Ep. 28 Are Your Best Moments The Key to Your Future Goals?
Have you ever set New Year's resolutions multiple times and failed to achieve them? If so, why should you set them again this year? In this episode, we delve into Jon Acuff's approach of examining the best moments from the past to shape and establish goals.
Drawing from his book, 'All It Takes is a Goal,' we present three steps for you to explore and determine if they work for you:
- Compile a list of your best moments, whether from the previous year or across your lifetime.
- Categorize these moments into four distinct groups: experiences, achievements, relationships, and possessions.
- Utilize these categorized moments as inspiration for setting meaningful and attainable goals in various aspects of your life, including finances, experiences, relationships, or material belongings.
By following these steps, you can align your goals with the moments that hold genuine significance, boosting your motivation to set and ultimately achieve them. If you're hungry for more successful steps and insights into goal setting and achievement, we highly recommend diving into Jon Acuff's book, 'All It Takes is a Goal.
