Speaker 1:

So come join us on the magical journey of exploring your Awakening Souls.

Speaker 2:

Hey guys, and welcome back to another episode of Awakening Souls. It's Candice here with Jennifer and Rose, and today we are exploring something a little bit different, something that might feel really lighthearted and fun on the surface but actually holds incredible power for our spiritual and personal growth, and the idea is spiritual play and experimentation. So if you're anything like me, your spiritual journey might have started with kind of a mix of curiosity, seriousness, wanting to find your purpose, maybe trying to understand a little bit more. For me, it was about turning towards spirituality because I was at the end of my rope and I needed something to give me guidance. So maybe you've turned to spirituality when you needed answers or guidance and at times sometimes it feels like there's a lot riding on the outcome.

Speaker 2:

I know I've been there seeking clarity and direction during some of the most uncertain times of my life. But something I've learned along the way is that when we let go of those heavy expectations, when we approach spirituality with curiosity and a sense of exploration and wonder, something really magical happens. Doors begin to open, insights begin to flow and our connection to our intuition deepens in ways we don't always anticipate. So what does it actually mean to play with our spirituality and how can experimenting with creative imagination practices help us grow and connect and expand. That's exactly what we'll be talking about today. We'll dive into how imagination bridges the gap between our consciousness and our higher selves, share some of our fun techniques for exploring spiritual play and explore the incredible benefits this kind of lighthearted approach can bring to our spiritual journeys. So let's begin by breaking it all down. What is spiritual play? Why does it matter and how can it transform the way we connect with our inner selves and the universe around us? How do you guys define spiritual play? What does that look like for you?

Speaker 3:

Okay. Spiritual play is just like play as a child, where you are using your imagination, where you are creating just for the fun of it and the biggest part is that you don't have any expectations of what's going to happen. You have no outcomes that you're trying to achieve. You are just playing to see what happens, and by taking off the responsibility of trying to achieve some kind of a goal, it allows for new things to happen. And so spiritual play is experimenting, and it can be experimenting in lots of different ways. It can be experimenting with your intuition and trying different types of intuition and just seeing what happens. It can be experimenting with spirit guides, where you're trying to connect with them and you just have some fun, playful ways to try and build relationship. It can be just using your imagination and using it in a way that you are building stories or experiences just in your imagination and by taking away the. This has to be accurate, this has to be true, this has to be right. It almost sets yourself free to allow in more possibilities and new things.

Speaker 2:

I think we talk a lot at least we have recently about the art of non-attachment and if you go back and listen to our most recent episodes, I feel like we've almost mentioned that idea or that concept multiple times of not having attachment to the outcome.

Speaker 2:

And I think that's one of the hardest things we can do as just being human beings, but one of the best things we can do as human beings, because when there is an attachment to an outcome whether it is looking for spiritual guidance and wanting to know the answer or the purpose of your life right, looking for spiritual guidance and wanting to know the answer or the purpose of your life, right, we there's like this energy that you have, and the energy of attachment, when I read into it is heavy, it's dense, it's contracted, it's constricted, but when you go into something without attachment, there's openness, the aura, the energy is open and it's fluffy and it's flowing and it's allowing in possibility of something to come in. So attachment is almost closing yourself off to any possibility and then the art of non-attachment is allowing all possibilities to come in.

Speaker 3:

So that makes me think of controlling behaviors. So when I try and control some kind of an outcome and I want something to happen in a certain way, I'm only open to you know possibilities coming to me through that rigid control that I have. But if I let go of the expectation, if I let go of the control, then all of a sudden I'm so much more open and things can come at me from all different directions and they are going to be things that maybe I didn't think of, that are going to be awesome. One of the most important parts of spiritual play is using your imagination. The imagination is just such a wonderful tool and and I think as children we are so good at using our imaginations. I can just remember all kinds of stories that I would write in my head or me and my friends would create together, and it was like we created this whole other world that was so magical and that was filled with all the things that we wanted to do or be, and all we had to do is imagine it, and so there's so much freedom and power in that, and as we're working through our spiritual awakenings, we're working with our imagination, and so the more we can tap into it, to it it like adds fuel and it adds this openness to new possibilities.

