Welcome back to God's Loving Sacrifice Memorization Podcast. We are on our sixth unit of assurance. Remember to hear it, read it, write it and speak it. It doesn't take long. Every day, and if you just take a little bit of time and either listen to this podcast over again or know the Scripture, have a piece of paper with the Scripture written on it and use it. Memorize your Scriptures.
Speaker 1:It's very important to memorize Scriptures. I can't say that it's absolutely necessary. You have to know all the scriptures by heart. It's just nice to know where they are when you remember them. But you realize that if you read the Word and the time comes that you need that scripture, the Holy Spirit will help you remember that scripture, but it's still good to hold the word in your heart. These things are what builds our armor. Let's see what our scripture is this week. And this week it is John 14, 6. Jesus said to him I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Speaker 1:Tozer had a quote that was really good. It says Jesus is not one of the many ways to approach God, nor is he the best of several ways. He is the only way and he is the only way. The scriptures that we've had, the five before, were 1 John 5.11,. And this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son 1 John 5, 12. He who has the son has life. He who does not have the son of God does not have life. And then we have John 14, 1, 2, and 3 that says Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself. That where I am there ye might be also.
Speaker 1:And then today's is John 14, 6. Jesus said to him I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me. That is so important. And when you're talking to people out on the street and they say well, you know, there are so many religions, there's many religions. There's only one God and there's only one way to get to Him and that's through His Son. So that is your scripture for this week. If you like some daily wisdom. Check out Rick's podcast. It's called Wisdom for the Day and it's at wwwwisdomforthedayorg or anywhere you listen to your podcast. He has a very inspiring way to present things, so go listen to him, alright. Our scripture for today or this week is John 14, 6. Jesus said to him I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me. All right, hear it, read it, write it, speak it.
