Brain's Body Podcast: Help to Improve Mental, Physical, and Emotional Healing Through Self-Learning
Hosted by Dr. Christopher K. Slaton. The Brain’s Body Podcast responds to the hidden physical, mental, and emotional causes of growing up hurt by major life events in home, school, neighborhood, and workplace networks that affect the way you live, learn, think, and respond. That sets up the goal of the Brain’s Body Podcast, to discuss the needs of children, parents, teachers, and health and human service professionals using human systems science. Human systems science is the study of brain, body, and sense events. This is help, to explain the natural process flow for the experience of mental, physical, and emotional health. The brain is the body. The Brain’s Body is a Learning System. This is process learning. Dr. Christopher K. Slaton is an author who talks to the brain, not the body. Learn why a sense of feel for self and the brain in the lead of the body is a necessary experience. With more than 30 years of experience studying the home, school, neighborhood, and workplace networks of children, parents, teachers, and health and human service professionals he explains how you help to improve sense and receive path functions. As you are learning how to help move energy, action, and feelings through your sense and receive path functions, you study ways to manage and control the flow through a sense, feel, and focus process cycle. This is level one of the Brain’s Body Learning System.Dr. Slaton Live discusses the infrastructure for personal, academic, social, and occupational success through the way you may choose to live in a home; learn in a school; think in a neighborhood; and respond in a workplace as test sites of the Brain’s Body Learning System. Help restore your sense and receive path functions. You want to master how you learn to live in a home; to help you master how you learn to learn in a school; to help you master how you learn to think in a neighborhood; to help you master how you learn to respond in a workplace. In other words, at level one: you may learn how to lead a family; how to apply your education; how to participate in government; and how to develop your business through the Brain’s Body Learning System. Dr. Christopher K. Slaton is the author of Education and Science: The Brain's Body, Help to Improve Brain, Body, and Sense Events.

What happens when your emotions sprint and your brain jogs behind? We dive into Human System Science to show how to flip that script—so the brain leads, the body follows, and your senses become a precision toolkit for action. This conversation maps the path from reactivity to regulation, turning inner noise into readable signals into intelligent choices.
We walk through the mechanics of brain talk emotion, thought, reflection, and memory working as a dynamic loop. You will learn why studying the brain clarifies the body’s reactions, how to rotate from physical to neural leadership, and how sense and receive paths transform anxiety into awareness. We connect these ideas to real outcomes—self-leadership, workforce development, and the ability to deliver consistent labor under pressure. Instead of pushing through training, you will process it, using action learning to turn experiences into reliable skills.
Expect practical steps you can try today: scan your body to map signals, practice the calm-to-cool transition, label memory vs. emotion, and align thought with reflection. We pose sharp questions to expose static states and environmental pulls that jam information flow. As you coordinate body noises with brain sounds through signs of care, you’ll feel the shift into forward feed—those moments when your language, timing, and presence click and others can see the difference. That is brain talk in action: a cooperative inner dialogue that upgrades performance and restores control.
If this resonates, follow the show, share it with someone who needs clarity under stress, and leave a review with the one signal you plan to retrain this week. Your brain is talking—are you ready to talk back?

Welcome And Core Premise
SPEAKER_01Welcome to the Brain's Body Podcast, hosted by me, Dr. Christopher Kevin Slayton, author of Brain Talk Books, Human System Science, and Why. Because if you want to understand signs of care, then you want to study brain, body, and sense events. Because the brain talks using the body and the senses to show signs of how it feels to become physical in the sense of evolving as a mental evolutionary because you want to catch up. I talk about the breath of life. I'm talking about how you're born emotional, and the brain has to catch up to that emotion. So many of us never mature because we're caught up. We're caught up in that situation of emotion that's out of control. And it's hard for us to understand care because we're wrapped up in the emotional effect of anxiety, fear, anger. So what am I talking about? I'm talking about human system science. And I'm talking about human system science because you don't know, you should know why human system science helps improve how you move through the crisis of self, how you move through situations that you find yourself disadvantaged because you have a lack of discipline, a lack of information flow, a lack of processing skills. And what we're talking about is you study the brain to learn the body. Oh, you don't study the body to learn the brain, you study the brain to learn the body because the bodies will reacts. And you want to know how to become mental so that as you evolve into human system science, you're beginning to understand how your brain processes negative emotion, positive emotion, thought, reflection, memory are all four of those components that interwind into why you have mood states and why