On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are dancing their way to freedom. We watched the 2026 film from Vicky Jewson, Pretty Lethal.
Don’t you just hate it when you’re traveling around Eastern Europe with your ballet troupe and get stuck in a creepy inn with some of the worst men in the world? Aren’t you just tired of having to righteously murder your way out of there?
If that resembles you, then do we have a B-movie that you won’t be able to help relating to. For this month’s B-movie, we’ll decide if this killer ballerina movie is brilliant, a flunder, or the dreaded blunder.

Intro
SPEAKER_00Hello and welcome to the tutu appointment of your life. That we have it in every color white, yellow, blood soaked, inspired, just like to try to be like, what is it? Um hide and seek, but not quite as good of a look.
SPEAKER_01Definitely not, sadly.
SPEAKER_00No, no, but if you're here for some mediocre story, but some great dancing and fighting, then join us as we discuss the movie Pretty Lethal on this week's episode of the podcast on more movies.
Movie Discussion
SPEAKER_00Pow. And you know what? That is a real shame that we did not have any Wilhelms in this, because this is this movie should have leaned into B movie territory more than it did, and Wilhelm would have helped.
SPEAKER_01Couldn't agree with you more there, Steven. I mean, yeah, it's our B movie, so there's always an expect already an expectation that it's gonna have one. And then what, you got people getting shot and kicked in the balls and and just like sliced in the throat and the face. What are they even doing? Don't they know what kind of a movie that they're making here?
SPEAKER_00I don't think they did because I feel like I saw your rant on Letterboxd, and I completely agree. But in regards to the putting aside the billionaire assholes and all the the studios getting bought up and ruined, I feel like when I was watching this movie, a bunch of people sat at a round table, threw in their ideas of what would be cool with this concept, shook it and grabbed it and didn't try to piece it together.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Let's see, let's see. We've got uh uh John Wick Hotel, but also John Wick Balletty. Uh we've got uh ballerinas, let's throw that into the hat.
SPEAKER_00We have um toe knives, which okay, you know what? That works because those shoes are pretty thick at the base, so that would be a way of like actually making that happen without necessarily hurting yourself.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I didn't mind that at all. That was that was a neat that was a clever thing.
SPEAKER_00Um, unnecessary doctor that disposes of bodies because he's fascinated with bodies. Like that didn't really fit anywhere for me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that that's kind of weird. And wasn't he wasn't like just like fascinated with it. He had like uh, you know, I'm not gonna kink shame, but this guy was way into dead bodies, you know, and yeah, removing their limbs and their eyes and everything. And it's you know, I don't want to know what this guy's personal life is like.
SPEAKER_00No, not at all, not at all. That not for me. That it just there was so much that it could have done and it didn't, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_01I agree. Yeah, there's a lot of potential in a story like this, but I I don't know what happened. It was I don't I don't really want to be like the the online people who just assume that anything that's bad these days was oh, it was just written by AI. Um, because that's that's kind of a lazy critique, I think. I see that a lot on like letterboxed.
SPEAKER_00It did feel like that.
SPEAKER_01I I I agree. I think it wasn't necessarily oh, it was written by AI. I think it was just written by somebody who either doesn't know how to write well or just had to like whip out a script in two weeks. So this didn't have enough time to do it.
SPEAKER_00Felt like if I had a budget for my senior thesis and wanted to make an action film, what I would have made and what I would have thought was great back then while you're still in film school.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Which if this was a film school student, then yeah, this then great job. Amazing.
SPEAKER_01It's fantastic, though. Like the best film of the entire school ever.
SPEAKER_00But outside of film school, not so much because like the concept of we're gonna focus on these ballerinas and how they fight. Okay, cool. Their clothes were wet, they the only dry clothes were the costumes. All right, cool. I I love that because that gave us a reason to have them in those clothes when they weren't in there. Because like, unless they were performing at this place, there was no reason to put them in this, and that's the whole concept of the film is deadly ballerinas.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, it worked, you know. They they uh didn't have all of the clothes with them. It made sense, you know.
