My website is https://www.godslovingsacrifice.com
Welcome back to God's Loving Sacrifice Memorization Podcast. We are on our fourth unit of assurance this week. Remember it only takes a minute a day, or five or ten, whatever you can devote to it to memorize your scriptures. If you go to my website, wwwgodslovingsacrificecom and go to the Memorization tab each week, I add a printable sheet there with the scripture that week. And what are we going to do to memorize these scriptures? We're going to hear it, read it, write it and speak it.
Speaker 1:Let's see what today is. This goes along with our last scripture that we did, which was John 14, 1. Let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in me. This week's is John 14, 2.
Speaker 1:In my father's house there are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you. This is probably a scripture you've heard many times and probably a lot of you already know it, so you're well ahead on this memorization. This says there are many mansions. What it really means is there are rooms, and if any of you listen to my podcast about how Christ's bride and a Jewish wedding are similar, it talks about how the groom goes back to the father's house and prepares a place for his bride, and it's a room in the house or several rooms in the house, but that's the same thing we're talking about. He's going into preparing a place for you and you know, once we get there, we won't care if it's a mansion, a room or a shack, because we're going to be with the Heavenly Father. So that's what's so wonderful about this. Let's remember this is our fourth scripture in our memorizations on assurance. The ones we had before was 1 John 5.11, and this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. Second one was John 5.12, which was the continuation of the first one. He who has the son has life, and he that does not have the son does not have life. And then last weeks was John 14.1,. Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Also believe in me. And this week's John 14.2, in my father's house there are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you. That's your scripture this week and next week is going to be a continuation of these scriptures. Try to do this every day. Try to read this scripture, talk about this scripture. Hear it, read it, write it, speak it. That's the way we memorize these scriptures.
