, you have to have 54% to break even. And again, that's pros figure 58% they can make a living.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and um, so that was good. And uh, I just hope to match it again this year. You know, just do the same, uh do the same process.

SPEAKER_01

I hear you.

SPEAKER_02

Trust the process.

SPEAKER_01

That's it. And uh so I figure on the season, uh, over uh overall and everything, Dork, I profited about two grand. I've nice, I've reinvested 700 of that in futures.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

But um, you know, it's so a $2,000 a year, I'll take it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely. Okay, ready to talk running backs?

SPEAKER_01

Let's do it. We're gonna talk our top 20, and then we're also gonna give you some sleepers. Yeah. And uh I was thinking we need to do a show, and we can do it across all positions. Yeah, but maybe do our top ten dudes that we will not be drafting.

SPEAKER_02

I like that. All right, I like that. Let's do that. Okay, umber one running back um is uh for me, it's Jameer Gibbs. Yeah, me too. Um, I got him and Bichon real close.

SPEAKER_01

I do too. Uh last two years, uh, Gibbs totaled 18 and 20 touchdowns.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. They're both that guy's money. Both run for a lot of yards, both catch a lot of passes, both get in the end zone. That's that's what you want. The only reason I got Gibbs ahead is he plays in a better offense. Uh it's it's that simple.

SPEAKER_01

He does. And with the question marks in Atlantic QB, uh uh, you know, that that's cause for pause.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, I got Gibbs too, and I got Bichon number two.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Um, and you know, not much else to say there. I think they're obvious, they're both obvious choices, and you just hope they stay healthy. That's it. And don't get too many touchdowns vultured. Okay, for third, I have James Cook.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I have Jonathan Taylor.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I I you know I can see that, but I thought Cook just felt like the most solid play to me at that point.

SPEAKER_01

Uh well, I got him four.

SPEAKER_02

Um right. I'm not worried about age injury as much with him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, um, I uh you can flip them uh either way. Uh Taylor a little concerning. He had 369 uh touches and he wore down at the end of the season.

SPEAKER_02

Although that could have been the fact they had a quarterback who couldn't throw the ball and they they had what uh 10 in the box?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and they just kept they just kept pounding him into the line. Yep. Uh as for uh Bijan in PPR leagues, the dude's gold. He's averaging over 10 yards per catch.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah out of the backfield. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, those are yeah, those two are so so good. Okay, who you got at five? Well, at four, I have Henry. Derrick Henry. I got the king at five. Okay, and I have Taylor at five. Okay. Um you can't argue with any of those top five. No, you can't. Um, it's a matter of preference. Henry, the age is a little concerning.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, what is he, 32?

SPEAKER_02

He'll be 32 this year. Um, but he doesn't slow down. And he doesn't. It's better to just try and roll with them another year as opposed to just saying, I'm guessing this is a year. He's uh because people have been doing that for three or four years with him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and he's uh uh he's winning a lot of people championships.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, he is.

SPEAKER_01

Uh he's he's over the last eight seasons, he's had ten or mutt more touchdowns every year. Yeah. I mean, that's it that's the ultimate floor.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I mean, 1,500 yards, 15 touchdowns. Yep. That's in the bank. Yeah, pretty much. Um, yeah, I like him. Uh Taylor, I have Taylor next, and I I just have him in a group uh that I call could win or lose the league for you. Sure.

SPEAKER_01

And my next uh And if they don't have good quarterback play, uh he could lose the league for you because he's gonna be stacking them boxes.

SPEAKER_02

Because these might be the guy you take at the end of round one, one of these guys, and you just gotta hope for good health, hope uh their situation is good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, uh uh he might not make it to the end of the first round. Yeah, he's gonna be a top six pick, seven, depending on your scoring.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, uh uh who you got for six then? Uh Barkley. I got um McCaffrey. Okay, I have him seven. I've got Barkley seven. Yeah, uh this is predictable shit at this point. Yeah. Uh Barkley, I expect to bounce back. Uh, although he had a decent year. Yeah, he would but after you come off 2,000, people had expectations. Yeah. So uh and McCaffrey, you know, it's all about injuries.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's uh been healthy the last two years.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yes, he has. Uh two of the last three, I think. I think 24 he was down for a while. Right. But um, yeah, I mean he might have a late season, a late career resurgence. You never know.