SPEAKER_00It all worked. That the way that they were bending in like the fryer, which I was so afraid when she got went in there, and then the the fridge, the freezer, and all that, yeah, that makes sense. They're very flexible. That worked. Uh-huh. The spin kicks, the choreographed fighting, cool. The little toe, whatever that's called, where the kind of shifting on their trippy toes dancing. Oh, the the on point steps. I might be wrong. Yeah, yeah. Probably maybe it sounds right. The on-point steps, the tiptoes on toes, definitely didn't seem necessary for fighting. This is like No, no.
SPEAKER_01And there was one there's one shot where where like somebody, some bad guy gets like knocked to the ground by some ballerina, and then you see just a little tippy toes going across the screen. I was like, was this supposed to be serious? Because I am laughing my head off right now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, it was just like, uh, like that would have been more of um it would have been better for like a slow motion thing like that is to see them like do like a jump leap, and it's just like yeah, the kind of like that first Deadpool where he sees the unicorns because there's a knife in his head, have somebody be like kind of concuss and see a ballerina flying in the air with all this blood following like a rainbow.
SPEAKER_01That would be cool. We do get that kind of that really awesome jump leap toward the end. Uh that that was great, but yeah, it's a superhuman jump at the performance, which That was crazy.
SPEAKER_00I'm surprised that Festival let them perform covered in blood, unless they were just really afraid of them.
SPEAKER_01I'd be like, you know what? Okay, you you don't have any you know newly attired tatutos or whatever. That's okay, whatever. But at least wash your faces, girls. You don't go up on the stage like completely drenched in blood, is what I feel like they should have said to them as they arrived.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the they should have changed the song to something dark too. Yeah, yeah. But that would be a new choreograph and all that. But still, it's just like I feel like the people there were just afraid of them.
SPEAKER_01I mean, yeah, if I saw five women come in like drenched in blood and you're not sure if it's theirs or if it's somebody else's, and they're all beat up and cut up, I'd be like, Well, whatever you want. I mean, just you know, go on in.
SPEAKER_00Take my trophy. You guys win. Done done.
SPEAKER_01But uh, yeah, uh this is you know, we got we gotta add this movie, I'm thinking, to to the c the hopefully small collection of movies that are just like, don't you dare ever go traveling alone or without uh you know, uh adults with you when you're in Europe or definitely Eastern Europe, because like in Hostel, you'll probably die and you'll get tortured.
SPEAKER_00But the thing is, they went traveling with somebody who was trying to protect them and just didn't think that, oh, if I say no to this guy and kick him in the balls for being handsy, he'll shoot me in the back of the head. Like that was a bit much for that guy. Like, really? All of a sudden, like it took till the end of the movie to get any backstory. Like the Uma Thurma's character, we finally got a reason why she was like that at the very end.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, pretty good reason too. I would have liked to have seen that earlier. I mean, like, why because and this is kind of my overarching issue with this entire movie is before you understand that about Uma Thurman's character, um Devorah, I think her name was, uh like her and everybody else here feels just so one-dimensional in their characters.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Like even I mean our main ballerina, she seemed like she had a pass, but we didn't really get anything. We just knew that she essentially came from the streets in some capacity, was all the vibe I was getting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. No bones, you know, she lived a hard-knocked life. Princess was just a spoiled rich brat. Uh uh Grace was like, oh, she she loved Jesus.
SPEAKER_00So spoiled rich brat and Jesus Lover, they both came around because like Jesus Lover's like, I'm gonna give the wrath of God essentially. You know what? Cool, that's what it takes. Yeah, fight back.
SPEAKER_01Speel give that holy justice, whatever.
SPEAKER_00Like, as long as you're helping your girls out. Uh spoiled rich girl.
SPEAKER_01Chloe.
SPEAKER_00It took a bunch of knocking around to finally get her guard down and realize these are your friends, you're just being a butt.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. There was character development with her eventually, but yeah, uh, let's see. Chloe was deaf. That was all that mattered with her. Uh Zoe was afraid, but also wanted to save her sister.