Speaker 3:

And so I found that when I was kind of at the beginning of my spiritual awakening, I had very set ideas of what that looked like and how the world functioned. And then I started reading Dolores Cannon's books. And then I started reading Dolores Cannon's books If anybody's not familiar with her she did lots of hypnosis and would take people to past lives, to other planets, to other dimensions and other realms. And I started reading that and I'm like, oh my gosh, there's this whole world out here that I haven't even let myself explore or think is real. And so one of my favorite ways to play is, once I got some of that material, I might read a chapter in one of her books and maybe somebody went to another planet and was an alien.

Speaker 3:

And so I imagine, okay, let's just make up that story in my mind. If that were me, what would that look like? What kind of planet would I go to? What kind of being would I be? Who am I and what is this place like? And all of a sudden I found that when I went into meditation I could go to all these different places because I labeled it as play and imagination and experimentation. I didn't put the responsibility of this has to be intuitive, this has to be real. It was like I let go of that disbelief and just thought, well, let's just play around with that. So that was one of my you know, first ways to really start exploring with my imagination. How do you guys work with your imaginations and your spirituality?

Speaker 1:

Well for me. I was just thinking like there are times when I like wake up in the morning and I'm just kind of like, okay, another day. So I just kind of imagine like, what, what could I be today? Like what would make me feel really great Just the other day. I was like, okay, I'm, I'm a healer, I'm a healer. Like I know I'm a healer, but I'm a healer, that's just on like an angelic realm or something, and I just I get there's like a chemical change inside my body when I do this too, because then I feel really good about it, I believe it, because I'm letting my imagination go and it's just one of those things that just feels really good. So I do it a lot.

Speaker 3:

So you're using that imagination as a tool for controlling your vibration, almost.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not purposely, but it does. That's the key.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, right, right, not on purpose, but that is a side effect and nice Nice.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I actually think I struggled with this question. I actually struggled a lot with this topic that we picked because I didn't come to spirituality or my intuitive gifts out of play. It wasn't like it wasn't a fun, experimentation, explorative kind of thing for me. For me it was like you're being pushed into something, like the universe was just throwing things at me and things I couldn't explain. So I felt like I had no choice but to dive in and to learn and to start to explore. But it felt like, truthfully, it felt heavier. It felt like this is, this is me and I'm trying to figure out who I am in this world where I don't know that I belong world the physical, like 3d world that I don't know that I belong here and I know that there's this magical word inside world, inside of me, that I've always believed but I've shut down for so long and so when I came to spirituality it was like I was just uncovering, myself uncovering. So it felt very serious for me the whole concept. So I think I've struggled a lot with trying to figure out well, how do I incorporate play, imagination and creativity into this realm.

Speaker 2:

But I guess, if I look back at some of the things. We've talked about it before on the podcast too. If I look back at the way I entered into some of the new things, I didn't understand the way I entered into doing Oracle card readings. I didn't have expectations when Rose was the first one to show me really Oracle card readings, and have expectations of being able to pull anything out of that. I just was like, okay, let's do it. And pulling cards and then noticing what things came in and not being hard on myself or judgmental when I wasn't understanding or getting it and it. So I guess in that kind of way that's how I found play in spirituality, but the way it came to it was very different. So yeah, we actually.

Speaker 3:

I do think that's a really good point, candice, because what you're saying is that there's different ways you can come at this idea, so you can do it some ways with imagination. You can do it other ways with playing with different techniques or different intuitive styles or intuitive gifts, and just playing with them without the heaviness. Because I do think about when we've done card readings together that it has been like play, like friends, just playing together and seeing what comes up and chiming in as we're getting just insights up and chiming in as we're getting just insights and it is a lot of fun.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think key to opening up your intuitive gifts, or even opening up to your own intuitive messages from spirit, has to have an element of non-attachment, has to have an element of of let's just play around and see what comes out. Yeah, because when you went back to what I was saying earlier about this attachment thing, right, like, if you have an attachment to the outcome, if you have an attachment to what the message is you want to hear, you know, if you have control or trying to control the outcome of it, then you're constricting what is really possible to come through.

Speaker 3:

And the other thing that I think of is when we are playing with spirituality, intuitive gifts or whatever, we are putting aside that fear of being wrong. So a lot of times, when people start developing their intuition, it's like you're like, well, this is what I'm getting, but I don't know if it's right or not. And, like you're, you're always looking for validation from other people to see if your intuitive gifts are correct or not. And that's really really normal, especially when you're just getting started, because you just you don't want to be sharing information that's inaccurate. But if you say, okay, this isn't an intuitive reading that I'm doing for somebody or even myself, I'm just going to play with this and then I can decide if this information has value or not. But if I get it wrong, it's no big deal because I'm just playing around around.

