Money is Not Your Problem
Ep.23 From Money Struggles to Financial Coach with Sara Hurst
In this episode of "Money is Not Your Problem," Financial Coach Sara Hurst shares her inspiring journey to becoming a financial coach. She discusses her early money lessons growing up, from her memories at Nordstrom as a 5-year-old to feeling the money uncertainty and stress of a working hard family with 6 daughters. Sara also talks about her joint financial journey with her husband, highlighting the strength of teamwork and communication in managing finances.
Sara delves into her experience as a parent, explaining how her two boys have different relationships with money. She stresses the importance of tailoring financial education to each child's personality and needs, whether they are natural savers or spenders. And the book series her family enjoys - The Warrior Kid by Jocko Willink. ( Gotta love Jocko!)
Now that both of her boys are in school, Sara has more time to invest in her career as a financial coach. She discusses her mission to empower individuals and families with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their finances.
Sara leaves listeners with an inspiring lesson she has learned over the years and how she honors her mom's memory.
Listeners are encouraged to take charge of their financial future, understanding that money is not the problem; it's an opportunity waiting to be understood and mastered.
