Ep 20---

Welcome to episode 20. I'm joined by both Dermot & Paula Lahiff for the first duo on the podcast!

In 1985, the Lahiff family moved to Boyle and took over the Lakeshore restaurant in Rockingham. They remained there until 1995, becoming fully integrated into the local community and participating in various town organizations.

During their tenure, they played a significant role in marketing the forest park to attract tourists from all over the country. The foundation they laid during their time in the park has undoubtedly contributed to its major success in recent years.

The Lahiffs were not only business owners but also genuine and kind people who were committed to the success of Boyle. While I have my own fond personal memories of them from their time in Boyle, their impact on the town speaks for itself.

It's a great episode that highlights the Lahiff family's contributions to the town of Boyle and some of the lifelong friends they made.