Speaker 2:

That makes me think of some of the stories you two have told about driving and how you'll use your intuition to play around and figure out, like which either which way the car is going to turn in front of you or which way you should turn, or something like that.

Speaker 1:

That's really funny. I forgot all about that. Yeah, that's, that is what I do. I play around in that way.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I it wrong, right, it doesn't really matter but it builds that muscle of letting that imagination take the lead.

Visit our websites today and let's take the next steps in your journey together. So why do you guys think curiosity is such an important part, then, of the spiritual growth? Because what we're talking about is being curious about what the outcome is, or being curious about the process of intuition without the expectation I believe curiosity is important because when we're going through our spiritual awakening, we're waking up to new ideas, new thoughts, new perspectives.

Speaker 3:

If we don't have curiosity, we're just going to stay in our comfort bubble and we're not going to want to explore new things. And how is there any growth if we don't ever explore anything new? So with spiritual awakenings we're trying to grow our spiritual selves and we're trying to encompass things about ourselves that we don't know about as well as the world around us. So if we don't have that curiosity, we're not going to really have any growth, we're not going to move forward, we're just going to be stuck in the same old patterns in the same old life. And I mean and it's not to say that pausing or slowing down for a while isn't good, Because that's important to sometimes we grow, grow, grow, and then we need to take a break and just kind of integrate all of that before we move forward.

Speaker 3:

But hopefully we continue moving forward and curiosity is key to that. I don't know about you guys, but I like can't ever stop learning about spiritual stuff, Like as I'm scrolling on Facebook or whatever, every advertisement that's got this new training or this new way of doing something spiritual. I want to sign up for all of them. It's like I'm so curious now, because each time I learn something new, I learned something about myself and I can grow and expand.

Speaker 1:

It's an addiction, really. Yeah, I suffer from that same same addiction.

Speaker 2:

Is it an addiction or is it a passion?

Speaker 1:

Maybe a little bit of both.

Speaker 2:

Because I could say it's an addiction, but I actually think it is more of a passion. Because, I can stop if I wanted to. That's so true.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I like your word passion better. That's definitely a higher vibration word.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like this idea of approaching things with curiosity because, especially when you're going through an awakening, of whatever kind, or you have life-changing circumstances in your life, it will shatter beliefs, beliefs that you have held, beliefs of what the world really looks like, beliefs of how you operate and who you are or who the people are around you. And so when we can let go of that, let go of expectations of what we want or expect the world to look like, and say, hmm, this is interesting, I'm going to approach this with more curiosity. Then it kind of allows that energy to open up, allows for the possibilities of more to come in, and it makes it easier to have life-shattering bubbles popped and be able to go okay, I'm going to look at this from a place of curiosity, non-judgment and non-attachment to the outcome. And where is this going to take me? Let's play and explore with this new concept that has come into my reality.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so why don't we talk about some different ways people could play with their imagination, whether it be spiritual or everyday life? Because it all counts. So try, try my little trick.

Speaker 1:

What's your trick, jennifer? Well, I mean like, if you're driving in the car, try to predict what the person in front of you is going to do, or you know something similar.

Speaker 3:

That's one way I like to dig into different realms with my imagination, so like I'll be like Ooh, let's go to an alien planet and explore and I'll just see what my mind imagines. And it's like maybe some of it is intuition, but I know some of it is creation as well. It's like I'm practicing that creation muscle, which is so much fun. And so you know, if I want this to be a water world where everybody is mermaids, then that's what I create and that's just so much fun and so freeing and so enjoyable. So that's one way, is just imagination.

Speaker 3:

I'll go to different planets. I will go out into space and just float in my mind. I will go to the depths of the sea and imagine I'm swimming around. I will imagine myself in different locations that I've been to on the planet. For example, there's a place I used to go camping all the time and it's just so beautiful and so sacred. So I'll go back there in my imagination often, just to, you know, see if the energy still feels good, you know, and it's wonderful because it's a great way to travel. It's so quick and instantaneous.

