Remember we say hear it, read it, write it and speak it.
Speaker 1:Today, our scripture is one of my favorites. I think it probably gives us more information on what Jesus did for us than anything in the New Testament. It's in Isaiah 53, and it's Isaiah 53, 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed. This is what he did at the cross. This is such an impactful scripture. When you talk to someone about what did God do, we all look at the New Testament and read what happened. But when you can see that in the Old Testament, in Isaiah, they knew that he would be wounded for us, that he would be bruised for us, that he would heal us, I just think that's so wonderful. Heal us. I just think that's so wonderful.
Speaker 1:The last scripture we had memorization was Isaiah 26.3. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts you. And this week's again, he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed. That's Isaiah 53, 5. Well, that's our scripture memorization for this week. Well, that's our scripture memorization for this week. And again, let's look at a daily wisdom that we can listen to, and that's a short daily podcast by my friend, rick, and it's wisdomforthedayorg or anywhere. You listen to your podcast and I think you'll truly enjoy it. He is a very insightful and inspiring podcaster, so listen to it. Remember Isaiah 53, 5, that he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon him and by his stripes. We Hear it, read it, write it, speak it.