SPEAKER_01

Well, the problem with McCaffrey, and I owned him last year, uh, and he wasn't bad. I think he ended up fifth in our league scoring or something. Uh but uh what was frustrating to watch was he didn't have any breakaway runs.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Uh 20 plus yard runs, they weren't there. Uh it was all about volume. Uh so that's a that's a thing. Does he still have the breakaway speed, or is he just becoming a very great uh you know back who can just uh keep pounding?

SPEAKER_02

Keep pounding, catch the passes, do all the little things.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's gonna catch 75 passes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. He might catch a hundred if he plays uh the whole season.

SPEAKER_01

You never know.

SPEAKER_02

Um eight I have uh Devin Achan Achan.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I uh okay. Why do you like A-chan there?

SPEAKER_02

I is just a damn good back who can't.

SPEAKER_01

But how many points are my is Miami gonna score?

SPEAKER_02

Well, he's gonna score most of them when they do.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's what you could have said about Genty last year, and it didn't work out too fucking good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, I I agree. Um I think it's a little risky that high. It could be, yes. But I I look at what's out there, and I would rather roll the dice on them, on him, than anyone else right there.

SPEAKER_01

And who knows, Miami could surprise.

SPEAKER_02

I I I'm just feeling good vibes about Miami.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so they could surprise they could surprise and be a functional offense, but uh their skill positions, I mean their top wide receiver, I can't even name. Uh I've got your boy Kieran Williams. Kieran, okay. Yeah, 13 touchdowns plus the last three seasons in a row.

SPEAKER_02

He's solid. Um I'm a little worried, I guess I'm a little worried about Koram cutting into his uh that's a concern. His time, but I you know, I can't argue with that. Um he's in the group behind.

SPEAKER_01

Last year I was worried about Koram uh cutting in, and he had over 13 touchdowns.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_01

He's not one of the best offenses in the game. You want you want those guys.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I agree. In fact, I I think him and Corum are both uh good draftable players. Yeah, they are.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so the nine.

SPEAKER_02

Nine, I have Genty.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I just, you know, I look at him, he's one of maybe ten backs, who you can probably put down for 250 plus rushes. Yes. And um, he caught a lot of passes last year, too. He did.

SPEAKER_01

He he has been utilized as a receiver, so I'm I'm worried about if they've upgraded that offensive line. It was terrible. He got dropped behind the line of scrimmage for losses, twice as much as the number two dude. Right. And I and I watched a lot of Raider games, and uh, it wasn't pretty, man. Yeah. I'm not going there that early. Okay. I got Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker III. So I'm one of the best teams in the league. Yeah. Uh they're giving him money. One of the best offensive lines. Uh Mahomes ain't gonna be running around as much uh off that knee injury, I'm thinking. And so, and they paid him big ass cash.

SPEAKER_02

It's he's gonna be interesting to see because um he um Kansas City just hasn't done this. This is different for them.

SPEAKER_01

It is paying a running back, but I think the last two years uh with their anemic offense, they've gone to get a running attack.

SPEAKER_02

They decided they need a and they haven't had the big uh basher like he is. They haven't. So that's interesting. That again, that's a good not a bad pick. Or, you know, I can't argue with it. I'm I am not as high on him because he just he hasn't been a great fantasy producer.

SPEAKER_01

He hasn't, but I I think this could possibly be the this could be a boost, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um that was nine. Yeah. Who do you got? Ten, Chase Brown. Chase Brown. I did not put him in my top 20.

SPEAKER_01

Last two years he's been a top 10 RB in almost every scoring system.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I'll take that. I I'm picking him at 10. He's been top two uh ten the last two years. Money.

