After slowly walking through each stanza of Psalm 119, one truth kept standing out: how much of what we are searching for spiritually is already right in front of us in God’s Word. In this episode, we talk about the simplicity, beauty, and sufficiency of Scripture and how we often complicate what God made clear. From Psalm 119 to Ecclesiastes 12, we explore the tension between endlessly searching for “more” and simply allowing the truth of God’s Word to shape our lives. The Word still gives light, peace, wisdom, freedom, and life…if we will open it and let it guide us.