SPEAKER_00That Chloe be being deaf just didn't add to the movie because it was just like, uh, one time she almost got shot, so somebody had to grab her, so that's how it came into play. But I'm like, uh, she felt vibration because somebody was new, but I'm like, that was so loud they uh her sister should have heard it. So I'm like, they never really utilized her being deaf to the advantage of like the situation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, not as well as they could have and should have, which is a shame because that actress is actually deaf in real life.
SPEAKER_00And like, oh yeah, come on. And she's the only one that can go over and stab the person who they couldn't bring down until they did like a sound wave attack.
SPEAKER_01That that I would have liked that, but she did exactly that in a quiet place.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but you see, like, but she slammed it against them. I'm talking about like they just like overwhelm the room, like not her, but she's the only one unaffected that can go kill the the foe.
SPEAKER_01That would be good. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I mean, use the tools you have at your advantage. Um, and I don't know. I I guess they were they they were doing that. They definitely they were these women are very strong, they're very uh agile and graceful and everything. And when you've got just a a bunch of like cocky ass, like kinda hulking uh bad guys chasing you around, like they they're not gonna know what to how to how to deal with these women flipping around them and slicing their throats. So their talents I think did pay off, but uh yeah.
SPEAKER_00Maybe the deaf aspect was just more to show like you can still be a battle arena even if you can't hear the music. We'll give them that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like there's no limitation.
SPEAKER_01Like when it comes to to these women, it's like, you know, the they each of them have their thing, and that's all they have for their character.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and literally the her sister was just like, I take care of my sister. I'm like, this was I mean, I hope so.
SPEAKER_01Very one-dimensional.
SPEAKER_00I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. I I you know, I think Bones and Princess probably had the most uh character development throughout the story. Didn't happen until like the very end of the movie, unfortunately. But everybody else was just I don't know, there was no depth to anything here.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I we get why Uma Thurman's Thurman's character was like that, but I don't get why she wouldn't have just locked the ballerinas away and said, like, I'm gonna deal with them, but then like blackmail the guy to get his father there because she liked the ballerinas. She said she said like it's tragic that all this training is gonna go to waste because of some fucker. I'm like, if you're planning to kill the guy and blow up your place, it's not like they're gonna come back and report you and get in trouble, so why not wait and release them once you're done? Because it's not gonna change anything for like your plan. So why would you have to kill them? Like it just seemed not thought through for somebody who literally had Joker level C4 ready to go.
SPEAKER_01So much C4. Which I was insane.
SPEAKER_00Because that shot where she was getting ready and like she had her face in multiple mirrors and it was just blinking amazing. But really, that was her plan. Like one of these days he's gonna come meet me and I'm gonna blow myself up with him.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you know, I it's fair enough, sort of thing. She's lived a really shitty life, and she probably, you know, that I she's so blasé about everything, she's just like, whatever, if I die, whatever. But you know, if I'm gonna go out, I wanna take this fucker with me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I could appreciate that. But yeah, I you know, but by the end, she she was on the ballerina's side. You know, eventually she came around and was like, no, save yourself, girls, get out of here. And yeah, I'm kind of with you.
SPEAKER_00Like, why why wouldn't it have been like that to begin with? Like, I would have loved for them to have been locked away and then shit it's a fan, and then they start doing their killing spree like they are, and then they realize she was actually trying to help them and they work with her.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I that could have been cool. I guess uh until that point, she until she knew that she was gonna get um I don't know, the the big bad boss guy actually to the the hotel, then she before then she was just like, okay, business as usual. We've got these women that we can just like dismember and sell off to this weird creepy doctor guy. But then after it becomes clear that the big bad boss guy is coming, then yeah, I I feel like she should have just let them go or something. I don't know. Which one's what's your problem with them then?
SPEAKER_00Very John Wickovitz because like this guy's son fucked up everything.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, I feel like down to you know the action, down to the look of the movie, down to even the hotel, which looks a lot like uh the Continental Hotel, uh like bar.