SPEAKER_02

So he's 10. Okay. I just I looked at I looked at him, I forgot what it was, but I I just wasn't impressed. I got him just outside the top 20.

SPEAKER_01

Well, he had he had a top 10 year last year with Joe Burrow not playing uh half the season.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

If Burrow plays uh all year and they're out there putting up 41 fucking points, Chase Brown could be a monster.

SPEAKER_02

Well, what I'm I'm not that impressed with it with him as uh oh, how do I say this? I don't think he has elite potential.

SPEAKER_01

He's got breakaway streams.

SPEAKER_02

I think he's solid, but um that's I think he he's solid, but that's about it.

SPEAKER_01

All right, well, pass on him. I'll I'll take him in the draft.

SPEAKER_02

You do that. I at 10th, my tenth is a big upside swing, uh Trayvion Henderson. Trayvon, Trevion, I don't know how you pronounce it.

SPEAKER_01

Trayvion Henderson.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, okay, thank you.

SPEAKER_01

That's a that's a total reach.

SPEAKER_02

Big play guy, runner receiver.

SPEAKER_01

He's one of my fucking sleepers. He's so far fucking down.

SPEAKER_02

He's a sleeper? Yeah. He's top 20 in most lists I saw, isn't he?

SPEAKER_01

Um not really. Well, I got him at 10. A lot of people have questions uh about him. Okay. Uh here's the argument against him.

SPEAKER_02

Let's hear it.

SPEAKER_01

Last year, all the metrics, Ramondre Stevenson was a better back. Stevenson was number three in uh uh breakaway rate and like number five in broken tackles.

SPEAKER_02

But Henderson had all the big plays. Henderson's a better receiver.

SPEAKER_01

You're hoping for a home run now. You're gonna have times where he gives you three fantasy fucking points.

SPEAKER_02

That's true, but that's true of every back on this list. True.

SPEAKER_01

I I I just think it's a reach.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I like second-year runners and receivers, so he is on a good identifying.

SPEAKER_01

He isn't on a good team, but he's in a 50-50 split. And how can you have someone up by the top ten in a 50-50 split? No one else is.

SPEAKER_02

Um, well, Kieran might be.

SPEAKER_01

No. It's 60-40.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Nobody's got to go there. He's the young guy from the city.

SPEAKER_01

I got a guy, I got a guy. I got a guy that's gonna put up more fantasy points. Uh Javante Williams.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I got him at uh I have him at 13. I got him at 11. Okay, I have I have Jeremiah Love at 11, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, that's uh too high for me.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's at the point. Um, I get it. This would be a reach, and again, this this is entitled Players Who Could Win or Lose A Year League. Sure. So this this tier here. Sure. And um, you know.

SPEAKER_01

I'm worried about the competition. Uh uh Okay. Uh they hell, they brought back James Connor when everybody in the world thought they were gonna let him fucking go. They still got they're gonna use him.

SPEAKER_02

They still got Benson on the lineup. Yeah. I can't imagine they didn't draft him third to use him a hell of a lot, though.

SPEAKER_01

How many fucking points are they gonna score?

SPEAKER_02

Again, we'll see. Yeah. Uh but I've looked at this before, and bad offenses don't affect fantasy running backs as much as they do wide receivers.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but you still got to get in the end zone.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, you do, yeah. There's no doubt about it. And that factors in tolerance.

SPEAKER_01

And that has to be scoring. If your team's scoring uh uh uh four touchdowns a game, yeah, like uh the Bengals or something, uh and and you're the Cardinals and you're scoring one touchdown and kicking four field goals. Yeah. Four field goals isn't bad. It is if you're a running back trying to get in the end zone, brother.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, but he's uh he's the I hate it. A generational talent. Hate it. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Where are we at? Where are we at? 12?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I got eight eight uh a-chan at twelve.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, this is where I got my solid vets, safe solid vets, I call them. And Josh Jacobs is 12. The cap might be suspended for six games. I I had oh, did he what did he do?

