System Change Made Simple
A phrase often used at climate actions is ‘system change not climate change’. This podcast explores that idea. What kind of system are we living with now? How do systems of exploitation come about? What options for a new system make sense? How could we make system change happen? Join me as I explore these questions. Get excited as we work out how we might make a fresh start. It could be a good idea to start with the first of these podcasts 'Capitalism: A Ghost Story' from July 4th 2022 and go on from there.
System Change Made Simple
Nate Hagens (Great Simplification) and Sarah Wilson (Wild) on collapse.
Sarah Wilson and Nate Hagens are both much liked podcasters in the degrowth movement here in OZ and probably also in other countries. There is much they say that anyone in degrowth would agree with. But there are certain ideas in this interview podcast that I have some qualms about. I am making four podcasts on an interview on Wild with Nate Hagens. This one is on the idea that it is human nature to use complexity to solve problems. Doing this we use energy and end up with a collapse. Like the one we are facing now.
