In this episode, we explore Job’s sharp words in Job 13:4, where he calls his friends “worthless physicians.” Through a personal story and Job’s interaction with his friends, we examine the difference between care that heals and care that simply rushes to explain. Job’s friends began well by showing up and sitting in silence, but they failed when they chose answers over empathy. Drawing wisdom from Proverbs, this episode challenges us to consider whether our words bring healing or harm when others come to us in pain.