SPEAKER_01

Uh domestic violence.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, well, then I'll adjust. That's him?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I didn't know how'd I miss that one? I don't know. You're not paying attention. Everybody else in the fantasy world fucking knows it. Okay. No, it uh that's too high risk.

SPEAKER_02

Then then then um then kill that. Um move Javante Williams up to 12.

SPEAKER_01

Uh apparently charges haven't been filed yet. It's still being investigated and shit. NFL could still suspend them three fucking games, even if there are no charges.

SPEAKER_02

There could, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But uh Josh Jacobs is in a world of hurt. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

That's my mistake then.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, yeah, look it up.

SPEAKER_02

Uh where are we at? 13? Uh 13. Uh, I got a Marion Hampton. Um okay. I well that's where I had Javante Williams, so I'll just go with James. Josh Jacobs in a heartbeat. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Although I, you know, Jacobs, he he's 15 touchdowns.

SPEAKER_02

At the end of the day, he'll have double figure touchdowns and a thousand yards at the end of the year.

SPEAKER_01

I just don't want to touch him with Jacob. But if if if there is if there is something hanging over him. He might be fucking Rashid Rice.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Okay. Um 13 I have Williams. You have A-chan or 12. I told you 13 I had of Hamptons.

SPEAKER_01

Hampton.

SPEAKER_02

14 I have Genty. Oh, okay. You got Hampton ahead of Genty.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Genty killed my team last year. And I'm not trusting the Raiders. Especially if they're throwing a rookie quarterback in by week six. Which they probably will be. Yeah, I want no part of that shit. Uh 15, I got Brees Hall.

SPEAKER_02

Uh 15 is where, or 14, I have Kieran Williams.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Fifteen, I have Kenneth Walker III.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. I got Brees Hall at 15.

SPEAKER_02

You, you liking a jet? How are they going to score, man?

SPEAKER_01

Well, put it this way. No, I'm going to go to the city. Frank Reich, uh, who's a fucking dinosaur running the offense, they're going to run Brees Hall into the fucking ground. And uh I'm not going to end up drafting a cat. I'm just put this is where I'm putting it. Okay. Uh I I'm I'd I would take a risk on an upside dude at 15 before I'd take Brees Hall. Oh, okay. But for our purposes, that's where I'm putting it.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

But I think he's never been on the team.

SPEAKER_02

And he's never been that good. He's he's been very hyped. Yeah. Um, and I can overrated. We know he got talent, but he's never been a great fantasy guy.

SPEAKER_01

That's it. When it comes to Brees Hall. This is business, and this man has taken it very, very personal. It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business. In fact, I could say that about Josh Jacobs. It's strictly business. Okay. Uh all right. Where are you at now? 16.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Travis Etienne. Uh it's Achan now. Atien.

SPEAKER_01

What? It's Achan now. A Chan? Just like HN in Miami. They pronounce it the same. You didn't hear that either?

SPEAKER_02

No, I didn't.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's HN.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Travis Achan.

SPEAKER_02

I like that better actually. Um brought in to be the do it all back. Uh I like it. I got him at 20.

SPEAKER_01

I got him in 20. I like it.

SPEAKER_02

He's a good pick.

SPEAKER_01

I got Jeremiah Love at 16. Okay. How about 17? Dork?

SPEAKER_02

O'Marian Hampton.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I had him at 13. I've got Quinton Junkins.

SPEAKER_02

Can't argue with that. He's out of my top 20, but um I think he's uh I think he's a good pick. Like I said, I like those second-year backs. I hear you. I he I wouldn't let him sit too long after the top 20, put it that way.

SPEAKER_01

Cleveland's gonna be bad, but I think they're gonna be improved. I think so. Uh it's all up uh up from here.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And uh he showed he can be an every down back in a fucking bruiser.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he can.