Speaker 2:

It doesn't cost anything.

Speaker 3:

And your mind doesn't know the difference between what you imagine and what is real. So it's like I'm taking my brain on a vacation and it gets to have this lovely experience that I'm just creating. I also can imagine interactions with other people, and so sometimes if I've, oh, this, this is like almost a therapeutic one, like if I've had an interaction that I didn't like, I will imagine a new one that makes me feel better, you know. Or if I didn't say the words because I didn't know, but the words come at you later, I imagine that scene again and I say what I want to say, and that can be cathartic, so that can be really good. So those are some things that I do with imagination.

Speaker 3:

I do the car one, just like you, jennifer, where I'm driving and I'll you know where are they going to turn next.

Speaker 3:

Or sometimes I'll ask myself how are the people in the car in front of me feeling right now?

Speaker 3:

And something will just pop into my imagination and you know they're in a hurry or they're relaxed, or and I don't know if it's real or not and I have no way of checking that out, but you know, it's just fun to kind of explore and it like, gets my mind active. And it also is a great distraction when I've got those ruminating negative thoughts. A lot of times, when I'm just in a bad cycle and like I know I'm in a bad cycle and I know the negative thoughts aren't true or accurate, but for whatever reason I can't shut them off. Then I bring in imagination to the rescue and I start imagining either myself being in a calm place imagine myself calming down, it's like and the mind has the power to create and manifest. So if I'm imagining all these positive, beautiful things in my mind, what kinds of things am I going to attract in my world? Positive, beautiful things? So it can be a great tool for shutting off that negative thinking and bringing in a higher vibration.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I also play around with like responses from objects or beings that cannot respond, like my animals or dog or a bug on my wall the other day. You know, I just I'll like talk to them in my head and just imagine a response from them. Yes, who knows, I could be right.

Speaker 3:

Or your plants. I do that with my plants all the time.

Speaker 2:

I talk to my plants.

Speaker 3:

You know, this morning at my geranium Boy, you are flowering. You are just looking so beautiful today. Thank you for still flowering in the middle of winter.

Speaker 1:

You know, yeah, I do it to my trees.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I do it to my trees, yeah, yeah. And then imagination helps you build relationship and connection with the things around you in your life, yeah, and then. And then you ask is that imagination, or is that my intuition? I don't know. Which you know, and that's a really good question, cause it's a really blurry line between the two.

Speaker 1:

Well, sometimes you might get validation that, oh, oh, I was using my intuition. Okay, like asking the dog if they're thirsty and you hear the response yeah, I am. And you give them a fresh bowl of water and they came, come right to it and they're drinking like the whole thing.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's validation.

Speaker 3:

And I love that. That's just an everyday kind of an example.

Speaker 3:

This doesn't have to be anything. That can be hard. It's having that, like Candice said, that curiosity, and then just I wonder, if I do this, what's going to happen and how they're going to react. So yeah, yeah, well, and all three of us are channelers and we do that on a regular basis, and I think you have to have a good handle on your imagination to be a channeler, because that framework is having no expectation of what's going to happen, having the openness to allow things to come into your consciousness or awareness that you may not agree with, you may not understand, you may have no prior experience to. So your mind also has to be open enough to be able to receive things that are different than your normal way of thinking, and imagination really helps to build that ability.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it sounds like playing around and talking to your bugs and your plants and figuring out which way the car in front of you is going to turn is just silly nonsense. But actually what it's doing is it's priming, preparing and training your brain to expand its ability for creativity. So when it comes to things like connecting with spirit or receiving guidance, you have already expanded that creative muscle so that way you can receive things that you may not have been able to dream up or think about in that more constricted state that you have. You know, with you weren't practicing expanding your creativity. So I like to think the three of us aren't just channelers. The three of us are actually all artists.

Speaker 2:

Rose used to be an art teacher. Jennifer has always done art her entire life. She still is doing art. I have an art minor and I love art and I do art in many different ways, not just in specific mediums like painting or drawing, but I do art when I'm doing like my creative stuff for TikToks or for Instagram and things like that, or for creating my website and all of those things, or for creating my website and all of those things, and we have all been able to like.