you can't get out of your own way sometimes. So I'm still talking about labor because if you can't control how you participate, then how do you take your labor and offer it for a price, a reward, compensation? But you don't know how to deliver it because you lack internal control. Humanism science teaches you how to sense to feel to focus your brain, body, and sense system. And when you're doing that, humanism science focuses on the comprehensive study of the brain, body, and sense events with the goal to advance research on sense and receive path functioning. Because the sense path is the body, the receive path is the brain, and they must interact. So you physically are born into the world as a physical component, but you're more neural than your physical. The outside of you has nothing to do with the amount of chemicals moving through your internal neural systems that make things happen. And that's what I'm talking about how to inform the brain, discipline the body, and process the senses. How's that said it? Process the senses because the senses read and interpret everything, internal, external. And what am I talking about? I'm talking about a field that aims to understand the interactions and mechanisms that underlie how we perceive and respond to internal, external influences, interaction. Okay? That's why pain hurts. Because it's from the memory of the experience. No pain hurts, but the memory of the experience, emotional fear, anger, anxiety, it hurts more because you got to process it. So when I talk about delivering your labor as an effect, you must know how to inform your own brain. Wait a minute. What does he mean? I mean you got to calm yourself down. You have to know how to transition from a calm state to being cool and collected. Cool and collected means you are synthesizing the moment, the emotion, the thought, bam, reflection. The memory is moving through you because it's being processed. So the experience of experiencing your labor is different because you're in control. And it's it's costing you not to be in control of your own labor. So when I talk about workforce development, I'm talking about self-leadership. Without self-leadership, there is no workforce development because how do you evolve if you can't keep yourself focused? If your sensory systems are all over the place, and that means your body lacks science and discipline, then what are you doing? I'm talking human system science. I'm talking about brain talks. I'm talking about how the brain talks back. I'm talking about if I'm reading you and you're inside my laboratory, or inside my class, inside my workshop, inside my seminar, and I'm talking to you and I'm showing you why it's more to it than just looking at the body. Because you want to assess the brain and how the brain releases energy, emotion, energy, thought, energy, reflection, energy, memory. No, they're not the same things, but they're all properties that the brain has to absorb in order for you to become more aware of who and what you're becoming as you become more informed about what it what it really takes for you to be successful from where you are, from where you are. And understanding that when you walk outside, everything's coming at you. Everything has a price. We're talking about your labor, and everything has a price because everybody can see you. So they're responding to your labor. And if you don't understand how to discipline yourself, you're gonna fall for anything and everything, and you're gonna fall further and further behind because you have no impulse control, and you're just saying, yes, yes, yes, yes, I want, want, one, one. And not understanding you have to control that flow of information forward and backward. I talk about it in the book. Human science special child. I talk about in the book, reflective storytelling. I talk about it in the book, brain talk. I talk about it in the book, brain's body, the brain's body learning system, the toolkit, human system science. I'm talking about how you begin to recover from where you are when you're in a program, but you're trying to process the experience of that program. Well, I'm trying to I'm trying to explain to you that you have to move through process cycles because you are a processor. You cannot move through training and just be trained and expect to have an outcome that serves you and your need to become more effective at mastering your own labor because you got to process the experience of the training. And what I'm saying to you is that means that you have to experience the experience of the ups and downs, understanding what your goals are, and know how to move through each event as action learning to become more informed about what your brain, body, and sense signals are doing and saying. Doing and saying the physics and the neural neurologics of the neural systems, called the neurosystems, and what they're doing. Because I'm saying to you, I talk about in the book how you rotate, the body rotates in the lead of the brain, and what happens? You get nothing but physicality because the brain has to be in the lead role. So when I say rotate, sense, receive path, rotation. The brain receives the flow of energy, action, and feelings and influence how the brain responds, because that's processing of that inner energy action, feelings, information, understanding, comprehension, assessment, evaluation, self-analy. All these things are happening. I'm talking about bloom technology. All those things are happening simultaneously because you're learning how to understand your brain as it relates to your body, behavior, as it relates to your senses, processing. Okay? This is not a straight line, keeping it real, be back shortly. This is only part one. Part two, coming at you shortly. Let's take a break.
