Michelle experienced as a first-time founder just how difficult it was for a startup to access the media in a meaningful way. She couldn’t afford a full-service agency on her bootstrapped budget, and found the process of personal outreach time consuming, and yielding no worthwhile results.
After selling her company, she traveled abroad to consider her next move. It was during this time, and talking to local businesses that Michelle realized just how many small companies lacked access to the media. That's when she founded PressHook, a media relations network that connects journalists and brands to create newsworthy stories.