SPEAKER_01

He's gonna get all the goal line.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_01

In fact, he has no competition, really.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, speaking of getting all the goal line, that's why I have kind of a goofy pick, and it's it might be a Homer pick, but I have Kyle Manon guy of the Bears at 18.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, uh I almost put him in as a sleeper, but he didn't make quite make my sleeper list, but he probably should have.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh uh I I'm I'm taking David Montgomery over his ass.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, Montgomery, you know, goes into my thinking from Manon guy, his history with Ben Johnson. Ben Johnson running backs in Detroit scored a lot of touchdowns. Yeah, they did. Um, you didn't necessarily have that in Chicago. They were so-so, I want to say Swift had nine, and Menonguy had five. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

In uh, you know, playing 14 rushing touchdowns isn't very good.

SPEAKER_02

No, it isn't. It isn't. But before that, he had a history, and since the offense had been a work in progress, it's possible that starts again. I mean, he he turned Jamal Williams into a fantasy monster. Yeah. And made him rich when he went down to New Orleans and big time.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, but I like Monty, I like Monty here uh because uh Houston Texans are a pretty goddamn good team. They are. They are, they're gonna be pounding. He's got no competition. Uh Woody Marks, third down back.

SPEAKER_02

I like the fact that they went out and got him. Yeah, they want him. Yeah, they he's a guy they wanted, they targeted as someone who can help us. So, yeah, I I I like that.

SPEAKER_01

It's a it's one of those, it's not sexy, but it's solid.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And another thing about uh I want to mention about Manon guy, he never fumbles. He didn't fumble in college, he had no fumbles last year. I think he has the potential to be a big goal-line guy.

SPEAKER_01

He's not my top 20, which means uh uh uh he won't be like probably in my top three backs.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

But uh fourth back, I'd love him.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, uh how about 19?

SPEAKER_02

That's where I got Brees.

SPEAKER_01

That's where I got Josh Jacobs. Okay. Pending uh uh uh legal action.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh then at 20 I had uh Travis Achan.

SPEAKER_02

A Chan, okay. But you still put ETN down, I see.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's just uh so it was I could shorten it. I'm lazy.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I got another kind of a sleeper here, but if you ask me.

SPEAKER_01

Well, are we going to sleep here?

SPEAKER_02

Who I draft, this is at 20, is Cam Scataboo.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Um I really like what he was doing until he got injured. I am concerned about the injury, but then the guy's a knucklehead. Yeah, he's a knucklehead.

SPEAKER_01

Uh so you know, a guy like him, uh he might do anything.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh but uh again, I am I have him as sleeper, not top 20. Okay. Okay, let's get the uh let's uh good segment, third or well done, dude. Well done. Okay, let's uh get to sleepers.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Mine, I just looked at guys who I saw where they were ranked, and I said, uh-uh, they gotta be higher. Okay. That's kind of what I did. And that's that's basically how it went. And then I got two wild long shots in there. Love it. Okay. Um my first one, the one I like the most is Jordan Mason. Got him. He's at number 43 on the list. This was ESPN's list.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, only uh Aaron Jones is his only competition.

SPEAKER_02

Dude's like 32. Jones is fading. He put up his lowest reception total and um yards per carry.

SPEAKER_01

This is his last year.

SPEAKER_02

Since his rookie year, he he's 30 something. He's had a great career. Yeah, yeah. Mason has never been a regular, but career, he averages over five yards a carry. Yep. I mean, just everything about this looks like he's gonna be the number one back on.

SPEAKER_01

Minnesota's got a good offensive line.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, they do.

SPEAKER_01

And uh uh, I don't care if it's Murray or McCarthy, they're gonna they're gonna be better quarterback this year.

SPEAKER_02

Well, Minnesota has receivers you have to watch. Yeah. You know, it's it's not like, yeah. So there's gonna be no load in the box.

SPEAKER_01

I like it.

SPEAKER_02

Um you're on board with him as a sleeper, too, right?

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Um uh my guy, we talked about him, uh, but my number one sleeper is uh Ramondre.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And then next I'm going uh Bachel Tutin.

