Hey all in this series of mini episodes, I am basically walking you through some frequently asked questions regarding the doctor, coach school, becoming a coach. Um, the entire process of signing clients. And so, yeah, those, these will just be very, very quick episodes to the point. To answer your questions. So feel free to just pop in on the question that you have had yourself. Um, and if you have any questions that I have not answered, You can go ahead and shoot me a DM. Um, on Instagram, my name is Dr. Kimmy underscore, and we will leave that in the show notes as well. One of the ladies in our challenge as to really go question, she said, what are the other costs? Uh, associated with starting a coaching business. And I thought this is, this was a really, really good question, because you want to know, you want to be informed of that, right? And so here are the costs of running a coaching business. Number one, you need a zoom account. Okay. You need a zoom account. You want to make sure it is not the free account. That is the paid account because the free account runs out after like 40 or 45 minutes. And if you are doing hour long coaching calls with your clients, you want to make sure that you have the entire time and that you are not scrambling at the end. Because your time is running out. So you definitely want to have a zoom. The second, um, investment you will be making is into a calendar service of some sort so that people can book sales calls with you. So you want to. Think about Calendly. I particularly love Calendly and have used them for years and they are a black owned business. Um, but I have used acuity in the past as well. I think Calendly is way more straight forward for my business needs. But acuity works as well. There are other apps or services as well. Um, There's one called I'm trying to think of the name of it, but it's like one hub, maybe. Um, some people, you know, like. You know, Calendar apps that are a little bit more niche. Um, I, I just use Calendly. My most of my clients use Calendly and it's just fine. Um, So that is the second cost. Um, the last cost that is optional, but can be, can be helpful in, is. Recommended that you definitely want to do this. At some point, you don't necessarily have to do this in the beginning, however, and that is a brand photo shoot. Um, when I talk about branding, it's really about how you want to make people feel when they interact with your work. And so thinking about, um, branding and really stepping in into the belief. As a doctor coach by showcasing your branding. In the beginning is really about you just, again, embodying being a coach. Right now, I have clients that have made six figures without a brand photo shoot. Right. I have had clients that, um, have sold$20,000 offers without a brand photo shoot. So if it helps you. To embody the identity of a coach. Go ahead and get a mini brand shooting. It doesn't mean you have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars. Um, you can use a company like shot. Um, which travels to different cities and you do these mini photo shoots with them. And I think it's a couple hundred dollars or less. Um, and those are really the upfront costs. You do not want to be doing things like running ads in the beginning, because you were going to be running ads to a messaging that has not been tested or proven. So you don't want to run ads in the beginning. You really, when you want to think about just learning how to sell organically first. Um, I'm trying to think of. There are any other things that I thought I would have to pay for. Oh, here's another one. You do not need a Kajabi course portal or backend platform like I currently have now again, you want to really learn how to flesh out. Your own intellectual property before you solidify it into a course, so much changes, so much changes when you actually work with clients one-on-one and you were helping them to attain results so much changes, right? So you don't want to spend months and months and time and money. On. IP that is going to be flexed, right? That is going to change. That is going to adapt. You want to do that after you have solid quiet results and you are consistently hitting those client results. Then you want to. Um, shift toward, um, solidifying your IP into a course module type of situation. If you want to scale your business, right? So some people want to do one-on-one coaching forever. You may not ever have a course component, but if you do want to scale into a group offer. Eventually you'd want to have, you know, a self paced course of some sort. Please do not do this in the beginning. You are going to waste time and you are going to raise money. Get your client's results, refine your IP. And then you can build that out. Once you are in the scaling aspect of your, of your coaching company. So again, just a little quick episode, I hope that this was helpful and I'll see you on the next one. Peace and love. Y'all.
