Yoshiko Burney is the owner and leader of The Butterfly Project, a domestic violence non-profit providing services to women survivors. As CEO of The Burney Consulting Firm, she provides consulting services educating youth groups and church organizations about domestic violence, equipping leaders to handle victims that come to work after a night of abuse, victims that come to worship and how to have a safety plan in place just in case abuse meets you where you are. She has also been the keynote speaker at both Texas Southern University and Jackson State University. Yoshiko lives in Houston, TX and is a dog mom to Kolin who is the best thing to ever happen to her.