SPEAKER_02

Bashaltutin, okay. I had him just out of my top 20. Um I'm really worried about him because he is a he has. Anybody on Jacksonville, I want. Yeah. Um, but um they did let A Shan Travis A Shann go. A Chan. A Chan. I have trouble with this shit, dude. Just so they can get A Shan on the show. It's okay.

SPEAKER_01

You'll get it by week eight. Why did they do shit like this? Do me a favor, move that glass off the off the table. Sorry, I don't know why I even put it there.

SPEAKER_02

Uh that's all right.

SPEAKER_01

Those are the rules.

SPEAKER_02

Don't worry about it.

SPEAKER_01

We did a little partying before we started. Uh yes, we did. Okay, so who you got, Dork?

SPEAKER_02

RJ Harvey.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, he was solid last year. 12 total TD. 12 total TD, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And um, I know, and I I am, by the way, I'm a J.K. Dobbins fan. I'm pulling for him. I I'm drafting Dobbins over him. To have a great year, but he is it's with him, it's not when he gets, or if he gets an injury, it's when.

SPEAKER_01

Don't care if he's my number five running back. Yeah. Oh, I had him last year. He uh he helped me and he plays for 12 games, Dobbins. If he does, yeah. Um but he's gonna outscore Harvey.

SPEAKER_02

Um maybe, maybe not. Um in when uh our guy here the Gutterstein was in uh New Orleans, he had he had two running backs, and Camara used to put up huge fantasy numbers without getting a thousand yards.

SPEAKER_01

RJ Harvey ain't out.

SPEAKER_02

RJ Harvey is uh he's a good receiver. He showed he can get in the end zone last year. He can't pass block. Well, you know, when he's going out for passes, why'd you have him pass block?

SPEAKER_01

Well, but if you're the uh if if Dobbins is gonna be uh uh the the carrying the ball the first two two uh snaps, yeah, uh that's his only his only role. Hart is a third down two.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Uh hate it. But he managed to put up a lot of yards last year, and like I said, if Harvey's gonna get a lot of play.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and by that point, if he misses your fantasy team is shit because you drafted RJ Harvey. Oh man, you're you're harsh. I am harsh. Who do you got? Uh I meant we mentioned Travion Henderson, I got him as my next sleeper. Guy I really like is Rico Dowdle in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh, okay. Uh they have one of the uh they're a top five offensive line.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh and Dowdo, Dowdle has shown that with a good offensive line, you give him a hole, that boy can go.

SPEAKER_02

He can run. He's a good runner, so is Jalen Warren.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. Um yeah, Warren's uh uh That's Dowdle's backfield.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

They both have pretty good stats, so yeah, Warren's mediocre.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Dowdle is mediocre too. But he's a useful back. Anyway, who you got next? Who do I got next? Uh my guy Bill, Jacori Krosky Merit. I knew you were gonna bring him on. He's ranked in the 40s. I mean, look look at that team. Rashad White is a receiver. He's not gonna run out of the way.

SPEAKER_01

Rashad White's gonna probably outscore Bill.

SPEAKER_02

You think you want to bet on that? Um sure. They got it. I mean, they got a rookie I like. Um I forget the name.

SPEAKER_01

It's uh But we would have to we'd have to clarify PPR points are our league. Our league. Okay, because in uh in a PPR league, Rashad White's definitely gonna outscore Bill.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the buzz.

SPEAKER_01

Uh uh No, I don't want to bet that, Dork. You don't want to bet it, okay. Yeah, I'm not high on Washington this year. I wasn't last year, and I was right. Uh so and we talked about all the reasons. Uh I I want nothing to do with those cats.

SPEAKER_02

My thing is, he he's right now, it looks like he's gonna get be the lead back as far as running the ball in Washington.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. With an in an offensive price worth 16 fucking points a game last year.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I bet they scored more than that.