SPEAKER_00Uh run down Continental.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. This this one very much wanted to be like, you know, it it feels very clear to me that this one is aping John Wick in a lot of ways. But despite John Wick ostensibly, you know, being you know, it could have been just as one note as pretty lethal is here. There was so much depth to this character and so much history that we get over even just the first movie, and we don't get that here, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know any of the I don't know who these women are, and frankly, you know, I don't want them to die, but like I don't know why I'm interested. Yeah. I I know, you know, of course they're gonna get out, so it doesn't feel like the stakes are very high for any of them. It just now I was I'll I say that, and I was absolutely like my jaw dropped when they shot their their like dance instructor, because I was like, Whoa, that's a crazy escalation that I didn't see coming.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was just so fast, yeah. Which actually helped because the movie was dragging for me at that point and we hadn't even hit the 30-minute mark. I was just like, Yeah, what is this cheesiness? You guys aren't uh treating it like a good B movie, you're just literally trying stuff you think will look cool on screen, and then oh cool, action's gonna come out finally. That'll help the movie, which it helped.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it did. It did, you know, things got a little crazy for a little while, and suddenly all these characters are in a in a crazy situation, and they have to try to use their their athleticism and their their smarts to get out of there. You know, the second act I thought was really interesting, you know, with them locked in the basement and having to try to figure out their way out of out of this entire crazy situation. But then it, you know, it kind of devolves again back into action, action, action, which I don't hate completely. Like I love a good action movie, but you it can't just be that and expect and you can't expect it to be a good movie if it's just that.
SPEAKER_00It takes a very interesting film to be able to pull that off because pretty much most Jathan Statham stuff can be action, action, action be good because like they give us a strong story at one point, and then the rest of the movie is fighting. Like, here's your motivation done. I think it was like a hard working man. He was given a job at like a construction yard by somebody who became friends with, and he's like, Hey, you gave me a chance, you gave me work when nobody else would. Yada yada, you didn't ask questions. Then that guy's daughter gets kidnapped, and he's like, She's family, like my daughter. Boom, bloody taken. And that was the wrestling movie.
SPEAKER_01That one was great. One I I just watched kind of recently and and enjoyed uh a lot, you know, to along those same lines with his movies was Shelter. I don't know if you have if you've seen that one yet.
SPEAKER_00I've been trying to decide if I was going to, but if you enjoyed it, then that tells me I'll probably really like it. Because I enjoy his movies because I I know what to expect from him.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you know what you're getting into with him.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it's not a criticism because like he he knows it, he has fun. We both we all enjoy what's happening.
SPEAKER_01He makes a lot of money for for all of his filmmakers that he's working with, and it all works.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's and he's he's really well trained, so he's like he's got skills.
SPEAKER_01And every once in a while he he just ends up in a movie with a script that's actually really good. And you're like, wow, okay, good for you, man. I'm glad you're still finding good stuff and you're not so typecast.
SPEAKER_00Ah, and Shelter is on sale. I might have to consider that.
SPEAKER_01Could be worth it, yeah. Oh, and then we've got uh the Beekeeper 2 coming out next year.
SPEAKER_00Ooh, fun, fun.
SPEAKER_01I like how we just got to and oh yeah, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and go for it.
SPEAKER_01Well, I was gonna say, and a movie that I I want to see just for the title of it. Um, it's called Jason Statham Stole My Bike.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that that sounds phenomenal. But what I was gonna say is this tells you how this movie uh good this movie was, or a lack of how good this movie was that we're talking about. We're talking about Jason Statham movies as to what this should have uh tried to be like.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like we're more we I think we spent more time talking about what it could have been with giving examples than what it was.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Now you see, I I watch this, I'm like, all the pieces are there, but they're not fitting together.
SPEAKER_00Now, I don't know whether I'm gonna get a butt Steven Y from you, which we're not there yet, so we'll find out. I'm not gonna give myself a butt Stephen Y because one, the fighting didn't let down, then didn't disappoint. I give them that. True. Absolutely. If if at least one of the main gimmicks doesn't fail, I won't do a butt why for me. I I if you give me one, I won't be like bummed I'll be like, well, that feels alright. But we'll see. And also, I love the fact they suck with the strength because what is this bones Maddie? She's been dancing forever, so then utilizing that skill is perfect because I think it was one of the Sia videos with Shiloh LaBeouf with that little girl in the cage. That was her.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think she she did uh at least a couple Sia videos. Oh yeah. Yeah. So yeah, so she's really great. Um, her and I think uh Lana Condor, who played Princess, also had uh pretty extensive dance training, too.