Speaker 2:

It's all natural for us to dive into the creative world which I think is why this topic came up in our orbit was because we experience and play around with being creative, and creative doesn't always mean that we're guessing what people are gonna be doing in front of us, right, there's an element of intuition that goes into creativity. So, even though you may be guessing that the person in front of you might be taking a left turn, you're really tapping into intuition and then receiving validation when that left turn is actually taken, or getting to know the process of how intuition works. If they decided to take a right turn instead, then you go oh, okay, intuition works. If they decided to take a right turn instead, then you go Ooh, okay, the way I felt that in my body felt different because it was wrong. That's not how I'm receiving intuition Right. And when you get it right, you're like oh, I get it now. That is how I receive intuition. It felt different when I got it Right. Does that make sense?

Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yes, because I was doing that yeah, the play is practice and it also builds in that habit of accessing that part of your mind, of using it on a regular basis. So it's going to build those neural connections and it's going to make it stronger. So I think, candice, you're right, art is one really good way of being creative, and not just you know, not just visual art, but also sound music. It can be. Writing. Writing is another good way to use your imagination. So writing stories or doing automatic writing which is awesome, awesome, that's a great way to build your imagination is just to write whatever comes into your mind, with no filter and no judgment, and that's a really good practice, a good way to start playing and just see what comes out, and a lot of times, what comes through are things that you would never think of in your own mind, and so it's almost like your imagination is opening you up to pull in new ideas, new thoughts, new philosophies for you to consider.

Speaker 1:

One of the things that just popped into my head was like I love it when my granddaughters are around, because then I can really use my imagination. I think one of my favorite things when I was watching Natalie all the time was we would crumple up this paper and draw on it and it would be our map. So we write an X on it and then we get this great big cardboard box and pretend it was our ship. And then we'd get this great big cardboard box and pretend it was our ship and then we'd sail the ship and look for our pirate treasures. It was so much fun. I had these little glass bottles We'd stick those little notes in. I love being able to use my imagination with my kiddos. That's one of my favorite things.

Speaker 2:

I was literally just thinking about that the other day. I think it was yesterday. I was literally just thinking about that the other day.

Speaker 1:

I think it was yesterday I was thinking about how you did the maps with me when I was little, and I saved that map.

Speaker 2:

We crumbled up a piece of paper, drew on it and wrote the X and put treasure on it.

Speaker 2:

All the little. Oh my gosh, I thought that was the most precious thing ever. I kept that map and I actually went to go look through my stuff to see if I I don't think I still have it anymore. But I that map, and I actually went to go look through my stuff to see if I don't think I still have it anymore. But I, that was such a good memory for me. I still have it. So the fact that you're bringing up that specific thing that you're doing now with my children, oh that's so cool.

Speaker 1:

I'm glad. This is why I was a teacher, because I loved using my imagination. I love playing.

Speaker 2:

Well, one thing you said, Rose, that I think is really important is you touched briefly on how your brain doesn't know the difference between what is real and what is imagined, and so, when you're thinking about creativity, you mentioned manifestation, which is my peanut butter and jelly love manifesting through visualization. Right, if you listen to Joe Dispenza, joe Dispenza is all about using visualization to visualize your future, not only visually imagining, with your creative mind, your future, of what you want, of what is possible, but also like tuning into your heart space and aligning the imagination, your creative mind, your, your logical mind, with your heart. So it's heart, brain coherence, and I just think that that is like pivotal, important, like paradigm shifting information that people need to have is that you can literally use your wild imagination to create any future that you dream or desire that is in alignment with what your soul purpose is and what you came here to accomplish in this lifetime and that's why I do the um.

Speaker 1:

I'm a healer, like almost every morning since I started doing it, like I just wake up and that's the first thing I, I imagine is I am a healer. So yeah, I'm. I'm working on it.

Speaker 2:

So is that your way of like trying to visualize the future that you desire?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and since you've started doing that, jennifer, have you noticed any shifts or changes within you?

Speaker 1:

Well, it just like I said earlier, it just all like makes it's like there's this chemical response inside my body. So my whole body feels it, from top to bottom, but I haven't really gone out. Oh yeah, well, actually I just did a little bit of healing yesterday with my granddaughter and put her right to sleep and, yeah, I could definitely feel the difference. Since I've been saying that it was, it just felt bigger.