SPEAKER_01

18?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Uh we'll look it up later, George. I don't like it, but uh uh I'd rather have Blake Quorum. Well again, is is he really asleep or I you know Oh well, we're talking about guys that we think are gonna outperform their ADP.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Blake Corum is gonna outperform his ADP.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. If he's drafted. But so is Jakori Krosky Merritt if he's 41 here, like he's ranked.

SPEAKER_01

He probably will outperform. But what that makes him uh RB38? Uh you can't even play some cat like that in your league.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe, maybe not. He's a second-year running back.

SPEAKER_01

I got a better guy.

SPEAKER_02

He's coming off a good rookie year.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, uh talking about uh this guy was a four-year-old.

SPEAKER_02

And you don't even want to bet against him, dude.

SPEAKER_01

Uh the uh I'm talking about a former uh Washington uh running back here that I'd rather have than than his ass. And that's Chris Rodriguez in Jacksonville.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Uh he uh uh A-chan's gone. He's gonna get all the goal line. Ahead of Tootin? Yeah. Okay. Tootin's gonna be like the third down explosive cat. When they get down at the two, you can bet Rodriguez is getting the goal line carrying. Okay, then. And then that offense is gonna score 28 points a fucking game. I want that action.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, no, that's not that's not a bad sleeper. Oh, uh, he's a total sleeper because no one's talking about it. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, who else you got, Dor?

SPEAKER_02

Uh Kenneth Gainwell in Tampa Bay. I like it. Um, it's basically about uh Bucky. Um Gainwell's shown he's a good back. Bucky was injured and ineffective last year.

SPEAKER_01

Bucky's going ahead of him in ADP.

SPEAKER_02

He is, he is, which I think is kind of dumb. Really? I I can see it, but I'm thinking Bucky's in the back of the body. Because Bucky was pretty good two years ago. Yeah, he's coming off shoulders, sir. Right. But I think Gainwell has a you know, he has a decent chance to take over, I think. So that's what that's all about. I like that.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I have Scattaboo as one of mine, and that's all that's all I got.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Um, here's two deep sleepers. First of all, if um this is according to the current depth charts on San Francisco and Philadelphia. Okay. And you'd be taking if put it this way, if I Jordan James and Tank Bigsby.

SPEAKER_01

I like both of those. And if I had McCaffrey, it's hurt now, but it's early.

SPEAKER_02

If I had McCaffrey or um Barkley, I would absolutely grab one of either or whoever was the teammate. I would get the handcuffs.

SPEAKER_01

I usually don't do handcuffs, but uh uh.

SPEAKER_02

Well we are expanding, we are expanding our league this year, dude.

SPEAKER_01

I could see both of those.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Or we're expanding our rosters. Yes, we are. And um I'm under the I just believe on both those teams, whoever is the running back is gonna produce. I agree. In fantasy. No doubt. But keep an eye on the San Francisco depth chart. Currently James is the backup, but that could change.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and he and he's uh uh he's not available for practice right now for some reason. Yeah, uh, but it it's early, it's still July and shit. Okay, anything else at all? That's all I got. No, nothing else. That's all I got too. Uh uh next week, how about mock draft?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, you don't want to do wide receivers first?

SPEAKER_01

Well, uh we can do both.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Uh uh we'll come up with our top 20 wide receivers with some sleepers.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I timed a mock draft, uh uh eight-teamer on uh uh football calculator or whatever. Uh takes 12 minutes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

What do you think? Let's do it. Yeah, we'll do it. We'll do the next one. We've got extra hours. We got extra hours this month. We might as well use 20 minutes to do a mock. Right? Right on. Yeah, so you bring your laptop. All right. Well, thanks for watching Fantasy Football with the Dork in the Dude. We'll see you next week, right, Dark?

SPEAKER_02

We'll see you next week. Football's coming, people. That's it. Um read that training camp news, see who's up, who's down in the fantasy position.

SPEAKER_01

It's great that at least training camp opened up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Football's coming fast.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it is.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Um thanks for tuning in and uh tune in next week, wide receivers, and then we're gonna do a mock draft. You got it.
