This is a poem by William Wordsworth, all about the River Thames, the famous river that runs through London and beyond. Much of London traffic used to go by the River Thames, which ran inland from the sea. King Henry VIII would go by royal barge from Westminster to his palace in Hampton Court in the 1500's. William Wordsworth was one of the great English poets, born in the late 18th Century.