Speaker 3:

Nice, very nice. I love that. And yeah, if you put her to sleep, that's a good sign that it's working.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, she woke up from a nap Like she was slept for 30 minutes. My dog started barking and woke her up and I just laid down with her and I started patting her on her back and then I just stopped patting and I could feel my energy just going through, cause I just had so much love. I could just feel this love coming through and I could feel it vibrating on her back and then she started twitching and I was like there's no way you're sleeping.

Speaker 2:

She fell asleep. That's how I used to put Natalie to sleep. Really, it would be the only way that I could get her to fall asleep, and I wish I would have known that with my oldest. I wish I was where I'm at now with my oldest daughter, because my oldest daughter is eight years older than my youngest, so I was going through my trauma shit back then and trying to figure out how to just survive life.

Speaker 2:

So I didn't have any of those tools, no. But with Natalie, yeah, I give her Reiki when she needs to fall asleep or when she's sick. There's been. There's been times when she's we're kind of going off topic here, but there's been times when she's had respiratory illnesses when she was really, really little and I would before even knew Reiki. I would imagine that I was sucking the illness from her lungs and taking it out, which I didn't even know.

Speaker 2:

Then, using my imagination, right, I didn't even know for sure if it was going to work. But I was using all of the love I had to pour into her to take out whatever illness was in those lungs and I swear to God she would wake up the next day feeling so much better.

Speaker 1:

She, I remember this. You told me about this.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. So proof that your imagination, you think, you might be making something up, you might actually be doing real work, you might actually be doing some healing, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yes, if your intentions are good, it's going to do something, especially a mother's love.

Speaker 1:

And a grandmother's love.

Speaker 3:

And a grandmother's love.

Speaker 1:

There's not a love that can compare to a grandmother's love. It's so weird, so different. Weird is play and experimentation. Okay, so your openness to new possibilities, a way to tap into the inner child or be playful and not adult, but not take things seriously.

Speaker 2:

But I think we forget that opening up and expanding our creative mind allows us to also be able to creatively problem solve.

Speaker 2:

This is actually one thing that I had a therapist work with me on and I can't remember if it was the therapist that worked with me on literally art therapy right, where I was like drawing things and visualizing my future and visualizing myself through art and being able to like put that on paper.

Speaker 2:

It was helping me learn how to heal from trauma. Having that art, that creative piece, is helping me learn how to heal from trauma, also helping me learn how to see different avenues or different pathways that I can take to help me expand on healing on my trauma. And this is something I share with my kids all the time. This is why I think play and using your creative mind is so important, because if you can't tap into creativity, how can you solve your problems with creativity, be able to solve these giant problems that we have here in our world and third world countries and our universe cannot be solved with just one linear way of thinking. We have to open up the possibility to creative thinking, to think outside of the box, to think abstractly, to think outside of the confines of what we've been taught and what we'd be conditioned to think, in order for us to find solutions or new, innovative things that will help us expand our reality, to help us expand our livelihoods and the health and the wellness of everybody in the world.

Speaker 1:

And that would basically be building emotional resilience, because that right here it says playful shadow work to process emotions in a gentler way playful shadow work to process emotions in a gentler way. Yeah, like what I was doing in in art therapy. Art therapy, yeah, that's what.

Speaker 3:

Reconnecting with your inner joy, yeah, we talked about that when you talked about the way you use imagination in the mornings to get yourself childlike sense of wonder.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, exploring the subconscious.

Speaker 2:

Oh yes.

Speaker 1:

Imagination opens doors to the subconscious mind, offering insights into hidden beliefs, fears and desires that can be healed or transformed beliefs, fears and desires that can be healed or transformed.

Speaker 2:

Now, this, this, this is the golden nugget that I use in. Everything that I do is looking for those beliefs. And what do you have to do? You have to go in and use your imagination to find what those beliefs are. When I'm looking for my own personal limiting beliefs that are holding me back and creating roadblocks, they are always going to be subconscious limiting beliefs. They're always going to be hidden deep into my subconscious where it's really hard for me to find it. So how do I find it? I go into visualization and I start visualizing where did that pain come from? Where, following like the breadcrumb trail that leads me back to a place in my history that can show me where that subconscious limiting belief was created? So then I can go after it and get rid of that thing and move forward with a new belief that I also use visual visualization for to help me create my new reality.

Speaker 1:

Talk about passion.