SPEAKER_00I've I recognize her face, but I couldn't remember from where, so that's probably it. But they all the actresses played the scripts they were given well. It was just the script and the editing could have been better. Like the editing they could have saved if they just went cheesier.
SPEAKER_01Nah, I agree with that. Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Because we can have a shitty B movie script and still have a great time. Like, what is it, Hawaii? It wasn't exactly the strongest script there, like hard ticket to Hawaii, but we still enjoyed it.
SPEAKER_01But they leaned into that. I I feel like they knew what they were doing and they leaned hard into it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so see, you could have a good B movie with a crappy script. And I don't call it crappy, it was just very weak or very light, I would say, for hard tickets.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, no, it was there wasn't much to that story at all, really.
SPEAKER_00So as you see, you can you could have a you could you could do good, you just need to uh know your stuff. But I don't know. I'm gonna scam my thing. If there's anything else, I let's see. Um I love the the the the um princess using the wi-fi bitching and complaining to distract the guy. That was clever.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Mirror. That's good. Uh let's have them take motorcycles instead of the SUV that's right fucking there.
SPEAKER_01Man, I read that same note. I'm like, that those SUVs look very fancy and completely unharmed.
SPEAKER_00And safe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Uh also I thought, you know, uh around that same to same time in the movie, I thought that was a lot of C4 that she put into the hotel. And I like unless the the hotel was like had, I don't know, foot thick steel reinforced walls or something under that uh stonework and masonry. Shouldn't like the entire town have blown up? That was so much C4.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So I don't know about the entire town, but do you remember you've seen Elizabeth Town? Yes.
SPEAKER_01Do you mind Oh yeah, we we watched it here for the podcast.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Do you remember the scene where they played that VHS to calm down the kid who was always overreact like screaming and they showed like a build a house being blown up? That's a level of explosion that should have happened to that end.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, no, these women should have been like limping after they fly out of the windows of this hotel. They should have been just like limping because they've got shrapnel like stuck in their legs and stuff. But no, it was just like a a kind of a a poof with the explosion. They they flew out of the window and everything was fine.
SPEAKER_00What would have been amazing if like it blows up extremely, they get flung really far, they land on the motorcycles, and each of them turns and like s pulls a piece of shrapnel, all the other ones like arm or something. Because like they still get nailed, but like they land on the bikes, and it's like, all right, let's go.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. I don't know. I guess that I guess they blew all their money hiring on Umma Thurman or something, uh because or getting like this location in the first place because they you know they obviously could they couldn't blow up the building. It looked like a very nice uh and very old building, so they couldn't actually blow it up. Um, you know, it wasn't a $200 million budget or anything. So uh I guess all they could do with what money they had left was just you know a little kind of uh firecracker pop relative to how much C4 was in there.
SPEAKER_00Which it look it didn't look didn't look like fake fake, so that was fine.
SPEAKER_01It it didn't look like what they had there didn't look fake. It was just the scale of it, which just did not match what I was expecting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so it is what it is. Like uh you know what? I I
Trivia
SPEAKER_00uh let's do the trivia because I have a way of how I have a phrase I want to use for for my recommendation ranking here.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. All right. Well, yeah, let's get to this trivia. Some some interesting stuff here, I think. So uh Millison Simmons, who played uh Chloe, uh who was deaf in real life, uh portrays Chloe a deaf ballerina. Simmons advocated during early development to transform the character from a hearing role into a deaf one. Uh the director subsequently researched deaf dancers in the ballet world and incorporated their experience into the film sound design, allowing audiences to experience Chloe's sensory uh percep perspective during action sequences. Simmons choreographed her own fight scenes using sign language, and CoStar I like this part a lot, too. Co-star Iris Apatow, who plays Chloe's hearing sister Zoe, learned American Sign Language from scratch for that role. Wow. That's amazing. Which is very cool. Yeah. I'm I'm sure I I I d she may not be fluent, but that she made the effort is a really cool thing to do.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So it looks like screenwriter, what is it, Kate Freund?
