Talk is Cheap Podcast
We talk to those who have become badasses at using their voice to speak to their audience fiercely and potently. Led by (yours truly) Journalist and Coach Julia Vogl, the Talk is Cheap podcast digs deep to uncover each guests personal experiences of perceived failure, self-sabotage and fear, and then how they used those lessons to cultivate confidence in their lives and careers.
Together we will become explorers, traversing the inner map of the human condition, cultural programming and its contribution to keeping us small and afraid of being seen. Talk is Cheap will inspire and empower you to use your own voice and embrace your weirdness through the medium of storytelling.

EPISODE 2- "Burlesque, Queer and Unapologetic" with Gina Stirling
In this first episode we speak to the iconic burlesque performer Gina Stirling, who puts the 'G' in 'G Spot' and reveals herself as a radical, queer, self-loving act.
Gina has been performing internationally in Burlesque, cabaret and musical theatre for over two decades. One of her career highlights was being voted into 21st Century Burlesques ‘Top 50 Most Influential Burlesque Figures’ in 2021 worldwide and headlining Perth International Burlesque Festival 2022.

She is extremely passionate about body confidence, sexual empowerment, compersion and seeing her students flourish through dance. Feast your eyes on this femme fatale as she allures you into her world of pleasure.
This episode was truly touching. We cover Gina's roots, the heartbreaking loss of her father at the age of 21, and what it was like being raised in a religious family from the UK. Gina speaks to her experience navigating her own evolution as a queer woman through performance and embodying an unapologetic attitude along the way.