Speaker 2:

Talk about passion. This is what I love about, like spirituality, using these kinds of methods and creativity and art in order to get down to like how can I improve myself, improve my life and create a reality that is so much better for me than just falling subject to the circumstances and past that I have had that wasn't my fault, that I didn't have any control over. How can I take back my power, take back control and create what I want?

Speaker 1:

How can I take back my power, take back control and create what I want? Okay, so how about fostering community and connection? Sharing playful and imaginative moments with others deepens bonds, creating a supportive spiritual community.

Speaker 3:

Well, I think about the three of us and we do this all the time. We do a channel and then share what we came up with. We sit and pull some cards and just play around with that. When we have new intuitive or spiritual experiences, we share that with each other so that, and a lot of times we'll be having very similar experiences at the same time and then we're like, oh my God, you're doing that too. I can't believe it. I love it when that happens.

Speaker 3:

It is so that, and having that community of people that are open to imagination and creativity and spiritual play, that gives you permission to do that. And I don't know about you guys, but for me it's a motivator too. Like, if you guys have come across some new technique and you're like this is so cool, well, I'm sure going to go try that out, because, boy, that does sound cool and I want to add that into my toolkit. And so I think, yeah, if you can find like-minded people to play together with or share experiences with, that is going to accelerate your growth in the most beautiful of ways.

Speaker 1:

So find your people, people, okay. So enhancing connection with spirit, making it easier to connect with spiritual guides, angels or the divine.

Speaker 3:

Well, I think that is a good one, Because if you don't have imagination, if you're not open to new experiences, then how are you going to connect with your spiritual team? Because that is one of their main access points is coming through imagination, and when they come through, they're very subtle. So you got to work with them and so being open to them, communicating with you in whatever way they choose, or just imagining okay, I'm going to imagine that my spirit guide is sitting right next to me and we're going to have a conversation, I'm just going to imagine the whole conversation. And so then you ask your spirit guide a question and then you make up the answer and you're creating this whole conversation and that gives them an opening where they can influence the answers that you're quote, unquote making up, and so it opens a door, it opens a gateway. So imagination is key if you really want to foster a stronger connection with your spiritual team, for sure.

Speaker 1:

Okay, encouraging trust in the universe. A playful approach helps us to let go of rigid control and trust in the flow. A playful approach helps us to let go of rigid control and trust in the flow of life and the universe's guidance.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's all about that control that we mentioned earlier. If you let go of the control, then you allow a lot more possibilities to come in, many that maybe you didn't even consider. And the other thing I think it does is if you're using spiritual play and imagination on a regular basis, your mind is going to start seeing the world as a happier place, intuitively working with your community and having positive experiences there. It's like you're dumping all these creative, positive imagination things into your mind and if you do that on a regular basis, all of a sudden you're going to start seeing the universe as a more safe, trustworthy, beautiful place. And, yeah, it gives you some of that emotional resilience that we talked about earlier. So, definitely. So, if you want to jump into imagination and spiritual play, how does it work? Okay, first choose what kind of imagination or creative activity you want to do, and it can be anything. It can be visualizing something in your mind. It can be writing something, automatic writing or writing a story that you just make. It can be artwork. It can be just asking questions as you're living your life, like which way is this person going to turn when they're driving down the road? So figure out one or maybe multiple ways that you want to play around with your imagination. So first, figure out what's going to be your intro, what's going to be the way you do it. So then you're going to set an intention, and this is super important. You want to set an intention that you have no expectations. You want to set an intention that this is going to be something that is safe and fun, and really that's the only intentions that you want to set, because we, like we said, you want to let go of those expectations and you want to be open to whatever comes through your imagination, because it is unique.

Speaker 3:

Everybody's imagination is different, and so you're going to get a one of a kind of experience with your imaginative play and then, once you've done it, then reflect on it. You can either journal a little bit, if you like doing that, or you can just think about it. How did that feel? Did I like that? Did I learn anything about myself or the world around me? And a lot of times it will give you something that you can think about, a new experience that you can just start processing. Don't be judgmental about it, don't think oh, my imagination stinks, it doesn't. Everybody's got this muscle and sometimes you got to work at it a little bit to get it going and get it flowing. But don't judge whatever comes, just allow it, enjoy it, think about it, Process it and then move on to the next one. And the more you do this, the more you're going to build that imagination and it's going to build that intuition.

Speaker 2:
