"There are corridors between us. All of us. All those things we leave unsaid. All those things that we assume of each other- about each other. Sometimes it feels like all the tragedies of being human exist in those lonely spaces."

Welcome to another season of Storied Arcs! This time out, Mike and Alex journey back to the mid-90s for Dan Watters and Casper Wijngaard's Home Sick Pilots Volume 1: Teenage Haunts (issues #1-5) from Image Comics. The guys dive right into the book, discussing the POV of the narration and how that effects the reader's interpretation of the story, and the wonder of Casper Wijngaard's art and use of color. They also dig into the 90s nostalgia of it all, examine what genre this comic is, and come to terms with the "Power Rangers meets The Shining" line from the official solicitation. Finally, the guys speculate a little on the many different directions the story could continue down heading into the next volume.

The 90s flashbacks continue next week as we get into Home Sick Pilots Volume 2: I Wanna Be A Walking Weapon (issues #6-10), so find it wherever you get your comics and join us for the discussion!
