Ep. 81 "But I don't want to be fat and happy"
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
I hear this all the time as a nutritionist who helps to unravel decades of diet culture and get people feeling confident in their bodies.
Ignoring your body image is futile because you have one whether you work on it or not. But because body image is often confused with body positivity, there is this assumption that if you work on your body image, you'll let yourself go.
And this episode is why that is my personal pet peeve. Give this episode a listen if you are worried about working on your body image and letting yourself go, even though you know you'd love to live in a world where a body image trigger didn't ruin your whole day.