SPEAKER_01Freund. I would say Freund.
SPEAKER_00Freind. So screenwriter Kate Freund drew upon her professional experience as a formal ballet dancer to infuse the screenplay with authentic details regarding point shoe maintenance. Yeah. The the the knives, the box cutters, including the use of blades for shoe care, which the narrative reimagines as a survival tool tool. See the screenwriter. I think it's when it was taken from page to visual. There's like the whole footsteps going past the person on the ground. They they they took some liberties they shouldn't have.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Alright. Well, the cast spent approximately one month in training before production commenced in Budapest, working simultaneously with stunt coordinators from 87 North Productions and ballet choreographers. Each acts each actress was paired with both a stunt double and a ballet double. Maddie Ziegler, who did Bones, uh, who played Bones, and Lana Condor, who played Princess, both with prior ballet training, performed substantial portions of their own action sequences. Makes sense. Go for that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00They Uma Thurman underwent three months of specialized choreograph training to perform the climactic movement sequence while utilizing a custom-weighted prosthetic. This training ensured the mechanical limb functioned as a focal point of the character's movement rather than a physical limitation. Which and up until she like does that random block of the knife where the metal like a fake leg? I had no idea she had a fake leg. Because like she got injured. I'm like, how did she get injured? Did she lose her toes? What happened? Okay. Right.
SPEAKER_01Permanent toenail loss and now it hurts all the time.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but I that was that did seem to crack me up. Really? You think that's gonna hurt me? I pull my toenails off when they break. I'm like, yeah, that was a good line.
SPEAKER_01It was a good line. I'm wondering how accurate that is because I'm like, okay, I I understand that uh, you know, you're you're doing a lot of damage to your toes, aren't your toenails there? Um, so it I guess it happens all the time, but like, okay, so so it happens all the time, but doesn't it still like kind of hurt a little bit?
SPEAKER_00It's just painful.
SPEAKER_01Do you ever get desensitized to it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, it's it's yeah, desensitize like they fucking do that, which is horrifying.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was gross to see.
Recommendations
SPEAKER_01That's that's for sure.
SPEAKER_00Well, let's see if there's a surprise in our rankings here.
SPEAKER_01Um, probably not at this point, but I will say, I don't know if this will surprise you. I won't give this one a butt Stephen Y, because frankly, it it wasn't bad, and it w it it was kind of just so like middle of the road, kind of boring, that it didn't deserve. It didn't earn its butt Stephen Y. But I'm guessing it earned the It did earn two stars for me, which is I think a pretty uh strong like blunder in in its favor there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Not even really a a fun blunder, a flunder, sad to say.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was just the blunder that I gave it two stars as well, which probably surprised you that I didn't give it like a like two and a half or something, because normally I I was a little surprised, yeah, yeah. It was a blunder that literally the phrase that pop pops in my head is unfortunately the movie disappointed me like a girl on her first time on prom night.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00And that joke only works because everybody knows high school boys are shit their first time.
SPEAKER_01Two-bomb jump. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That was a good joke. I completely forgot about that phrase.
SPEAKER_01It's okay, boys. Just put in the work, you know.
SPEAKER_00I thought you were gonna say something else. I'm like, where is he going with this?
SPEAKER_01Just put in, put it out. Put it in and out. Uh we do the hokey pokey.
SPEAKER_00You're gonna turn yourself around if we keep this up, we're gonna have to make it explicit.

You know, often we I feel like we've been doing a lot of blunders lately, so it's it's it's almost a little nice to get a blunder in there. So thank you for that. Yeah, and thank you for listening, everybody. Um, if you have some other thoughts about this one, I would be interested to hear it. Uh but otherwise, well, we'll we'll see you next uh week, next month, even, when we're getting into September already. We're gonna be doing some uh of our September shorts, and I can't wait to see what we come up with this time. So until then, I've been uh Ballerino Sean.
