Money is Not Your Problem
If you've ever said "I'm just bad with money" â this podcast is for you.
Money Is Not Your Problem is for capable, hardworking women who are tired of starting over, avoiding their numbers, and wondering why nothing seems to stick. The truth is, financial struggle rarely comes down to math. It comes down to patterns, beliefs, and the stories we carry about what we deserve or what's even possible for us.
Each episode gives you something real: a financial concept explained simply, a mindset shift worth sitting with, and a practical step you can take before the week is out.
I'm Madeleine Strasburg â Financial and Life Coach, former math teacher, and founder of Strasburg Coaching. With a Master of Education, over 20 years of teaching personal finance, and certifications from Ramsey Solutions and The Life Coach School, I've worked with women at every stage of the financial journey. I know what it looks like to be smart and responsible yet still feel completely stuck with money.
This podcast is built on one core belief: money management is a learnable skill. Not a personality trait. Not a moral score. A skill â and you can build it.

The start of a New year is a natural time to review our daily routines and ask a simple question: Is there an easier or better way to do this? If your productivity system worksâbut feels heavier than it needs to beâthis episode is for you.
In this solo episode of Money Is Not Your Problem, we talk about giving yourself permission to try different approaches to your workday so that important tasks actually get completed. Instead of promoting one ârightâ method, this conversation invites you to observe how you work now and consider small adjustments that can improve focus, energy, and follow-through.
Inspired by the Eat the Frog approach, we explore the idea of starting with the hardest, most important taskâand compare it with another option many people use to build momentum: quick wins. The goal isnât to choose the âbestâ rule, but to find what helps you move through your day more effectively.
Youâll hear practical ideas on:
- When tackling the âugliest frogâ first makes sense
- When starting with quick wins can support your rhythm
- Why productivity looks different in different seasons
- How to test small changes in your routine without pressure or guilt
This episode isnât about doing more. Itâs about refining your daily routine, so the work that matters most actually gets done with greater consistency throughout the year.