Crisis Of Self And Static States
SPEAKER_00Part two, the way you become more aware of how your brain learns. Choose to live each day to learn how to become more informed. Choose to learn how it feels to sense and receive energy, action, and feelings. Choose to think through the physics of memory and emotion in states of mind. Choose to respond to the neurophysics of reflection and insight. Choose to study the way the brain rotates in the lead of the body to structure the senses. Read how the brain transforms the body. Interpreting how the body transforms the mind. Understand how the senses coordinate the flow of forward and backward messaging. Comprehend how pain, hurt, and sadness can be rewarding. Experience the flow of energy, action, and feelings amid the physics and neurophysics of self. Study what causes memory and emotion to clash with thought and reflection. Study why the brain creates thought and reflection to align with emotion and memory. Study how the brain learns, the body lives, and the senses focus. Study how the brain informs the body as neural and physical systems. Study the problem, the crisis of self. Why does the body break free of the brain? Why can static states of mind emerge that affect the flow of information? Why does the brain rotate through a sense of feel for the experience of self? Why does the brain connect the body to the senses? Why does the neurophysics of self-shape how the brain talks back? What are physics of self and how do the inner voices of the body challenge the brain? What is the neurophysiology of the senses and how does self-talk link brain and body signals? How do you become more aware of environmental influences that impact neuroprocessing? How do you process external and internal brain, body, and sense experiences of self? How do you inform the brain, discipline the body, and process the senses to cooperate? How do you participate in sense and receive path research to master your greatest needs? How do you highlight your neural and physical capacity to perform as the brain's body? This is human system science, the new frontier in brain talk. You talk to the brain because the brain talks back.
Brain Talk And Forward Feeding
SPEAKER_01And see, that's why you have to care. Because you have to learn how to move through sensory path functions and understand the complexity that you're moving through, how that emotion impacts how you feel the rotation from the physical you to the neural you. And you can only do it because you have to cooperate, which means you have to help self-interact through the brain's body to comprehend the brain talk that's taking place because you have the external inner voice coming at you, and then you have the brain self-talk in your head moving through you. You can't shake it. That's reflection, reflection, reflection on top of what the experiences are that the memory clips are maintaining in front of you, and you're trying just locked into this conversation, and you're trying to reach that level of functionality where the brain says enough and starts forward feeding the information. It's called brain talk. And you know it because when you start talking through your brain's body, you are excited because there's things coming out of you that you didn't know was part of your capacity. And so you are amazed at the ultimate experience you see when you look at that other person you're communicating with and they're in a state of awe because they're fascinated with the way you're delivering that energy flow. This is Dr. Slate live talking about brain talk. Brain talk, this is brain talk. We're talking about the brain's body. That's where we're going today.
Signals, Scanning The Body, Sense-Receive Messaging
When The Brain Doesn’t Lead The Body
SPEAKER_00Part 3. Dr. Slayton Lived the Brain Talker. Do you know why the brain talks back? The voices in your head are calls to action. The sounds in your sleep flow from reflective emotions and thoughts. The noises in your body are signals for your brain to respond. These are brain and body signals you can sense the noise, feel the sounds, and focus. All you need to do is receive the noise, process the sounds, and respond through signs of care. In the first step, you learn how your brain feels when you scan the body. This is where you recognize your sense of self, to receive your sense of feel for your brain. This is the neural you that expresses how the brain and body connection feels. Like when you scan your body, you reflect through the study of self-contact. The way the body feels shifts to the neural signs of the brain. You can feel how the body rotates with the brain as the study of self. This is the moment where you realize that you can feel everything. The way the brain talks to the body is sense and receive path messaging. Back and forth, the physics of the body rotate to the neural systems of the brain. The experience of the brain and emotion. The experiencing of the body and thought. The experiences of the senses and reflection. Memory leads to ways of knowing and insight. You learn your brain through a sense of feel for self. You sense contact. You feel how your brain and body interacts. You focus your brain and body to cooperate. You can feel the way your brain rotates with your body. The crisis of self? When the brain does not rotate in the lead of the body. When your body wears your states of mind. When your brain collides with your body, the body is prone to react. The brain acts to respond. The senses reflect brain and body conflicts. Like when you sense to feel to focus the body instead of self and the brain. The brain talks back through signs of care. This is how you coordinate the noises of the body with sounds of the brain.
Signs Of Care And Performance
SPEAKER_01This is Dr. Christopher Kevin Slayton. This is the Brain's Body Podcast. We've been talking about brain talk, but there's two spectrums that I want you to look at when you review what we just now talked about. Signs of care and how it feels to become more intelligent, more neurophysical in processing who and what you are becoming as the information moves through you because now you're participating, you're doing the work, you're moving through the contact, you're moving through the interaction, you're moving through cooperative levels of functioning, sense receive path awareness. So you're participating and you're trying to reach that high level of proficiency, performance. Dr. Slate Live, stay tuned. I'm gonna keep bringing it to you till you get it. Brains by Learning System, stay tuned. Dr. Slate Live, tuning out.
