Dr. Christopher K. Slaton's groundbreaking work in Human Systems Science opens up new possibilities for understanding and addressing children's mental health and development. This emerging field represents a paradigm shift in how we approach brain talk and cognitive development, especially for children experiencing crisis or developmental challenges. At its core, Human Systems Science recognizes that the brain and body are inseparable entities functioning together to create our lived experience, yet it places special emphasis on how we communicate with the child's brain rather than simply addressing behaviors.

The concept of the "sense path" forms a critical component of this science. Dr. Slaton explains that children are often born into dynamics that prevent them from reaching their full potential because caregivers are unaware of how to properly show signs of care for the developing brain. This lack of proper brain-focused care creates generations of children growing up without a well-developed sense of feel or care for themselves and others. The sense path, as Dr. Slaton describes it, serves as the brain's funnel for participation in contact, interaction, cooperation, and broader social engagement. When this path is disrupted or improperly developed, children struggle with fundamental aspects of human connection and learning.

One of the most compelling insights from Human Systems Science is the connection between sensory experience and cognitive development. Dr. Slaton illustrates how a child who cannot make positive contact with others will struggle to interact cognitively and neurophysically when cooperation is required. This cascading effect explains why children who feel uncomfortable in their own sensory experience may struggle with reading, writing, drawing, and overall academic performance. It's not merely about skill development but about creating comfortable neurological pathways that allow the child to fully participate in these activities without being hindered by internal discomfort or external irritants that trigger pain, hurt, or sadness.

The approach advocates for speaking directly to the child's brain rather than focusing solely on bodily behaviors. By informing the brain properly, we can reduce fear and anxiety of the unknown, while disciplining the body to focus the senses. This balanced approach makes it easier for children to accept and process energy, action, and feelings in healthy ways. Dr. Slaton's methodology includes self-research, help, and discovery components that help both practitioners and children comprehend the flow of emotion and thought processes, reflecting on the experience of brain, body, and sense messaging in an integrated manner.

With his upcoming book "Human Systems Science in the Best Interest of the Child's Mental Health and Self-Awareness" set for release in August 2025, Dr. Slaton continues to develop this field that promises to transform how we understand and support children's development. The ultimate goal remains clear: to create pathways for children to develop a genuine sense of feel for themselves by receiving proper care that acknowledges the brain within the body. As Dr. Slaton poignantly asks, "If you don't give a child care, then how do they develop a sense of feel for self?" This question lies

Introduction to Human Systems Science

Speaker 1

Hey, welcome to Doc Slade. Live the brain's body, the ultimate experience. And we talk about human systems science, because human systems science is a new frontier in brain talk and what we mean by that is it's time to talk about the brain. We're talking about mental health, we're talking about child development. We're talking about the crises of self, how children are born into dynamics that prevent them from reaching their full potential, Because no one's worried about the sense path. How a child receives contact from another person who's unaware of how to show signs of care for the brain inside the body. And what that means is that we have a lot of children growing up without a sense of feel or care for self and others because they weren't properly introduced to the breath of life.

Understanding Brain Talk

Speaker 1

So human science allows me to study brain, body and sense events to make sense of. To study brain, body and sense events to make sense of. So a child in crises, for example, who's wondering why, why is this happening to me? Why can't I respond differently? It's because your sense path has been reset, so your received path is recognized as the brain's funnel for you participating in contact, interaction, cooperation, participation, because any one of those can make you go backwards. Because if you can't make contact positively, then how do you interact, cognitively, neurophysically, when you have to cooperate? So if you don't know how to cooperate with the contact flow because you're irritated by something internal or something external that's influencing pain, hurt and sadness, it prevents you from participating in reading, writing, acting, drawing and performing in program settings, training settings, Because you feel uncomfortable. So this is Dr Staten Lyon.

Brain Body Connection Explained

Speaker 2

Human systems science focuses on the mental health and self-awareness of children, emphasizing the importance of these aspects in their development. The key message is to talk to the child's brain, not the child's body, which emphasizes the importance of addressing the mental and cognitive aspects of a parent's contact and interactions with his or her brain. For instance, the new frontier in brain talk is the Brain Talker, which is a brand of science by Dr Slayton Live from his work with children and families in crisis. The way you talk to a child's brain matters because learning the brain can reduce fear and anxiety of the unknown when you inform the brain and you can discipline the body to focus the senses, which can make it easier to accept how energy, action and feelings feel. In addition to this, the author's sciences include self-research help and discovery, which helps to comprehend the flow of emotion and the process of thought, with acts to reflect on the experience of brain, and the process of thought with acts to reflect on the experience of brain, body and sense messaging. When you experience a child's brain, you must be more informed about their sense and receive path structures that can accept or reject the experience of you based on how you lead them to feel you. Developing a Sense of Feel

Speaker 1

Here we go. Hope you enjoyed it. Dr Slayton, live the ultimate experience the brain body, the brain's body. What we mean is that your brain is the body and that's what we have to have this conversation. Stay tuned, dr Slade, live. Keeping it real. Speak the truth, brain talk. How did your brain talk back? No, these are real questions. I'm asking you so, when you're tuning in, check that out. How does your brain talk back, especially after you met with Dr Slade Lyon going through one of his sessions? How does your brain talk back? Do you have a sense of feel? Do you feel a sense of care? Care matters, because if you don't give a child care, then how do they develop a sense of feel for self? That includes you, dr Slade Lyon. Keep it real, stay tuned.
