I am a real-life big sis, here to bring positivity and continue to open the door for tough conversations within our community. Taking on the burden of a friend in emotional distress can be extremely stressful and draining so remember to recognize your limits and take care of your own emotional health. Remember that you are never solely responsible for another person’s happiness. You might feel responsible, and your friend might even be making you feel like you are the only one who understands and can help, but that isn’t true.
