Welcome back to God's Loving Sacrifice Memorization Podcast. We are on our third unit of the group assurance this week. Remember, it only takes a few minutes a day. Any time you can devote to it is great. You can memorize it in traffic and when you're getting ready to go to bed, when you get up in the morning. What do you need to do? You need to hear it, read it, write it, speak it. Remember.

Speaker 1:

You can go to my website at wwwgodslovingsacrificecom and go to the memorization scripture tab. Each week you will find a printable sheet with the scripture on it for that week. Sheet with the scripture on it for that week we are going to look at this week John 14, 1. Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in me. You know, if you read the scriptures before a scripture and after a scripture, it gives you so much more information about what that scripture is talking about.

Speaker 1:

Most of the time. This is part of the upper room meeting, when Jesus meets with his disciples the final time and he tells them he's leaving and he's going away and he won't be with them much longer, but he tells them let not your heart be troubledizing. Before that in assurance was 1. John 5, 11, and 12. And this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life and his life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life, but he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. Now, remember this one, and I hope a lot of you have heard this one and probably have memorized some of the scriptures right past. That which you might hear in the weeks to come was John 14, 1,. Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me, and that's what we have to do. We have to believe in him with all of our hearts, with all of our souls. He has to be number one in our lives. There can be nothing above him, and we have to ask him into our lives and allow him to make us into a new being. And some people think that's very hard, but when you give it to him, he takes care of it. So it's John 14, 1. So it's John 14, 1. Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.

Speaker 1:

You know you should read these scriptures that I give you. Read them every day. You know we talk so much about that. Every time you listen to me. I say hear it, read it, write it, speak it. But that's really the truth. This specific scripture and the scriptures beneath it, is one that I can just say off the top of my head because I've read them so many times and they're such a wonderful set of scriptures and, as I said, as we're going through this one, you'll hear some of the ones that go along with it. So, every day, try using this first, reading it, remembering it, speak it, tell somebody about it, listen to it and, if you need something else throughout the day, go to Wisdom of the Day Wisdom for the Day.

Speaker 1:

Excuse me, rickorg, it's my friend Rick's podcast. It's very insightful. I think you will enjoy it. You can also listen to it anywhere. You listen to your podcast. He's doing something new this year, so go out and find out what he's doing. That's wisdomforthedayorg. Now, let's remember to hear it, read it, write it, speak it. And the scripture for today is John 14, 1. Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. Hear it, read it, write it, speak it, and you know what? Pop me a line. Let me know that you're reading them, let me know that you're memorizing. Let me know that this is important to you. I do see people that are going out there and listening to them and that makes me very proud, but I would love to hear your comments. It's hard sometimes sitting here by yourself doing this podcast every week but never hearing from anyone. So, just for me, give me a comment. I would greatly appreciate it.
